ok.. so Ya.
I saw something that irked me. We had a hami raid today and a person decided that since they raid all the time and know whats up that they didnt have to participate with the rest of us and pref to sit on safe rock and dictate it was being done wrong bla bla bla.
Listen.. we're all from a differnt serever and have our own ways of doing things.. I get it. However. Wouldnt the considerate thing be to follow the direction that is being given by the person hosting the event? If you've done them so many times and know whats up, why dont you take it upon yourself and perhaps lead 1 yourself and then you can direct us.
We did some teaming tonight with players from a couple other servers and it was fun seeing how they do it. I think we all learned a new trick or 2.

we did a monster hunt after and gatherd well over 100 eoes ( i know thats just what a few ppl gave me to drop off) so, we should be good if hami spawns early like this week

What i DO like about this server is that people arent burt out (yet) on RWZ or Hami Raids (like on Champion.. with good reason mind you)
Hami raiding was and still is 1 of my favorite things to do. Its fun seeing the enthusiasm this server has. A lot, and I mean a lot of people that are playing here havnt been part of raiding and have enjoyed doing so.
I love champion, it will always be my home, but, everyone there is burnt out on them.. of course having them ran 3xs a week didnt help.
Plus i scored the name "Cherry".. so ya.

Ive not seen any of this. Ive only encounterd really nice people that have gone out of their way to be helpful and supportive.
The hami raid that was held last Saturday was clear evidence of this.

I was wondering, what was needed? It says above some change alts to cover missing AT's. A shortage of scrappers? Or something else.
I'm bringing a tank up but could use my transfer to bring whatever.
To be honest tho, by the time the zone was full, we were pretty stacked.

We ran a hami raid lastnight and used BMT of Exalted and Exalted Events to advertise in. We filled the zone and rocked the raid and it didnt take forever. The same can be said for the RWZ raid @Celestial Lord held. With that being said, Im sure a lot of it was word of mouth going around.. thats also how this channel thing will sort out..
I am a mod in both, however i didnt create either. I've seen them both pretty active and would have a hard time saying which should go. I'm not in any of the other global channels in Exalted so I couldnt comment on their activity. I do agree tho there are too many channels and it splits the servers community.
We're dealing with people from different servers that are use to their own ways.. this was made clear during lastnights Hami Raid. There were numerous people that were vocal about how it was being done (both openly in league and in tells). In the end tho, everyone listened to how we do it and they came together and it went really well. Those same people that were questioing how it was being done in the end were plesantly surprised at both the speed and the limited deaths.
I think its just a matter of waiting and seeing and letting everyone make up their own minds -
way to rock the 1st raid on the new server everyone.. very cool run the 1st shot at it... lots of diff servers and sg's pulled it together.. *claps*
special shout to Jagged Legion for switchin it up and fillin the holes where needed!
Im going to add this as an on-going event at this same time each week. 7 pacific, 10 eastern on Saturday Nights.
Times and details will be added to the exalted events and bmt of exalted channels..

My home server is Champion, better known as the "drama server". There, Im known as Cherry. All my toon names have some form of Cherry in them and all look the same. Her back story is that she has MPD and depending on the situation (read, whatever we are doing at the time) changes into whatever hero/vil is needed.. truth be told, its just been easier keeping the same toon with the same look, im not terribly creative with costumes and such
Im more of a social player, not so much of the omgimgonnawreckurface player. I like to organize and run fun events for the server (drop ship challenge myself and @fanged knight hosted on Champion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO8tbKvto1I) {there is 1 in the works for this server too, with red name assistance!]. I managed to get "Cherry" on this server, so, i will play here time to time and run events here too, but, Champion will always remain my home server.
My signature at the bottom pretty much sums it up. I look forward to meeting new people and playing with old friends too that have moved toons here as well.

we need to condense the 1s we have already. All this is accomplishing is dividing the server even further making it even more difficult to get thing organized and publicized.
As an event organizer its incredibly frustrating having 50 thousand channels to advertise in. -
