and no. tanker tuesday isnt the only major event. we have events nearly every night.

Task Force Tuesdays is goin on 2 years strong. We have 3 hami raids a week, a mother ship raid on thursdays, an all rad team event on fridays and an lords of war event on saturdays. Granted tanker tuesdays is still goin strong, however it is only 1 night a month.

Check the sticky's.. we have a Champion Events Calendar with the dates and times of all events. We also just launched C.A.P.E.. a Champion Server only events association... also in the sticky section of the forums.

As far as what people have gone for in the past:

Last year (under perc) Champion players and Red Names auctioned off to the tune of 29.4 billion. Red names obviously went for more.

As far as you bidding on someone that has you on gignore: Well, thats on you pretty much at that point if you want to take the risk. All players have to be agreeable. Last year (under perc) there were several issues that arose from people being won by people they didnt like or being told/asked/made to do things they didnt want to do or refused to do.

Since this is now being hosted by C.A.P.E we have a bit more control over issues that arise. It is our hope that people play nice and act like adults. Both parties HAVE to be agreeable. You cant "force" anyone to do anything. If you want, for example, Celestial Lord to pvp with you for 4 hours, he has to agree.

The only instance where a player doesnt have much of a choice it would be for Jonnie Neutron and Horus. They both signed up knowing they would have dress like pink fluffy bunnies and stand under atlas for 4 hours dance06'ing

C.A.P.E. is pleased to invite all Champion Players to our inugural "Community Service" in Pocket D. This is C.A.P.E.'s very first fundraiser, and it will help us cover the costs of hosting and supporting various community events throughout the year on Champion. We invite everybody out to this once-a-year event.

KJSR.net Radio Show Auctions:
As you may know, Dazz, Sinny, and Bacon all host radio shows on KJSR.net! They have have graciously given approval to do special auctions for their radio shows!

There are a few simple rules that MUST be followed:

-The Winner gets to choose the THEME for the show!
-The Winner gets to decide the FIRST four song semantic to be played!
-The Winner does not get to dictate how the rest of the show goes, however.
-The DJ's will announce the show a week prior and allow outside requests from all listeners via e-mail (as traditionally done on their shows).
-The Winner will be contacted by the DJ on which dates and times are available to air their special show and to discuss details.
-Winner will need to have THEME and SONG CHOICES submitted via pm shortly after the auction ends.

Terms:
Players having agreed to be auctioned off during the Community Service Auction are known as the biddees. The biddees have agreed to play FOUR hours with the highest person bidding on them. By agreeing to be a biddee, C.A.P.E. agrees to pay you 25% of your winning bid.

Players having agreed to pay influence / infamy to the auctioneers during the Community Service Auction are known as the bidders. As bidders, you agree that you have the exact amount of influence / infamy available to you, equal to the amount of your bid, at the time of the auction. As bidders you also agree that you are willing to play the game with the person that you are bidding on for the agreed upon play time.

The minimum bid for any character will be 100,000 influence / infamy.

The hours of play and what will be played will be at the sole discretion of the biddee and bidder. If a bidder wins the chance to play with a member of the opposite faction, it is the bidder's responsibility to make sure they have a character high enough to get into and participate in co-op zone story arcs. Biddee's are only required to TEAM / PLAY with the other player for FOUR hours. The types of activities must be agreed upon by both parties and deemed appropriate within reason. Biddee's cannot be asked by the winning bidder to alter their players in any way, shape, or form (i.e. icon, builds, supergroups, etc.).

C.A.P.E. and C.A.P.E. representatives will not be held responsible for any other players’ actions. If there is some kind of disagreement or impasse that is met after the money has changed hands and the bidder requests his / her money back, then it is the biddee's responsibility to pay back the amount that he or she paid (the 25%) to the bidder. The remaining 75% is non-refundable.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN AND ALL AUCTIONS MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION!

RED NAMES TO BE AUCTIONED

Red names Avatea and Beastyle, better known as Mod 05, have volunteered to be individually auctioned off.

There are VERY SPECIFIC RULES in regards to how they are going to work.

They have agreed to run for a maximum of TWO hours with the winning team of bidders. Red names hold the right to deem an activity overly long.

You will have to be flexible as to when THEY can team with you (this might mean daytime hours and no weekend hours) .

You will be able to pool your monies.

All monies earned from red name auctions will go directly into a Champion C.A.P.E. fund. C.A.P.E. will then have a series of events until all prize monies are gone.

lots of people use vent.

We also have a community vent thats used for raiding (hami raids, cop's and alike)

.. speaking of hami raids, there is 1 in a couple hours if youre so inclined to get a glimpse of us working together .

I can think of a 1/2 dozen vents that get used on a regular basis for whatever, general chit chat.. and you also get the sg's that use theirs for teams and such..

You'll find that we're a good mix of everything. You find what you want, if you look and are open.

we're 1 large sg with everyone having their own storage bases

fitness is inherent now. they gave us I think 2 or 3 respecs at that time too. 2 up front, that had to be used and the 3rd like a week or so later.

I think she was ref to amilys post about them doing hami raids on wednesdays.
