    Where did you get these numbers? To clarity, I'm not doubting them. It's just that I've been trying to figure out how much -regen diagmagnetic applies and I can't find it in the combat log and the description of it is fail.
  2. I feel that it does take too long to summon and that it does take way too much end. As for the 6.25% rech mentioned in one reply... this is a blaster we're talking about. Posi's and Deci's all have the same bonus...remember the rule of 5. Anyhow I feel that the dmg it does is pretty decent. It can also serve to take some of the heat off of you if you're solo or on a small team. If only it did have the two problems I mentioned before then it wouldn't be bad at all. Cut the summoning time and end cost in half and it would be a step in the right direction of "fixing" /dev.

    Oh also I can see that this is an old post but I don't believe that the drone can be summoned more than once now. Even if the recharge is up and I summon another the existing one explodes.
  3. Firstly, I made this guy when I knew hardly anything about CoX. I'm still not an expert but I've learned a bit and experienced the shortcomings of Dev.

    It was mostly a concept thing to take /dev. I'm sure most people take it for that reason. Anyhow I'm trying to figure a way to salvage it. I like the toon, but I'm just not sure if it's viable. I thought that I might be able to soft cap Ranged, Smashing and Lethal before I put him back into Mid's. After doing so, I can't seem to figure out how to soft cap Ranged OR S/L.

    Two questions:
    1) Am I missing something? Can soft capping R/S/L be done with this build?
    2) If it's not possible to do so, is this still a playable toon in the high end of CoX?

  5. So I've only had CoH/V for a month now. I really enjoy the DP/Dev concept. I'm playing with some friends that have been playing for years and am at the point where everything is Malta, Nemesis, and the like. I have Mid's but I can't seem to fit all of the information needed to do this into my poor lil broken brain. I don't really care much about the powers in /dev except for maybe caltrops, cloak, and the two drones. I was thinking munitions for the concept...if I had to I'd go with something else for MOAR DEFENSE though.

    Any help you can give would be most appreciated. If you can get me positional soft capped or close enough to be able to pop a purple before large crazy pulls and not tasting the floor the whole time it would be fantastic. Play with the powers as you wish but keep in mind I"M DP/Dev and at lvl 37, so I'd rather not reroll entirely for another secondary.
