I am the reason there is a drop down emote menu. I told Back ally brawler we needed something like that. He said if I write them all up and order them, he would have it put in game. So, there it is. There was a few other little things also, but not really worth mentioning. I used to be WAY active for the first 5 years of this game. 1st level 50 stone/axe tank on Liberty, Whiteseeker .....whoohoo.

I would just buy it outright if I had that kind of money to put out. I would keep these guys working and keep the game on and running till the second coming.

Thanks Kurrent. I am going to miss the people most of all. I was hoping that this would be my 3 year olds first MMO. Whelp, guess not. To bad too, there is no other cool game like that that I trust her to play. She always had fun watching mommy and daddy play and we would let her help in making toons and picking power sets. Sometimes we would let her take the controls and fly around. Man, she loved that. Mt little one cried when we explained to her that the game was going to be no more

This was a game that the players could really make a difference in. It was cause of me that back ally brawler put emotes in the drop down menu. I suggested that they do it, and he said to me,, If you make a complete list of all the emotes and organize them he would do it. I did, and so there it was, implemented! That is just one of the things I got to help with. Gona miss being listened to.

Sadly there will most likely never be another City of Heroes/City of Villians.

If I had the money I would buy this game and keep everyone who works on it employed continuing to do so. I would do it in a heartbeat!

To all my friends on Liberty, I say farewell. I am going to greatly miss this game. I can't believe this. I thought this game would run forever, and I would have plenty of chances to every so often be VIP. I haven't had much time to play games in the past few years, but I always tried to be on here a few months out of the year. So many personal memories for me with this game. Back in the end of 2004 my step dad got me into this game when it was first released, my mother before that even. Then in 2006, I got my(at the time GF) into this game. She later became my wife. We all had so much fun spending time together playing CoH/CoV. It kept us in contact and we had so much fun together. Then in 2009 I made a thread Giving the good news about my daughter being born. On the Liberty server( it's still there...http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=130904 ...

Also, this was my 1st MMO. I was never a MMO type person, but this game....there was something about it besides being able to game with my parents and my wife. Maybe it was the excellent people that I met in game, the awesome game play, the atmosphere in game. Who knows what just the one thing was or wasn't.... So many things....

I just used a time card my dad got me way back in may 2011 haha. So, I guess i'll be in and out of the game for the next 2 months. I am soooo far behind in everything here it isnt funny. Guess i'll just mess around with some of the new content and maybe respec some of my toons. They still have the old builds when fitness wasnt inherent.

Oh, and yes, I did get notified

Pretty wild I can log into my forum account and log into the game, but they wont let me log into my main account to pay for the game. Says I cant log into it from this address or some crud. The heck if I remember my info from back in 2004...uggg

My oldest is also going to college in a few weeks(she turned 18 this past may). My children are my world, and the wife and I arent done yet. Hoping for a son one day soon to carry on the namesake.
