Thankfully Cherry and Acious stepped up so Champion finally has PVPEC reps. Based on the threads this event is shaping up to be pretty big and has some really good prizes to boot. GL to those who participate!

Not sure what cap is but as of yesterday I had a bunch of green and never had any red. Not that I really care. I have never been bored enough to even try to figure out how to give or take away someones rep. I find it amusing to say the least that someone cared enough about me to give me all that negative rep.

If you made fun of Hot for being retarded or having a little deek it would be funny. Trying to insinuate that he isn't any good at pvp is just lacking in both honesty and laughability.

He is easily in the top 20 pvp'rs still actively playing this game. (I would say due to his overall ability to be decent on any toon puts him towards the high end of that list) I don't like him so I have no reason to ride his sak. Just stating a fact.

Limiting Sharks when more than 2-3 stalkers are on the team makes much more sense if you have to have a limit. Penalizing the entire league over bad shrakers is retarded.

Yes because a total of 6 people out of possible hundreds of pvprs think it is a bad idea to have multiple and more pvp events.

What makes you think they don't?

I could be wrong here because I obviously wasn't around when the ladder first started however I am pretty certain it was not the very first organized pvp event. Being the PVPEC formed it and the PVPEC was in existance before the ladder I think its a pretty safe bet to say the ladder was created and flourished while other pvp events were going on.

Again ( for atleast the 5th time in this thread alone) I do not know if or when I might run a mini ladder or where it will be. (If I do it will take some time to set up, time to get prize support, time to get an updater, time for teams to sign up, time for practing and then eventually to start) I do however know we have other events that will be coming out. Immediately. This month. I also know we have reps across all 11 servers that are going to continue to run events regardless of whether the ladder is forming, when it forms or if it is stable. While I can wholeheartedly understand that this is the #1 priority for a lot of people (test used to definitely be my #1 priority) and its exciting that maybe things are heading back in that direction it is not for everyone. It is not the only event that should or will go on. There are not only people that will be joining this ladder that are going to want other forms of pvp but there are people not interested in this ladder that want other forms of organized pvp. Because you don't, doesn't mean others don't.

I have no intentions of joining a ladder right now I don't have the time or the drive to commit after the League. I have already been offered a team so no that is not an issue. How is having multiple pvp events going on at once hurting the ladder? JFC, really. Here it is plain and simple. The PVPEC's job is to run events on the live servers. They have never stopped doing so for any other ladder/league/pvp event in the past and are not going to stop now.

I have no idea if I want to run a mini ladder or if I do when I will do it or where I will do it. However if I did want to I started planning it way before this new hype of getting test ladder going right now began so not sure how one trumps the other in your mind. The fact still remains that other events will be ran not only by the PVPEC but by any other individual that cares to do so. It shouldn't hinder the ladder. People can participate in more than one thing if they want and if they don't they don't have to. The test ladder is not the only form of pvp that should be available. The world doesn't revolve around what one group of pvpr's are interested in. People enjoy events and options and variety. If MORE pvp is not an attractive picture to you then particpate in whatever pvp you care to.


So all the other leagues and pvp events in the past while the old ladder was running split the communities? Really? I find that hilarious. When I was on test (and yeah I know vinnie I was on garbage teams that didnt count) I also participated in tvplp or whatever it was called for two seasons and a league on Pinnacle at the same time. I partipated in every PVPEC event or random event that happened on any server I happened to have toons on at the same time. It wasn't that hard. I still had time to play the game, have a real life etc. More pvp = more fun. Being several on my test team and other test teams did the exact same thing I know I wasn't the only one or that this is a hard concept to wrap your mind around.

There have been various leagues and ladders going on across most every server for as long as I can remember. I already know you know that though and are just being your normal quirky self.

I agree 100%. I think people got tired of reading all the TLDR posts to know what the conversation was about. I said we should have the test ladder and a mini-freedom ladder. The mini-freedom ladder being a doorway for new pvpr's and people that are not good enough to get on a test team as an avenue to get better. Also would provide a constant new supply of new blood for the test ladder as people left.

Some peoples opinon was that would conflict with the ladder and it was a bad idea and not needed because all of those new pvprs and people that are not good enough yet to get on a team would be able to join the ladder teams or make their own team. As if ladder teams have always been some huge welcome wagon or something and getting on a team was simple.

People have different opinions. It all really doesn't matter because people will participate in what they want to, and won't if they don't.

I don't know what I was thinking. I should have looked down at the rolls and assumed as much. Now I shall go /wrists.
