I'm glad you get me but you don't FULLY understand how much of a buzzsaw Earth can be.
Nightmarer can confirm this so can other members of my SG who have come with me and all have said "huh thats insane !"
To get the true feel for how much damage it can do let me tell you how many procs you can use.
18 !
Thats how many my build has in it and over half of that is in Earth and theres room for more if you have the cash.
No other set can even come close to the amount of procs Earth can hold not to mention the debuffs.
Storm works amazingly with it allowing you to herd and debuff for AoE madness without the need to use the animated stone at all.

As for my Dom which is an Earth/Elec oooooh i'm just breaking the tip of the iceberg on what she can do.

Thats not quite true.
I farm with an earth/storm controller and i get huge damage from earth alone if you build it properly.

While there are some degrees i'd go to in a PVP zone i myself do have some morals and i do try to be a good sportsman/women
TP is a useful tool and i have TP'ed people into crates full of pets in sirens before or into areas that are hard to get out from but thats just a valid tactic as everyone will try to escape but it doesn't stop people complaining.

TP while afk - well if the person is AFK in a PVP zone and is visable to everyone its thats persons fault not the TP'er.

Drone TP'ing - I'll admit i have done this in the past, i guess its a valid tactic but is abit underhanded.
Droning repeatedly i just won't do.

3rd party programs = Ban.

Having a spy on the other team is just sly and obviously just someone getting the jollys off kill who*eing.

Personaly i ignore Broadcast when in PVP zones as its just full of smack talk.

Storm is better for herding.
I herd with my Earth/storm on the demon map with just hurricane/SS to a nice corner then its just quicksand and the AoE's of mass destruction.
Takes me about 8 mins to clear a map.

Yes and No
The Chance for BU proc says its unique on it and is supposed to be a unique but at this moment in time you can slot more than 1 ( i have 3 sets in my Widow) so i'm guessing it will be patched soon.
When that happends only 1 proc will work.

Yeah i see what your saying but general feeling in the CoH community and people i've spoken to with SoA's think theres only one way to cap def and thats with ML.
Thats just incorrect.

I have to admit i do like to get my toons the best they can be before thinking about teams and no i don't totally solo i do team regularly.

For you perma Mind Link might not be that useful, since you and your teammate will have caped def anyway. However, before you start giving advice to others, you need to bear in mind that most players will have little or no +def, and will be very glad of being perma mind linked.

Thats my whole point.
People are saying 'omg omg i need perm mindlink to soft cap my def!' when really it can be capped easily without it and cheaply i might add and would be constant with ML for backup and without the need to take hasten.
Also the difference between 60% def and 45% def is ZERO this is due to NPC always having a 5% chance to hit nomatter what your def is, so once that hit lands and its -def debuff then its just a cascade effect till your def is zero.
A higher def won't stop it it willl just take 1-2 hits more before it is zero.

Basiclly folks it boils down to 2 builds
Soft capped def with ML as backup
or
ML base def with nothing in reserve (unless you take elude)

Yes theres probably other options but for a def build those are probably the best.

Becuase to perm it would take to much messing about taking powers you don't need just to get something thats easy to achive anyway (def soft cap).

Over the pond the americans are saying 3 HO's + hasten +45% global recharge just to perm ML for a fortunata.

sorry but i have def soft capped and ML as backup so to perm it is just utterly pointless and would ruin my build.
Fortunata's get the same Def as NW so they to can hit the def cap.

Actualy yes i duo'ed with a Bane to 50 with my soft capped def and with my friends manuevours i was pushing 60% def all the time and had ML to help with the casscade effect.
Didn't take elude, just didn't need it.

I used ML for the extra Psi res to but it was pointless to perm it.

IMO perm'ing mindlink is totaly worthless when NW's and Fort's can hit the def soft cap quite easily.

Just by going what people have posted so far there has been some really really good small bases proving size isn't everything.
Theres been some amazingly decorated small bases then theres been some boring as hell large bases.
I know what i'd pick given the choice and its not the large one

I've done some digging and the americans are saying to perm mindlink you need 120% recharge - for example 5 LotG,hasten and MT.

Thats the whole issue !.
There are no facts to prove or disprove it, all there is is second hand info and forum gossip not one single honest to god hard fact and you can do a forum search and whatever you want because its not mentioned anywhere.
That is the reason i wanted hard facts not hearsay and for it to be delieved in a civil manor none of this "omglol your wrong failboat!!oneone" childish remarks you so commonly see on those forums as i just ignore those remarks and the person making them.
You didn't bring any hard facts only forum gossip and a "i'm right" cocky attitude.

Yep altho now is raises the question how much recharge you would need to perm it without hasten and with the def/recharge IO's.

Yeah i've seen BaBs comments on the US forum about it and not excepting recharge IO's but apparantly hes happy with how it is at the moment, except the animation which he forgot about so it is WAI i just didn't know doubles/triples with recharge actualy effected the recharge on it as theres no offical word on it.

I can really see much on that one but i think i will bow to your better judgement.
I'll try it myself and see what results i get altho it won't really do much for my build as its at the soft cap anyway and i only use Mindlink for AV's and such.
