    Two things...

    1. I always love the see that wide variance in age artists give him (for me, I always pictured him as 40).

    2. That secdon shot has an ... interesting... feel to it.

lmao *cleans sprayed soda off of keyboard and monitor*

Good point on the age thing Juggs, I thought it was just me at times when he looked a younger/older than I thought him to be.

Always cool to see a fight against someone a big name.

I always intended Comrade Hero to be a late comer to the hero game. His powers didn't activate until he was in his thirties. He was a regular Joe before that. A test pilot, cosmonaut, and aeronautical engineer.

Comrade Hero doesn't age now - so he's stuck in his mid to late 30's. Initially he felt a little out of place interacting with more experienced heroes who were half his age and had been heroes (and villains) since their teens. Again a deliberate decision for RP reasons

Comrade Hero feels a little worse for wear after taking a nuclear strike in the face
  3. Comrade Hero vs. Black Adam by Gammaknight

Black Adam has become one of favorite anti-hero/villains every since his rampage through WWIII. Only fair to pair him up against my favorite City of Heroes character.

Finally got an old Comrade Hero piece colored as well:

Comrade Hero 2 Colored by Gavinslayer

    Enjoy

    Freedom Phalanx

I can't believe Sister Psyche hooked up with Manticore. Here's hoping Manticore trips over his own arrows

    Freedom Phalanx

Very nice, although it looks like Baby BaB must have been feed on Dr. Aeon's Partially-Gelatinated Nutripaste-Enhanced Baby Formula (no added preservatives).

    Creative Funk

I don't understand why they revisited the Clone Wars. Blerg.

Hey Todd, I find if I hit a funk - writing in my case - then I turn to some of the old PnP RPG material and create new characters (the Fuzion LifePath is a blast to use) or scan through the forums of SuperiorPics.com to see which tasty actress or actor would fulfill the boots of my heroes and villains if they were to be in my own movie
  7. That's really nice work, thanks for sharing
  8. Fantastic - can't way to see that colored

She's pretty frickin incredible, the Last Avatar is HOT!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I tend to choose human avatars (no pun intended) to act as a guide for the face and body of my heroes and villains.

Last Avatar happened to be the uber-cute April Scott. (and no - Last Avatar was created before a certain bald headed little air bender came on the scene)
  15. Hi all,

Just wanted to draw your attention to Sanjana Baijnath's deviantArt site Journal.

Sanjana is currently offering limited commissions and I highly recommend her if you want a realistic take on your heroes and/or villains.

These are pieces Sanjana has done for me.

    Albtraum
    Comrade Hero
    Graviton Girl
    Last Avatar
    War Bride

Comrade Hero is a bonafide Communist/Socialist but he's not a political hot potato as such

Comrade Hero and Colossus battle it out over whose broken Russian-English accent is more cheesier.

  20. Iron Chancellor isn't exactly steampunk per se, more like from the Age of Steam.

The original Iron Chancellor was Duke Aleksander Dieter, one of a handful of costumed European ‘Mystery Men’ who bravely opposed the diabolical schemes and machinations of the archvillain Nemesis, the Prussian Prince of Automatons, during his reign of terror in Europe over 150 years ago.

The Iron Chancellor used his amazing mentalism powers and mastery of the mysterious ‘shadow ether’ to battled Nemesis forces whenever they threatened the safety of his beloved Austria.

With the apparent re-emergence of Nemesis during the 20th Century the Iron Chancellor has returned to do battle once more. It is unknown whether this incarnation of the Iron Chancellor is the original Duke Dieter, or a new costumed hero assuming the mantle and powers of the original Iron Chancellor.

But whoever this costumed hero is, the forces of Nemesis should beware.

The Iron Chancellor has returned with a vengeance!
