I didn't see any reason to change the original bio but CR mentioned wanting to do a "post accident" costume so I went that route. First we start with the physical trauma of being immersed in arctic silver.
As you can see Dr. Silver has had quite an ordeal. His lowered body temperature is freezing moisture in the air to his skin. Skin which is already on fire trying to cope with the relative intense heat of room temperature. In desperation the good doctor seals himself in a hastily constructed containment suit allowing him to gradually increase the temperature within the suit as he became more adept at controlling his abilities.
Finally I decided I was having so much fun that I did an upgrade to the original costume. I feel like it puts a modern spin on the original costume without sacrificing the core look of the character. I left in a couple of pieces from the containment suit because I like the idea that the final costume is just a progression from the containment suit. I especially like the way the goggles, hood, gloves and boots give it kind of an arctic parka feel. I apologize for the small images but Photobucket always seems to shrink them for some reason.
This was a lot of fun! Hope y'all like it!

I really the like pre-final "physical trauma" and "containment suit" too.
I may go ahead and make his third suit all metalic skin and radiating cold tendrils like the trauma shot as well. Great job!
Let's see what I can come up with for yours now.

Hmm well I do have chicks with green skin (even a new one I will be posting today) and male Trolls with green skin (clicky the sig button) but no trollups as of yet.
That is a fine piece by John Printemps, great work on the varying shades of green in the skin tone.
Now I'm curious to see the "other trollup" Jophiel took down. 0.o

As much as I would like to see Caemgen there he is right in saying the events shouldn't be moved to
accommodate any one person (with the possible exception of you since your running it... or me cuz I'm
awesome like that) it should be set for the masses at a time when the most people can attend and
we get a good turn out... which I will then proceed to crush and dominate Mwhah...haha... errr ummm

There's so many colors in this outfit that it's causing clashes and is kind of an eyesore. I would suggest trimming it down to 3 major colors and then use a potential 4th for a detail or two. Generally you have to get people to use more than two, but in this case, the sheer amount of them is making the outfit lose it's coherence.
2-3 colors max for the bulk of it with black, white, grey or gold for a 3rd (or 4th) color on accent pieces is all you need.

Zombies might make it interesting as you wouldn't be able to stop and ponder how to get around
a mob without one growing under your feet... but they come up pretty slow, I think you would be
long gone by then but hey anything that adds to the chaos mwhahaha. -

Any evening from 7pm to midnight would work fine for me.
I can be on earlier on later as well if needed unless I'm doing a
custom computer build (repairs can be shuffled around but I run
a tight 2 day schedule with builds), just let me know when and I'll find the time
Also for those that haven't set up test yet use the official method linked by Py in the above post... the shortcut Dark Ether is describing (which I've done many times myself to cut the time from 2-3 hours down to less than 10mins) is currently bugged, if you copy to the default place the Updater errors out and if you let it chose the folder and then interrupt it and copy over the files to circumvent the error it will run a quick 5 min cheksum but instead of going right into the test server after that it will rewrite every file over again any way making it take even longer... I verified this on two separate machines today cuz I was going to post detailed instructions on how to do it the quick way.

1. Pyro Nympho - Any Day / Any Time - Lives in Central Time Zone
2. Starwind - Any Day (not 10/13 - 10/16) / after 7:30pm Central (lives in Eastern timezone) - photographer

4. Pirate Cashoo - Any Day / Any Time
5. Caemgen - Crazy schedule/ wait and see
6. Eddy Swan Fridays and Weekends - Any Time /Other days early morning only (lives on the other side of the planet)

Arr that be a fine Pirate sketch matey.
If I might suggest a few things that would make it even better I would say...
the ears one is a bit low and the other a bit high... an easy way to make them look "right"
is if you use the outer-most point of the eye and mouth. This works on most any face, you
can even do it on yourself if you put a finger and thumb at the corner of your eye and lips
and trace it back you will touch the top and bottom of your ear.
the eyes, they need to be a bit closer together. They should be the width of one eye apart.
Also the irises don't match... the one on the right is better so I would make the dark inner
circle on the left eye bigger to match the one on the right.
the lips, the left side slopes down a bit just raise the corner up a bit and it should be fine.
the chest, the breasts should jut forward a bit more (well if it's to be a super rack anyways)
the rest looks pretty good, nice job.

I have a copy of the Prehistory of the Farside (the one with the Dinosaur skeleton on the cover) that my dad bought me a few years back lol funny stuff.
I actually pictured Lusca talking until I read Caemgen's post... but I think it's actually funnier if it's the other inmate doing the talking.

Anyway, I figure some just don't want to be bothered, some are too afraid of embarassing themselves (they haven't seen mine yet?), some can't think of anything to sketch (Dude, just grab any image from Paragon wiki and take a crack at it!) and some kinda, maybe think they'll take a crack at it but haven't gotten around to it yet...

they are just quickie (and who doesn't like an occasional quickie? ...sketch that is) sketches
that anyone can do... if someone is worried about their people drawing skills there are categories
like "Shields" or "Malta" or "insert zone name" or "what you want for i18" where no anatomy skillz are needed.

Good to see new people but I've tried a lot of the threads and most I tried ended up going to dead links...with a CoX message of all things.

As for the game that shall remain nameless I was in the beta from early on but it has a long ways
to go if it is ever to pull me away from CoH.

Another thing you can do is introduce yourself in this thread here.
Also comment on any threads that have art in them... see something you like? Let the artist know.
Some artists like constructive criticism as well but it varies across the board so look into threads
by the artist and see if others have left con/crit and what the response was or just ask. The
more you participate in stuff the better.
P.S. If you want to jump in on something there is a thread called The Hot Pencil where people
post quick 5 min sketches and then choose a new subject to pass on... it is here.
