It seems silly to continue to pay for a game you're not enjoying in hopes of learning more about upcoming content. The news will come regardless of whether your account is active, and the game will still play the same regardless of whether news has been released or not. Of course, if you're like me and still enjoying the game, then by all means enjoy.
That being said, yes, I'm awaiting news on Going Rogue with baited breath. Today my breath is baited with turkey. -

I'm not against the idea of getting puzzles in the game per se, but this is a superhero-themed MMO. Any puzzle would have to fit within that theme. A Riddler-style or Sphinx-style supervillain would fit in wonderfully. A Tetris minigame or eight level tower of Hanoi would not. -
* PvP has been revamped once again. Now, heroes and villains entering PvP zones will only have access to one power: the Care Bear Stare.

* PvP has been revamped once again. With the success of super sidekicking, the devs now introduce "super travel suppression". Characters entering PvP combat will not only have their travel powers suppressed, but their movement suppressed as well. There is a bug that causes characters in combat to be teleported to a point about 5 yards apart. The devs promise to fix this bug right after they get done fixing the Cathedral of Pain trial. -

I actually have an Assault Rifle blaster of mutant origin. That's because he was born with low level telepathy, i.e. Mental Manipulation is his secondary. I'm also planning a magic origin dual pistols corrupter. And that's because she's a semi-divine spirit who's possessed a gun toting operative, and she has solar powers (thermal radiation secondary). We get two powersets. Sometimes one is more relevant to our origin than the other.

The next one is 99.94% certain to be mutant-themed. And I seem to recall a dev suggesting that number of animal-like monster heads would likely be included in such a pack, though plans could certainly have changed between now and then.
And why am I suddenly thinking there might be some Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends inspired costume change animations? Eh. Just crazy speculation on my part. -
