"Come on guys. If you want SG mates team with them, show em what you got and maybe they'll join."
I hear this very often from new recruits of a couple 'spamming'* SGs. How do I hear this? On PuGs I ask, via tells, if they're happy with their current SG when I see it is one of the few that I know blind invite incessantly.
*: my term -
I remember when you first posted about having your artwork done and you were so happy.
I sincerely hope you are able to come back at some point and sooner than later.
Take care,
@Celestial Lad -
Going to see this Friday evening if all goes according to plan. Unfortunately, the only IMAX that was around here closed a few years ago.

Quote:Oh no you dint. Go take your dramacakes and sit in the corner... there behind the plant.
I was really hoping that was going to say Elsinore Brewery and be a scene from Strange Brew.

Welcome to Champion, Masque. Enjoy the ride.
Cheers,
@Celestial Lad -
In certain contexts I took OP to mean Original Poster or Opening Post.

Thanks Bud and the other organizers.
Gratz to the winners.
Cheers. -
I feel the same way about any event that your sg (any hosting sg, really) can participate in and potentially take the prize from participants outside of said sg.

Quote:There is some modding capability - for example, you can customize your quickchat menu, or even add new ones without modifying any of the game files {which would go against the EULA}.
That said, I'd grief to have a way to modify context menus.
Maybe you're looking for these:

Thanks Cherry and everyone else!
It was great to be back in the pit. -
While it's handy to have people on the server easily accessible via channels, I haven't really the feeling that there is an abundance of non-PuG-ness.
Do many people actually have a dissociation with PuGging? Like, do many not respond to tells asking to join a team or give an excuse if they don't recognize the name/global of the person asking? I surely don't. I'll join if I can/ am able and I'll almost always respond, regardless.
I see nothing wrong in using /sea and asking a few random people to join. Nor do I mind being asked.
As to the OP, the server has it's up and down days. There have been quite a few newbies in the last few months. If they are staying is another matter, but I see a fair number of newer accounts in the lowbie zones.
Sometimes I get a bit surprised at the number of people that are on /hide. It's their chioce, but I dont' see the point to do that incessently.
Furthermore, as to Mighty's post - Nations are not races. Race is determined by geographical genetics as a blanket statement to that.
One can be prejudiced against a category of people, or just one person, but that's not racism, necessarily. -
I would love to see a raid on a different night other than Sunday. Due to rl happenings I haven't been able to do a raid in a few years. When I do get in-game on Sunday it's either too early or too late to participate. C'est la vie.

So you spend a long time working on an outfit likely done with the hopes that it will be unique. Although, you think it would be preferential to have a name that is not. Color me confuzzled.
For me, creating the name, and yes making multiple attempts sometimes, is as much of a challenge and reward as getting that costume just right. I pull out dictionaires, thesauruses, online translaters; anything that will help me come up with a name that fits the theme or concept.
I'm all for releasing names on inactive accounts, but I vote no on tieing names to globals or having duplicates. -
Happy Birthday, SD!

**** happens.
Over the years how times have they had to rollback a patch? Not very.
No need to be so snarky about it. -
For my ninja concept Kat/SR I have stealth and the Unbound Leap +Stealth IO.
The End use on Stealth is quite high. I got it early and it was always hard to keep it up during good fights until I put End Reducers, usually as part of an IO set, in my attacks. I already had them in my secondary. Now I can leave it up all the time.
Some of the set bonuses I use give a bit of +End or +Recovery, but overall I think those don't have an impactful effect. Then there was that lucky drop of a Numina unique which does help.He has somwhere around 107 End with roughly a 2.8/s recovery.
If you want it up most of the time under level 40, where you may not be able to acrue much overall End Reduction through slotting for it in most of your powers, I would suggest a 2nd slot in Stealth for 2 E.R. SO/IO's.
If you were planning on slotting Stealth for defense then frankenslot some +Def/+E.R(/Rech). Even doing this for your powers using bits from cheaper IO sets works well and from a results/Inf spent perspective is also attractive.
I seem to recall some suppression visually with Stealth, although I can't be definitive as the Stealth IO rarely has any suppression and I have CJ on most of the time (cj,sprint, swift, quickness are my travel powers ~ concept). So I'm fairly transparent most of the time and probably don't realize when it is suppressed.
I will add that using Stealth plus the IO is Invisibility level stealth. I can walk up to a mob (without +perc) and touch it with no aggro. I feel very Stalkerish at times. -
Thanks for the fixes, especially putting to rest some of the outstanding UI bugs.
That mastermind bug would've been quite funny to see in action.
