No, it doesn't. But when a person says something that is wrong, ignorant, biased, whatever they also don't need to be jumped on by twenty people daily for the same thing over and over again. It seems silly to label the one comment as being drama and to ignore the twenty comments that follow and won't let it die as being something else.
That is what I am sick of when it comes to these threads. I don't see Felecia doing anything different than the people who comment simply to swear at her. If people are telling Fel to shut up, why is no one telling the others to do the same? I am not a member of AoW, I don't know Felecia well enough to say if I dislike her or not, but double-standards are easily spotted and they tend to piss me off.
If you're so sick o' comin' to these threads, stay out o'em. That's like gettin' pissed off at watchin' the news. You've got no one but yourself to blame for subjectin' yourself to it.
As for the double-standard, I'm not entirely sure I see it. Then again, I wish everyone would just shut up. But you don't see me tellin' anyone to do it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and we all know what they say 'bout those.

But that is part of the problem. "Taking care of troublemakers" seems to mean attacking anyone who doesn't fit the nice and easy stereotypes that the most vocal seem to prefer (only excusing themselves and their friends from having to behave decently, of course.) I seem to remember a lot of claims about "server elite" and "forum celebrities" a while ago, but it does seem that some people can do no wrong, while others make their mistakes and have it held over their heads forever.
Personal vendettas shouldn't have a place or be excused, and both sides of a disagreement should have to own up for their responsibility. There is no single "bad guy" even in this thread, but people certainly are acting as though there were. -
