  1. That was a really fun time there about 2 weekends ago in Warburg, Limp. You were with Cotton and I was teamed with a newbie-ish Tank that had never been to the zone before so I was helping him get a missle.

There were some great 2 v 2 fights had that morning.

Just thought I'd mention that cause it was fun and I just remembered it. Mmm'kay.

    Twas...

    Great, absolutely great!

'Xcept now I read every post with a certain cadence and I frown when it doesn't rhyme.

even with 3 tohits in tactics I couldnt see him till it was to late

It's not possible to buff +perception on Tactics, or any +perception power, is it?
  4. I remember that....

I also remember that cursed Dominator trying to TK me into the drones. It didn't go as planned I don't think, but the end goal was accomplished - I got pushed off the cliff into a couple of Arachnos. I still bit it, but it's all good.

Quason 2 shotted me too at Fight Club. That was a quick match. You two really put me in my place since I was having a pretty successful night otherwise.

I forget who I was fighting... an SR Scrapper I think.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Was his name Shisou perhaps?
That was my first time logging him since before i-6 and actually he is ED complient other than 5 slotted Hurdle. I've always thought he was a great, fun characer - my ninja. I just didn't know how fun he'd be with the recent defensive changes. He's now one of the most fun characters I have for PvP. Between damage done (Katana) and not being hit (Super Reflexes) the fights tend to last long. Long, good fights are absolutely great.

I had my first night of Fight Club tonight. It sure is great. We had quite the amount of spectators. Though, it's true, we need more villains out there... and something other than stalkers. Though there was a brute there early on.

It was pretty cool to see people come to the ring and ask what was going on and say, "cool", and hang around to watch. All being nice and respectful. Thanks to the rezzers that were there.

I had SS on and hit follow. He was right at the edge and moved aside just as I reached him. I launched off the building like a missile, and a controller started attacking me when I landed. =/

It's becoming an epidemic. I fell off the building twice last night too.

That was hilarious, yet unfortunate. Only because I couldn't see you . Especially, when you got back up and we were deciding to continue or restart. I was typing and hear you say something like, "We could just continue." Then... AssassinStrike!. Heheh. Everyone was good sports through and through.

While Focused Senses does give +perception, I couldn't see through Prev's and Quason's double stealth. Though, there are a fair number of stalkers which only have Hide I saw last night. I imagine I could with the goggles or Tactics. I'd like see him be an anti-stalker and he did an okay job at it last night for his first night on the job.

Tactics won't fit in his build I doubt though, since he's mostly a concept character and I don't think I'll change that about him. Just goes to show that there are some concept characters which could be good for PvP. Any concept character can contribute to team PvP regardless, but Shisou was great fun solo even.

Is there like, any possible way we could hold fight club on the freakin ground tomorrow night?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think we could get people to stand on the edges of the building to make a ring of sorts, espcially once this gets more popular. That building is perfect, too, to have 2 bouts going on at once.

There were also some great fights near the villain base in the water and at the cliff's edge. There must've been easily 15 vs 15, both before and after Fight Club.

I have to give kudos to E V I L for the very interesting 1 v 1 match - me a kat/sr vs him a necro/force field. He even hovered just overhead so as to be a challenge, yet not impossible to hit ( remember concept character - only Swift, Hurdle, Quickness and Sprint for travel ). He beat me, but sure did teach me a few more new things about strategy. So thanks for the great fight, E V I L.
  6. Fair enough, Quason. That'll teach me to post in haste when not quite awake and getting out of bed on the wrong side.

I wouldn't use an awaken personally.
  7. Agreed and I'll concede that. But the influence lent by the subject at hand implies otherwise.

If that's the case, I apologize. If not, I don't.
  8. You can think you're a villain all you like but if you don't think there is anything wrong with this then you're a griefer and an inconsiderate player.

  10. Teamed with Optimus Steel as well over the weekend as we took out Nosferatu and the Psychic Clockwork King.
  11. I realize that and I wait and hope for that to happen.
  12. While I really enjoy the big team battles that AF mentioned, the fighting on the beach isn't as appealing any more. Sure it was great for the first few weeks, but, as DB mentioned, the invincibility that comes with fighting so close to the safe zone is frustrating.

Also, the fights always seem to be on the beach. What I enjoy about Siren's Call and even to a lesser degree Bloody Bay is that the fights are all over the place a lot of the time.

I love all aspects of PvP but I also am inclined to go to Siren's Call simply for the more dynamic aspect of the zone and the fact that many of the alts I'm playing now are in their 20s and early 30s.

I wouldn't count on not seeing me in Warburg. I enjoy each of the PvP zones and all that PvP has to offer, and for the time I've spent in all of them I don't really play favorites, but Bloody Bay is the one I go to least.
  13. [ QUOTE ]
Why Bloody Bay, lad? Siren's Call is where the cool kids hang out, ya know.

