I'm also interested in what sort of things you'd like to add but with the current system can't because of technical issues.
Quote:There are many posts in the brainstorm forum which explain why this is a bad idea.Hi Matt
Hope this is a question you havn't encountered before.... so here goes.
Is there a chance at any point that all zones could be made into pvp zones, there are many games out there that allow characters to roam all available maps and encounter player enemies as they level.
My brother used to play a game were if you attacked another player, your name went red for "x" period of time. You could only attack players within certain level ranges of yourself, and attacking other players and getting defeated means that you dropped items and influence to the person that killed you.
While your name was red the players that attacked you had no penalty or chance of loosing anything.
I dunno what the game was called and he only explained it to me once, but it sounded fun.
Is there any chance that CoX could incorperate a similair system??
Thanks. -
There aren't really any.. Warshades are unique.
You could try a peacebringer I guess? -
Quote:I disagree, I'm pretty sure we did it on purpose as a way of mocking those who call our market habits evil. The 'b' and 'v' are adjacent on the keyboard, so it's a common typo in the angry and poorly spelled anti-market rants that appear from time to time. I don't think the original posters did it on purpose, unlike l33t haxxor speak, in which the misspellings are deliberate.
Marketeers co-opted the term and use it with a mix of pride and mockery. -
Hmm... I guess that'd be my Ill/Rad? She's my go-to for TFs anyways. Funny thing is, I don't like illusion at all and in fact find it boring.

Quote:Runs out? Is there a wonderful inf sink on the way I don't know about? Inf takes far too long to destroy as is.It may well boost a price spike until the pre-accumulated inf runs out.
Quote:Until this post, I had only ever seen "ebil" used before "marketeering", so I assumed it was short for "e-billing" or something similar and was a reference I did not get. Now I realize it's ignorant haxxor speak that I did not get. Thank you for your enlightenment.
Quote:1 thousand inf isn't even pocket change to a 50, even the guy with zero market skills vendors IO recipes for 100 thousand each.
I've managed to overcome my inner Scotsman, at least about salvage. I'm overjoyed to leave bids up and get a bargain for a purple recipe (only 65 million!) but I'm not going to creep-bid on common salvage to craft the thing. -
We need a new who's who in the market thread.
As my signature says I'm 531,337
If it's less than millions its not worth signing -

Unless you're buying the numina and miracle in health with merits your budget won't cover all your IOs.

Melee sets will continue to hold steady. I expect Crushing Impacts to go up a bit even though the current rage is soft capping everything. I expect hold sets to experience a slight rise.
Also for Electric Control, I expect a decent rise in the chance for stun proc in the Endurance Modification sets.
I expect LoTGs to go up a bit because people will be running new content with no guarantee that it will provide merits.
Feel free to act on my guesses, it's not like sharing them will make me lose profit -
Congrats on the Win GhoulSlayer!
That was a pretty cool experiment Fury Flechette. -

787M
if that's taken I'll take the nearest million available rounding up. -

Quote:Quite so, Killing a level 2 AV at level 1 is incredibly boring and time consuming. removing this boring farm would be quite nice indeed. That's not a user problem, that's an interface problem.
Players are gonna do what they do regardless of what we post on the forums. Why else would all the various schemes and plans exposed here over the years STILL WORK?
The solution is improving MA's search functionality, not complaining about what people post on the forums.
I was traipsing through Atlas last night and people were spamming broadcast for "ugly man" teams and "punching bag" farms.
I have no idea what these things are, but I am positive that my mentioning them here does the game no great harm. -
I am anxiously looking forward to GR for the ridiculous profits it will bring me. Even more so with a merged market.
Demand, meet Supply. -
Quote:Good catch! As for Ling Rad, one suggestion would be Acc/Slow and EndRdx/Rech/Slow from Tempered Readiness. That makes it a fraction of a second away from being perma, and gives you 1.5% Recovery. The Accuracy isn't quite as high as I would like, but you really, really need the Recovery.
I'd move that slot from Psi Tornado to Indomidible Will for more Recharge. It will shorten the recharge of that power from 131 seconds to 113. That's a big difference.
Your build also seems to have a spare level 9 slot. You could put a Hold in Char, or the Chance for Build Up from Decimation in Char.
I like the recharge in IW idea, and I actually thought of that soon after I posted.
I decided on the hold slot into Char as suggested.
Quote:You're doing an awful lot of expensive frankenslotting there. Your Maneuvers and Psi Tornado slotting in particular don't make much sense to me, when you could be getting pretty nice set bonuses there.
Not really seeing the need for the standard heal IO in heal, either.
If you are interested, here is the fire/rad build that I recently (almost) finished. Went in a bit of a different direction from yours, but maybe it will be helpful to look at.
Also dropped the ragnarok from Psionic tornado for a Dam/rech detonation
Build looks like this now;

By attempting to 'stealth' you're removing and/or delaying the biggest damage power that Fire/ brings to the table, hot feet. Perhaps if you team teleported in that'd be fine but as is you will have to re-toggle HF every time you go to another group. I... don't see that going well.
