Was good to meet Praetor Weaver last and RP a bit, for what little time I had before RL called me away.
Not sure if I'll be on tonight, as I'm hoping to go out tonight, but we'll see.

The SG's not ready YET.We have two options available:
1-All toons leave Praetoria and form an SG.This is good for lvling,but bad for RP.
2-We remain in Praetoria and use the Chat Channel as the SG.(thats my personal preference btw)
I'm good with either; option 2 meshes rather well with the other existing Praetorian group (the Praetoria United channel), as well.

I was feeling rather random one day and... nvrmd long story.
First Mate PussyWillow was one of my CoV beta chars, a MA/Ninjitsu Stalker, who got recreated on one of my less-populated servers (Pinnacle) after launch, along with her shipmates that were played by a couple of friends.
She won't be coming out, but I might try to recreate some of her costume on War Cat for Saturday. :3 -
When/If Chakamil Silverspot ever leaves Praetoria, this will probably be a good home for hir (shi's Loyalist Responsibility, and currently attired in a suit of PPD armor and RPed as an officer). Think I'll go ahead and join the new chat channel tonight.

*chuckles* Looks like War Cat's missing it again this week. Dallas Comic Con is this weekend, and after leaving that I've got a friend's birthday party to attend.

((With how new it is, I don't think anyone really knows where to go in NP to find RP. XD Might I suggest joining the global channel Praetoria United? It's a new channel intended to help Praetorian roleplayers find each other and organize things.))

Man, I remember dropping by Gemini Park a few times back in the day. Will have to try to make the next one, either as Agent Ravage or Necril.
Or maybe a real blast from the past, use an extra slot to bring back my very first character who got sacrificed to my altitis long ago but has lingered on on the Test server (allowing me to retrieve her costume): LtCmdr T'Rana, my Trek-inspired Tanker.

It's personal canon. I don't force it on anyone else, it's just how I account for it with this one particular character. And, really, for all she knows it could just be dimensional slippage - New Praetoria's dimensional coordinates slipped into where Old Praetoria's were, sort of like how the Council Empire slid into the slot once occupied by Axis Amerika until Reichsman decided to show his face again.
My other Praetorian characters (Chakamil Silverspot, Diabolesse) couldn't possibly care less. They work within the existing framework; they're just getting rerolled from Villains to actually start in Praetoria. -
Besides... it's a retcon. Retcons are temporal meddling already.

Long history with the other Praetorians. Also I think the way the AE arc was getting set up was to ally the player with Tyrant in that final mission, but I could be mistaken.

I already had about a half dozen Praetorian concepts in play. Some of them were versions of my own characters, one was of a friend's character so we could play them as rivals, and the last was of a major NPC.
Each and every one of them had their backstory blasted into non-canon oblivion by the expansion.
So what did I do? I considered the Great Praetorian Retcon to be the result of timey-wimey meddling. Somebody went back in time and killed Stefan at the Well of the Furies, and that resulted in the Praetoria we have now. Friend of mine was even writing an AE arc about it, but I don't know if he ever finished it.
When War Cat runs the newly-revised Tina Macintyre and Maria Jenkins arcs, she's going to be rather surprised that Praetoria isn't the same world she left behind... which will prompt her to return and find out what's going on (in the form of a newly-rolled alternate character, Huntress Houlihan). -
I'm in favor of using as few global channels as possible, myself... unless the devs remove the 5 channel limit. Make the channel "OOC or leaked information" - that is, if someone from one side wants to put out an RP hook of something the other side hears on a stolen radio or bugged room or something, that would also go in the channel.

I've got a couple of characters who are getting rerolled as Loyalists, and would be interested in this. Can't decide which one I'll be playing more of yet, Chakamil Silverspot (Kinetic/Energy Brute) or Diabolesse (AKA Gwenhwyfar D'Shall, Demons/Thermal Mastermind).
Also expect Huntress Houlihan (AR/DM Corruptor) to show up on the Resistance side.... -
If you contact a GM about it, they may be nice and open the Ski Chalet for you... I seem to recall they've done that for at least one player wedding in the past.

And, just to add insult to injury, she'll be wearing her Alt-Arachnos armor (before the Great Praetoria Retcon, I wrote her background as a Praetorian and member of a Resistance cell run by Stefan Richter out of the Etoille Islands; as far as I, and she, are concerned, this "new" Praetoria is the result of temporal meddling stemming from the assassination of Stefan). -
I could definitely see War Cat getting in on this. If I can get her switched over to Vigilante between now and whenever you run it (my available play time is notoriously low, plus I'm wanting to run her in the new versions of Maria & Tina's arcs), I'm in.
