    What I did say, and what I do mean, is that possessing the Thugs set, for example, should not allow you to create Robots or Zombies or Bunnies (actual bunnies)... because those things are not Thugs. A character can do whatever he wants with his character and his concept, but a thing is a thing is a thing. A rock does not get called a telephone, because, well, it's a ROCK!
    A bunny that holds you up at gun point is still a thug...lol

  3. Saints going all the way! This Saturday will mark the first time we've had our starting secondary (Greer, Porter, Sharper and Harper) since nearly week 10, you know when we were winning by average of 17pts a game! I think the cards got a bit lucky against the pack too and are the perfect team for the saints to get their swagger back against before taking on the winner of Minnesota/Dallas for a trip to the Super Bowl!

  4. Reminds me of something that happened at one of my programmer meetings before. We were demoing some functionality of our website to the owners when a strange error page popped up. It had notes on it that were typed very hastily by a programmer that read.

    "You have two choice". Then it proceeded to give you the reason you were getting the error and the other reason isn't something I can type in an open public forum if you know what i mean."

    Needless to say the meeting was over and everyone laughed themselves to death over that. This was a live page that had been up a few months so some people probably had seen the error before hehe..
  5. I'm hoping that we get some sort of natural "Combat Manipulation" secondary. A hybrid of martial arts and like traps or devices, maybe even a tad bit of super reflexes stuff.
    If you look, all of the blaster secondaries have melee attacks in it so it would make sense to have one that natural blasters could choose that would allow you to mix it up.

    Something like this would rock:

    1: Web Grenade
    2: Storm Kick
    3: Targeting Drone
    4: Dragon's Tail
    5: Focus Chi
    6: Agile (the Super Reflexes passive, with AT modifier)
    7: Pistol Whip (Close AoE Stun..sort of like Electric Manipulations Thunder Clap)
    8: Dodge
    9: Eagle's Claw

  8. There is no telling what this will look like. It'll probably show a tarrot card over your head like the paper/scissors/rock thing.

    I was just hoping we'd get something wizardly like wand you use to banish the Lost with from the Midnighter's arc.
  9. I like this set a lot. I'm a bit surprised by the power , I hope it uses a wand or staff or something in its animation, that is sort of what I was hoping to see.

  11. I played this adventure. It is extremely well written and you'll find yourself well into it when the big "Surprise" hits you. I actually ran into some sort of bug after playing it for a while and being unable to continue but I think Lord Xenite probably has that worked out.
  12. Will we get the use of props? Like tanks, cars and debris that you see in certain missions?

    The mage stuff sounds very interesting and I simply can't wait to see a screen shot or two of it. I have several magic themed characters that need some arcane lovin. I'm hoping we see another power in this one. And what are the chances we'll get an arcane rune combat aura?
  16. The only thing I can't understand is that with Warhammer coming up and big time super-hero competition looming..the one thing that might keep people from deactivating their accounts while they try them out (and they will try them out) is given the least amount of thought.

    I just don't get that. It seems like with just 2 secs of work they could port over a group of temp weapons like the iron sword and the bow from the Croatoa, the craftable temp power pistol , etc and give us a choice of a cool thematic weapon that everyone can use.
  17. I like the inclusion of the vet helms. But I really wish they had just added two new powers to choose from. Honestly why not a Shotgun/Pistol/Bow/Sword..something that would honestly add a lot of flavor to a character?

  20. Stunning news! Very very interesting. I doubt we'll see a lot we can do with it at first but if it proves popular maybe we'll be able to create characters or villain groups for players to go up against down the road. That would rock!
  21. I mainly grouped but in the old days a storm defender had a lot of trouble getting groups because there were so many bad stormies so I did my fair share of soloing as well. This build really doesn't take off until the late game though when you get all of the pets for the spamming techniques so soloing can be slow.
