Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, but considering there's an average of between 5 to 17 fatal shark attacks per year vs. 23 to 75 Million Sharks killed by humans every year, I think it is obvious who is top predator here.
  2. I would be delighted to see the video of Captain Mako eating Woofers.
  3. And then, when the smoke clears, they/it is taken out by a newcomer: The Internet.
  4. You know what I'd love to see? A no-holds barred, manipulation war between Radio and Television...unless of course, they are actually the same person/entity... >.> .... <.< .... >.> ... which would make the whole fight even more interesting when it was discovered.
  5. I certainly hope this "Jumping the Shark" doesn't live up to its normal meaning.

Those who have no idea what I'm referring to, see: http://tinyurl.com/jumpingtheshark
  6. Having issues with the Twitch.tv app. Can't find the Paragon Studios Channel. Seems like it has a list of 24 Games (even Runecraft) but no Paragon Studios, No City of Heroes, No COH, COH Freedom, Freedom or any amalgam thereof.

Maybe it's just me. Anyone else?

I totally agree. I can't imagine the server load being increased by that much. And the possibilities would be staggering.

Next I would open up a different set of auras (normal and path) for each 'stance'. Different auras for non-combat, combat, flying combat, flying non-combat, etc. Would love to be able to use some of the subtler auras for the non-combat look but the flashier ones when fighting without elaborate binds and using up a couple costume slots. I could also see using separate auras for flying and not flying for some concepts. Not sure how much more load on the server this would be. There would only be the one set of auras going at a time, just a matter of switching based on the stances. But I don't know the code and SCR may apply but that's my wish list.
Now that would probably be tricky. However, I have noticed that this seems to be something a lot of people want, namely: to be able to have one aura for combat, and one aura for non-combat. It would allow for more diversity and imagination, and it would at least, add more individuality amongst the player costume designs.

Its also very similar to what happens when you use the Celestial Costume Pieces. Anyone notice that when you color it, (even linking all colors) the colors of the shoulder, belt, and boots is slightly off? I mean, you can unlink to get it closer, but closer is all you can get. It always seems a bit off.

Why not? I figure, at the very least, it'd allow for a little more customization and individuality for the players. And what keeps the players happy, keeps the company paid, right?

True, many do, but some of it looks good and some of it doesn't. I love the body effect of lightning, but the eye effect? Not so much a fan. Plus we have all these awesome path auras, but they don't effect anything but the path. A lot of my character's faces are designed in such a way that the aura eyes at least give it the impression of having eyes. Leaving it out makes them look...empty. Plus, wouldn't it be interesting to see the ways that people mix and match these? I mean, I've seen what people can do with what we have now. I just think we could go even further with this.

Maybe if you posted some other time than between the hours of Sunday after midnight and Monday afternoon when most people are ending their weekend and going to work/school. Most people don't surf the web whenthey are sleeping, and it's rare when an employer/teacher allows people to goof off on computers.
Yeah, I get that. Though the only reason I said that was because this thread was started 5 months ago and at the time had about 4 posts.

That aside, I hope they consider this option. I mean, art/graphics-wise shouldn't be so much a problem (well, duh, they already have that down) though the coding might be...

That aside, I'd love to see some more auras.

Here's some ideas: Nature path aura. As the character moves, the ground cracks and flowers and grass grow from the cracks. Its kinda similar to the earthquake one, but with a 3 dimensional addition. When the character is standing still, make grass grow from the cracks, and a different hued moss grow over the character from the feet up, slowly.

Another Path aura idea: Sonic Aura. Remember Bullet Time? I'd like to see something like that, but instead of bullets, lets have people warping the air where they pass.

  12. I love the idea of making a robot with monstrous robot claw legs. But I've noticed that if you do that, to keep the color scheme going, you pretty much have to stick to black and grey. Shouldn't the claw legs be color customizable too?

That being said, should anyone else have any thoughts on color customization, please put it down here so the rest of us can chip in too in one place.

Can't wait to hear what everyone thinks of.
  13. A Bludgeoning weapon. And the ability to choose what kind (ii.e. Hammer, baseball bats, or common household objects made in ridiculous size, such as a giant spoon).

I also have another suggestion. I know it's going to sound crazy but hear me out: Seriously customizable auras.
The ability to combine 3 auras into one custom aura. On each aura, you could customize the color as well as location. To make sense though, eyes could not use other auras. I.e. the first aura in the customization that affects the eyes will be the only one to affect the eyes. And then you could do it in such a way that you could combine thunderhead with cloud and lightning path, thus making a true thundergod aura. Just a thought.
  15. It's probably been said, but I'd like to add some requests

1.Custom, roaming base NPCs for the SGs. It would not only add more life to the base, but would make visiting a SG base more inviting overall. Plus, NPCs such as an inspiration vendor, or a Black-Market/Wentworth vendor would make it so that no matter whether you are in the base or in the main maps, you'd be able to access the Market.

2.The no-ceiling option would be cool, though I'd also love to see more general options for the ceilings.

    3. Custom Base Posters. Imagine how awesome it would be if any new recruit to your SG could walk in and see pictures of the Top-SG Members.

    4. Custom Base Statues. Another idea, creating a statue of a character in some pose, with whatever they'd like as the plaque, would be wicked sweet.

    5. Doors, Doors, More Doors. But actual functional doors. Not Doors that are actually immobile panes of glass that clutter up and block access to various parts of the base.

    6. A base bulletin board with SG restrictions for posting. Perhaps sub-posts, so that different leaders with different responsibilities can make separate posts.

    7. Finally, I would love to see a Public Address like system. Something you could set for proximity that would make announcements and proclamations, as we've seen in Trials, would be killer.

Thank you for hearing me out.
  16. I would think this whole "Loyalist vs. Resistance" would be, at least on a fundamental level, about how much freedom one should have. In a sense, I kinda think of (bear with me) demolition man. In the future, the world is ruled with absolute authority and morality. Their resistance wanted the freedom to do whatever the hell they wanted.

It seems like more of the same on that note. The very idea of "the Tyrant" burns the sensibilities of most of us, as it has seen so many parallels in the real world (India vs. Great Britain, The American Colonies vs. Great Britain) and in fiction (V for Vendetta, Demolition Man, Running Man, Nineteen Eighty-Four). If you find that many of the players villify "The Tyrant," remember where they are coming from. A couple of quotes from history: "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom - go from us in peace. We ask no your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Benjamin Franklin