    [/ QUOTE ]

As I mentioned, a team member wanted to run the Shivan mission to help her out during missions. It's not like I would've went there otherwise to pvp.
  14. Ran into the Night Lords late last night in Bloody Bay. I was on Ebon Welkin, Warshade, in a PUG with a new SG recruit that wanted to run the Shivan mission.

Just as we were taking out a gun base we got ambushed by them. We didn't fare so well in that first battle but we held our own for a while, though we were taken by surprise and were a little disorganized. We decided to have some fun with them so we quickly regrouped and I suggested some tactics to employ. I think only me and maybe one other had ever pvp'd before at all.

The 2nd battle went much better than the first though I would declare it draw. There were losses on both sides, but since some on our team were new to the scene they'd not rez very fast and lay as their corpse to watch the action which hindered our success. The Night Lords would hit the hospital and be back in the fray very quickly.

The 3rd battle was where we really came together. There were suggestions of a few other tactical options before and during the battle which our team followed very well for being a PUG and pvp newbies. This fight resulted in a total team wipe on the part of the Night Lords before any of them could rez and get back into the fight. It was pretty glorious to see a complete team wipe like that.

Unfortunately, they appeared to log after that last battle. Still, it was a pretty fun time while it lasted.

A word of caution when fighting this villain group. Jack NastyFace would train mobs on us in an attempt to get the upper hand. In my opinion, this is the reason why the 2nd battle would be declared a draw. I think we could've got the upper hand in that one if there weren't a bunch of Freakshow on us. Mostly on me since I was taunting the villains often. I ended up tp'g out of there eventually.

In the end our team felt that we did as well as we could under the circumstances (ie. 1. a PUG - not knowing each other, and 2. most hadn't pvp'd before) and we all got Shivans as a trophy at the end of it all.
  15. While on my Warshade I teamed with Antaean and a bunch of others in Siren's Call for a little while earlier in the evening.

hey Ping the name was Cold Call on the ice/dev blaster. ya that was a great fight. Prevalance, Gravalian , Frenzied Dragon you guys where all a blast to fight against. and Pang did a great job tanking as well. didn't get to spend much time with the fire blaster, we alternated trips to the hospital : p

we'll have to try it again maybe i can get a couple Watchguard guys into the fight. i'm sure Reperation wouln't mind going up against you again.

if you ever gank X-inferno (fire/energy blaster) say hi, thats me to.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm Pang. That was great fun last night when we had the 3v3 going! I especially liked you holding Grav and then I'd lay down Burn. I hope to team with you again sometime.

Prev, Grav and Dragon sure made a great team. Before I switched to Pang and teamed up with Cold Call, and I forget the other blaster's name (sorry), I was on my Warshade, Ebon Welkin, and those 3 sure laid it to me. All I wanted to do was try my hand at Frenzied Dragon and every time I would attack him *poof* there were Grav and Prev holding me and AS'g my behind. Even though it can get frustrating 3 v 1 it was still a great time.
  17. I agree. I rarely hear any dissing or bad mouthing. If I do it's, what I think, are those new to pvp. It doesn't take much to have a great time in any of the pvp zones as long as you know it's all in fun and nobody is really your enemy. I commend all the players on our server with a pleasant, yet competitive, nature towards pvp. It really is a treat to not hear all kinds of l33tne55 and bitterness in the chats. Kudos to all of you.
  18. What a great turn out in Siren's Call tonight! There were villains and heroes a plenty.

I was on Ebon Welkin, my warshade, and what a great time I had playing him. He'd been on the shelf for a bit, but now I'm hooked on him again. He's so versatile being a tri-form, yet mostly human, and I don't feel the need to respec him in the slightest. Definately a really fun time tonight.

There were many villains that fell by my hand, but I couldn't have done it without my teammates. Stalker Quason, Fangor, and to a lesser degree, Prevelance were by far the hardest for me to get my hands on. It was a pretty nice feeling going toe to toe with a few brutes and coming out victorious earlier in the evening. I can't really remember any names, but there were corruptors, brutes, masterminds, stalkers. I was really glad there aren't many dominators there yet at all. That'll be scary.
  19. You have a name for everything don't ya.
  20. Related in an inter-dimensional, backwards sorta way where donuts have holes on the outside.
  21. I've teamed with you, Crazy Kaze, a few times when I was on Horror from Hell and you were DeFekTive. This was about a week or so ago.
  22. Hooked up with Shotty Mario, as the Lost Woodsman, tonight. We ran around Warburg collecting a few missiles. Good to see you, mate.
  23. I was meaning to ask you did you log shortly after we saw each other in Warburg? I sent you a message to go 1v1 but you weren't around. I look forward to getting in the ring with you.

My list would have some length to it on both sides, but surely my "Defeated by" list would be far longer. I'll try to remember some names.
