Ok, so I went with BS/SD. Im currently sitting on lvl 12 and I got to say I'm loving it. Now I dont want any builds as I like to try and build my own toon, but a quick question. What would you try to build towards? Melee def, ranged, fire, cold? I want to be able later on to up my difficulty as high as I can get it, since like I said earlier I solo alot more then teaming. Thanks again all for any help.

I just came back from about a yr away from the game and really want to roll a scrapper as I have never had one past lvl 10 or so. I wanted either bs/sd or bs/sr but was wondering which was basically more fun as I solo 95% of the time. I have enough inf to make either one a "monster" but which has more potential to be that "monster" ? Thanks for any help!!

Sorry just got back after a break yesterday and I forgot the day for maintenance. But its good to see the server status page is right on top of things.

The server status page is showing me that all the servers are up but when I logg in, all the servers are showing three grey circles and I cant get in. Is this happening to anyone else ?

Wow thanks alot for all the great info everyone. Me and my friends defenitaly have some thinking to do. After looking over all this we have even thought maybe we wont be all Doms? Might try to find just a "superteam" of 3 toons that work well together And since AV's will be a challenge Im thinking I will roll a fire/psi for the -regen -rech, just got to find 2 other AT's that will work well.Also to Deacon, my friends and I just plan on running the SF's as they come up. We have just been gettin kinda bored and this team is just a team to run with, have fun and do alot of the arcs, and SFs we usually dont do. The 4th memeber for the SFs isnt a big deal I got a good SG that someone will help us start and then jump off. Hey all, me and 2 friends are wanting to make 3 Doms to team together all the time. We would like to try some SF's if its possible with just the 3 of us. My question is does anyone have any opinions on what kind of Doms may be able to accomplish this or is it even possible for 3 Doms to do most of the SF's. I know this is prbably asking a bunch of u guys but I figured this would be the best place to ask. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hey all, I've been playin cox for 45 months now but I'm more of a villains kinda guy so I don't have any scrapper, so I've been wanting to make one . I decided to look around the forums to see what looked good and decided to try out dm/invuln. But as I was looking around I keep seeing the "pylon challenge" and was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what that is? Also are there any other types of "challenges" out there? And lastly would dm/invuln be able to accomplish these challenges? Thanks ahead of time for any infor for this scrapper noob .

Also I would really like a Dom when it comes to pvp. I have a grav/fire sitting on the shelf for the past yr and a half or so who never gets any play time, but I loved lvl'n. I was wondering if this set would be viable in pvp if I started dumping Inf on it or is it not worth the time or Inf to IO him out for pvp? Thanks in advance for any help or opinions on this. I thought that I read your guide completely but I cant find if you listed how much recharge is necessary to get PA perma?

Thanks a lot for the link, its probably one of the best guides I have read for any AT be it villain or hero. Thanks also for taking the time to write this up for hero noobs like me lol it answered so many of the questions I've had for this toon.

So I rolled a ill/rad a few days ago and I gotta say wow, I've have some toons that were a grind before but this toon was ridiculous!! I just dinged 34 and god I was never so happy to get a power as I was when I got my Phantasm. Also I was never so happy to get three slots then at 33 when I could throw some on him. I rolled this toon to try and solo AV's and try GM's since I don't have any toons that can do it. Now let it be known I've been playin for 3 yrs and this is my only hero so my question is what am I trying to build my troller for to take down AV's and GM's, recharge? Recovery? Def maybe? I figure at 35 is when I'm going to start looking at sets. Thanks for any help in advance.

Also on the official patch notes page it says Villian TF Minimum team is 4 but on this thread its listed as 6?? Which is it?

Quick comment, Dont ask me " What are you waiting for, jump in and start playing" before the servers are up so I could actually jump in and start playing.

Well I decided to try earth/fire and see how I like this combo. Any one have any negative or positive thoughts on it?

Hey all, like the heading says I'm just looking for something new. I've gotten away from farming so fire/psi is out. I think I'm looking for a set that's more of a pvp toon, zone or arena. I haven't been able to keep up with whatever is happening to the Dom AT so I was wondering what a good set would be. I have a ton of inf so I'm not really worried about getting sets or anything. I'm just getting tired of using my brute for pvp so looking for a change. Any ideas anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.
