I thought I'd better get my goodbye post in now before I forget to do it. I played mostly on Liberty, had 47 slots opened and filled but had alts on most servers. Played since May 15th 2004 and never quit although I did try a few other games nothing came close to City of Heroes.

Liberty had the best players that ever teamed with, sure other surevers had some nice players here and there but Liberty had the most.

I'm a former member of the HDS(Hamiden Death Squad) 105th Operations(Most of them quit back in 2005), Lightning Brigade(My first SG that I led and led badly), and current member of Thunder Brigade(SG made just to dump mine and Powersurges alts into) & The Legion.

Just looked at my players rating list and thought about just copy and pasting it over but it's like 400 players from across the servers but most of the 4 and 5 star rated ones where on Liberty. My rating system was simple, 5 stars were my SG mates and Sisterhood members, 4 stars were really good/helpful players, 3 stars meant Hey, I did a TF/Trial with you, 2stars was Hey, We PUGed and 1 star was I teamed with you once and that was enough for me.

For a game called City of Heroes only a few times did I feel like a hero and that was either pulling off a near failure of a mission/tf/trial or just sticking it out until we finished no matter how many had already quit and gave up. Examples...

Energy Master doing the hollows cavern trial, team wipe on the last minute, get's up pops all his inspirations and takes down the one villain guarding the hostage with just seconds to spear.

Crimson Azure doing a Terra Volta trial back when it was harder, last wave team wipes, pop a bunch of purples to stay up, heal reactor, rez tank, heal reactor, tank dies again, heal reactor, rez tank, heal reactor, rez scrapper, finally turns the tide and we win.

Winter Baron doing the original Posi TF, members kept quiting and we were down to just 3 members, 7 hours later and with just minutes before the servers were going down we finished.

I'll add more later, Need to see about making a list of all those heroes and villains that had been great over the years, going to miss you all.

I will be playing until the very end only just not as much as I use to.

I'm not going anywhere either, already have alts on most of the servers but Liberty is and will always be home. Will move a lvl 50 over to the new server but that's it I think.

I'll be staying on Liberty, so to speak. It's my home server but I've got alts on almost every server but do plan on transfering a lvl 50 to the VIP server.

I'm looking forward to the f2p because during the times I play, most of the servers are so quiet and not much is going on and I'm hoping that'll be a thing of the past once City of Heroes Freedom is live.

I'm still here at well.

First Sisterhood event I've made it too in a couple of months now. Was fun once I got on an alt that was useful. Had my lvl 45 plant/storm controller but realized he was worthless so switched to a lvl 50 scrapper but he wasn't needed by then so then grabbed my lvl 50 empath/db defender.

Also first hami raid i've been to in years, went to one a year or so after HDS disbanded but it sucked and wasn't any fun.

That was a fun TF, I was on team valor with my scrapper Speedburst.

Sounds good, Need to get a level on one of my lvl 44 alts now.
