Domination doesn't depend on you doing large amounts of damage, all you need to do is hit.
I'm unsure whether this accounts for the non damaging powers, but I know that the damage doesn't increase the domination bar, it's only the hit that does.

I believe it's written like that in the description as well, although I can't recall the description off hand right now.

I have to agree on the Drain Psyche.
No slotting for accuracy and unless it's a huge clustered group your lucky if you get one hit off of it!!!
Immensely useful power though.

I haven't really picked up any of the other psi powers so I can't comment on their effectiveness, I've been concentrating on my primary Mind set so far.

Psi is Known for its' long animations, the bonus being that very few of the enemies have psi resistance.

If they were to uber up psi, then you can most assuradly know that they will nerf it again soon after.

I DEFINATELY would like to be able to slot Drain Psyche with Accuracy though.
So far I haven't even bothered adding other slots and have it slotted with Recharge as that's really the only useful thing to slot it with.
But that's just me.

Ok have read through the replies and as expected most are just plain unhelpful not all tho and others just a waste of a read as they clearly dont help ppl problem solve the situation they r in and are more interested in self promoting the stalkers public relations. So i have done some research and found a list of controller powers that can help some alts and their are 2 powers i personally can use on my alt

CONTOLER---CLEAR MIND (if u are teaming use this on your allies,this power + goggles will help a lot with stalkers),PERSONAL FORCE FIELD (if u are not attaking this is your best friend),REPULSION FIELD,FORCE BUBBLE,REPEL,CHOKING CLOUD,CLARITY (+Perseption Power),HURRICANE,QUICKSAND,EARTHQUAKE,HOT FEET,SINGULARITY (Try to stay close to your pet),ARTIC AIR,ICE SLICK,SPECTRAL TERROR(Same as SINGULARITY),SONIC REPULSION (put it on a team mate,blaster/defender/controler,and stay close to him)

So it looks like I am able to start building a strategy that includes some form of pvp action other than running around the zone like a loony popping acc pills like there was no tororrow just simple to survive let alone actually hit anything.Hope some other readers find this small list helpful.

It was exceedingly funny to see a flying Squid, turn suddenly into a human and plummet to the mass chaos below in Siren's call the other night.

It just came to me how hard it can be to get a team and if I dont get a team thats when I dont play him and go on something else. Just an observation. Shame cos in a team he rules and I seem to get into the game easier too. Solo domming is a tad boring.

I know the feeling, which is why i usually start sending out a Broadcast that I'm recruiting, + the lvl's, + that i'll take lackeys. O and i use the search and send tells and invite those that want too, usually it doesn't take long to get at least a few stragglers on and then not long after that a whole 8 player team.

I haven't been playing CoV for a while now though, trying to get to 50 with my hero for the War Shade.

O and to the others, are you talking about Controllers Controllers? or Dominators?

I was there, but I decided to switch to villians as the Hero numbers were way to high and I wasn't really having much fun on the Hero side anyway.

But I was there for the first bit as my Bubbler, man, TOOOOOO MANY hero's to bubble, I couldn't click quick enough and nvm the LAG!

WH AHA HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I never expected my mass holds and sleep and cone of fear to be that effective!

I was putting masses of heroe's out of it last night in Siren's!


And it was SO much fun dropping them from the sky as I went past!

I'd say that against a scrapper it would be reasonable, if, after an AS the result was a draw half the time. People will still complain about not being able to see the stalker coming, cant see a solution to that and i cant think of any games which have solved the problem.

BTW, if anyone knows of a multiplayer stealth game which as solved the problem (something like multiplayer thief, i love thief) i'd love to know about it.

I think the real thing is, people that die complain.
They don't like loosing.
I've never killed anything in PVP, I still go back.

Stalkers are just a fad and will die down as people are now starting to use tactics against them.
(See the Empath bit about them spamming him to stop using Clear Mind 'cause it's "unfair" to them)

No matter what, where you have PVP people will be complaining, 'cause simply, most people don't like loosing & there are a lot of people that play these games that seem to have a god complex.

I've thought up a nice tactic against stalkers which I'll be using tonight, which doesn't require me to see them at all. Dunno if it'll work as it has some major flaws.
