Wooooooooo Gratz! Nice one

My greatest scrapper moment would have to be on a freakshow missions where there was a bank raid. I was totally solo; was a tough fight to get to the vault, but once I did, I had 2 tank swipers, about 3 leuitenants and well over 1/2 a dozen minions surrounding me (thanks alot invincibility ). Was a constant chain of Build up, Golden Dragonfly the boss, The Lotus Drops, and Flashing Steel for good measure. Was AoE madness; shortly into the mega-scrap dull pain was activated and the final push to try and out-scrap them before they out-scrapped me was on! many attacks i managed to dodge or moderately soak up; the minions were dropping fairly quickly from the brunt of the AoE's thankfully, and the bosses were recieving plenty of knocking from my other moves. The fight was nearly over, 1 leuitenant remaining; I was almost out of hitpoints, was a straight duel; a vicious swipe got me down to next to nothing health, but i prevailed with a precise Golden Dragonfly, and around me laid all the freaks that I had just managed to defeat. Not as great as some of the stories on here, but at the time it felt great, to slug it out against quite harsh odds. (That and it's not too often I see daylight after scrapping like that with a squishy )

Well mate, in my opinion, it depends on your playstyle. I used to be a bit of both, En/En, AoE heavy with some good blapping moves. Then I switched to full blapper and only kept Nova in as my only AoE. I like the high dmg to single target playstyle, and also if not done right, all those AoE's can lead to more aggro than you desire (trust me i've been there! ^^) Now with fire, I'm not the most knowledgeable, but from havin quite a few mates who had fire primary and showed me their skills, i gathered that fire has alot of AoE potential, plenty of DoT also. So with your Fire/Elec build, I would most likely keep a nice balance, 6 slotted inferno 3dmg 3rech, as for elec secondary, again energy is my specialty, but just max out your slots on the important attacks; again it links back to playstyle, go for whatever you feel comfortable with Take your character over to the test server and experiment with a few builds there, sorry I cannot be of much help being an energy man But I garuntee there is other forumites here willing to share their experiences with you

Oh and Z, afaik, you can only get lvl 50 HO's.

Shame your hospital stay was extended mate, hope you're ok . Fortunately the raid still went ahead and we won I really hope that you can organise another Hami Raid shortly, I'll always be there with my Monster team to assist

Was a mostly smooth raid, I won't lie and say we didn't have problems, the mito clearing phase was sketchy, but as Tera said, very good hold phase. My team managed to stop around 9 or 10 monsters despite problems at the start with not enough debuffs, -regen and all that . Will take this a learning experience, and Mr ?, very very nice work, it was pretty much improvised and i thank you for stepping forward and taking leader position. Be assured next time, I'll get a rad on my team ^^

Hmmmm, well I do have Energy Manipulation or my secondary and never even tried Fire Manipulation, but my advice if you're going for the sologrind, you'll need to consider a few things. 6 slot your nova straight away, you cannot go wrong with 3 damage 3 recharge, no need to worry about accuracy apparently because the base accuracy rate of a nova is very high, and with aim you should hit pretty much everything. 1 other thing, [u]Aid Self.[u] Get it if you want to stay on your feet that extra bit longer. I have mine slotted as 2 Heal 2 Interrupt reduction 2 Recharge. If you had taken Energy Manipulation and had power boost, activate that and Aid Self, boom, straight away about 1/2 your hitpoints come back. But without power boost it should recover around 1/3. Also bear in mind it is an interruptable power so best thing to do is stay focused and time it right, or do a quick hop back out of harms way and activate aid self. Its very useful. If you are taking on the solo grind aswell, keep a tray full of insps to keep you going.

Another thing, force mastery as your epic powerset, if you want to solo later on, it's a smart move. Personal Force Field will act as an excellent panic button. A good combo if you just can't hold out any longer is PFF+Aid Self. whilst most attacks are flying off the force field you can whack out the lil device, heal yourself, shut off PFF and get back into the fray. Temp Invunerability and Force of Nature are a must too, combined they have some very very nice damage resistances. I wouldn't take Repulsion field personally, but you can do if you do not wish to have any enemies up close with you, but keep in mind every enemy that hits your RF will cost additional endurance; in a big mob that can mean and end crash, and if you're out of end insps and mez'd, oopsie

So to recap, 6 slot nova and aid self, and Force Mastery later on. But In my opinion, just try teams ^^

Me aswell Flush, no matter what I may be up to, even if I'm in the middle of an sg matter or doing a few missions and feel like teamin or just a chat just send a tell, I was quite reluctant to ask for teams when I arrived here, luckily I had some very nice people help me along the way and show me that this community is very warm and welcoming

Nice one for stepping forward organising a raid Heyman I may be around then to blast some mito clear [50 Nrg/Nrg/Force Blaster]. May want to link the guide to a succesful hami raid which was made a while ago to this thread so the new raiders can get to grips with what's expected. And if need be, I'll take a shot at commanding the GM team if thats fine with everyone.

Awww I think we teamed a few times Carni or met once or twice, bah I'm sure we've crossed paths But its always sad to see this sorts of posts (But glad to hear you should be coming back and have a baby on the way ).
