  1. I got all on both sets except taunt but I´m thinking of respecing and getting taunt in exchange for unstoppable, I'd use it more often.

I'll give those a shot then. I still have a couple of useful toons left in Victory.

I'm thinking of doing this too. It's a shame about Virtue's low redside population though, I have some pretty interesting toons I would've liked to have given RP a try with.

    Character Bios

I mostly write out the bios for characters that have reached lvl 20; a couple of the new ones have bios too, though.

Also, my bios tend to be origin stories and not a record of what the character has done so far.
  4. Of the 3 servers I've played in (Virtue, Freedom and Victory), Freedom is the 'best' one. It has the highest over-all population, the highest redside population of the three, and the most people looking to group up.

Victory was the least populated of the three but is still pretty full of folks playing. It does, however, seem to have more people looking to solo. I've only ever been able to do one TF there and it was with only 5 people. On Freedom, I have no problem finding a full group for whatever TF I want to do.

Virtue, in the week I spent playing a villain there, seems to have the least people on redside of the three. In the whole week, no one ever used broadcast to look to team up, and the map pops were half of Victory's. I know it's not an RP thing, blueside broadcast channels are filled with people looking for teams.

My suggestion: explore the servers and you'll find the one that's best for you. I still have toons on all three of the above.

If it was, then it was too subtle; I moved my played characters from Victory to those two servers.
  6. The people having numbers added to their character names: Are you sure you didn´t get a rename token? Because I did get them.
  7. Damn, I wanted to mention Bots/Poison first. It's a fun build, by the way, with a lot of single target damage output.

Besides that one, I have an Inv/Dual Blades tank, a good combo for aggro hoarding; an Empathy/Radiation defender, and a Claws/Dark Scrapper.

I always base my character's power selection solely on concept. If I come up with an interesting idea that calls for a Trick Arrow/Assault Rifle combo, I'll do it even if the constant redraw is a hassle.

No kidding, none of my villain characters are over 20 because of this. Add to this the fact that we´re limited to playing most of the game in a place were everyone is a villain anyway and it takes the edge off the evilness of any character you make.
If more of Cov happened in Paragon City it wouldn´t seem so dull.

    I bet.

Recently I heard of a different use for Walk. Walk allows for fortune cards to stack their effects whenever you recieve to different types; getting the same card twice still negates the previous application. It's a bug for sure, but it's there.
  10. Well yes, but all the booster powers were related to the origin of the booster pack. Self-destruct has something to do with technology, the cards are related to magic, so it's quite possible that the power in the next booster will be related somehow to the mutant origin.
  11. I'd put money on the booster power being a self-rez, probably one with a two hour recharge so it won't "break the game" or whatever.

Since a self-rez is something that only affects your character, you don't have to bend over backwards mentally to justify it as a power linked to the mutation origin.

I was just going to say that.

I'm also suspecting that The Resistance is an unwitting Nemesis pawn.
  13. I don't like to walk at all.
It moves way too slow; I don't know anyone under 70 who walks that slow or anyone over 18 who thinks that's how anyone would walk causally.

    Worst Mobs Ever.

I'm surprised at the amount of people hating Night Widows and Mu, I always thought all Arachnos troops were underpowered.

My hate goes to Igneus and Vahzilok. Igneus seem way too powerful for being mobs that just exist to fill up some parts of The Hollows, and Vahzilok bite down hard with their toxic damage.
  15. I'm guessing it will probably be called something like Hybrid or Genetics. That way the dodge the furry bullet and the marvel mutants bullet (paranoid legal department, you know).

If you base yourself off the content of previous super booster packs, we will likely get enough parts to complete two whole costumes plus extra bits. So, I'm guessing one will be a typical anthropomorphic animal costume and the other will be a radioactive mutant costume, with the extra bits being animal parts.
  16. Something I've noticed about names is that most are made up of two words. Single word names are pretty uncommon and so I've actually have had some pretty good luck in getting good names from just using single words. For example, some of my characters:

    Teratron
    Pyrebolt
    Mindhunter
    Stormlancer
    Deathlancer
    Battleskull
    Hexelene
    Bodhisattva

Yeah most are really just two words joined at the hip, but you get my meaning. It's not so hard to find good names if you try a little hard, but I'm still in favor of releasing old names. There's got to be some great names out there collecting dust.

    Kheldian naming?

My PB is Sunguard, I'm very happy I managed to get that name in Freedom before anyone else snatched it up.

I'll second vehicles. It's hard to play a Natural whatever but still needing to use superpowers like flight or teleport to get around. If my mastermind's punks can get choppers why can't I? (I know it's not the same thing but you know what I mean).
  20. Is there a way to do safeguard missions from a lower level then a char's current one?

I'm interested in getting the exploration badges in the lower-level ones, especially the Stouthearted accolade; since I leveled up way to fast to do them all, I want to know if there's a way to go back and do them.
  21. Hi.

I've been trying to do a server transfer for some chars but since I use paypal to pay for my account I can't do the transfer the regular way. Is there another method?

My regular server is kind of dead now so a transfer would go a long way for me. Thanks in advance.
