I also have a fire/kin troller.

The things that I have done differently, after mu I6 respec, is

1) Flasfire - 2 accs, 2 disdur and 2 recharges
2) didn't take hasten
3) Went for the leaping power pool to add defense to the toon from combat jumping, 2 slotting super jump (which is crazy, what a jump) and added acrobatics to stop my knockdown-ability (2 slotted with endred)
4) Cinders - 2 acc, 2 hold, 2 recred
5) Fire Imps - only 4 slotted - 1 acc and 3 dmg. I did have them 6 slotted with dmg in I5 because the accuracy is super high anyway so I managed to save 2 slots

I have only got to lvl 44 so I have fireball and fire shield. Will take the fire blast thing (whatever its called) at 47. Dont need comsume ecause I got transference from the kinetics pool.

I sort of agree with what is said about bonfire - BUT - one thing about imps is that they can be a bit, eh.... random. If you find yourself in a position where the imps have agroed an extra mob then you may have more than you can deal with. Bonfire is good for this because it will knockback the enemies and give you some breathing space.

If you haven't started yet I would seriously recommend kinetics instead of empath due to the fact that your major kinetics powers are point blank and so are your pets. This works so well together - but each to their own.

Was in Warburg the other night and 2 toons were arguing. One of them said that the other guys couldn't talk because he couldn't be beaten..... DING DONG!!! invite

We went into the zone to fight the guys and everytime he got on low heatlh he was straight in the water and wouldnt fight far away from it either. Eventually stacked about 12 holds on him and brawled him to bits lol! then they moan cause they got held - forget your break frees then

heh! somebody called me a... well i can't say it here (another name for a cat), over the broadcast because he thought I didn't go 1 on 1 with another toon.

Don't get this stuff, its not as if I haven't reached the stage where I accept death in PvP, i have been planted several times, so getting another one isn't something that'll annoy me

guys - there couldn't be any more warning about what is going to happen in there. You don't like it - stay out of it.

Fire/Kinetics FTW

Kinetics is really good for fire primary. The 2 main reasons for this is that the heal is point blank and transference is point blank. Both of them are ideal for maxing out your pets.

My cont is sitting at 39 just now so I still have to get my epic powersets but its the best fire cont I have played. I also have a fire/emp on the US boxes (lvl 50) and he is good, but fire/kin is better imo

I might look into your services although I feel that there is a sort of charitable gangster theme going on here.

The normal gangster would offer the protection for money and if somebody attempted this mission without your help then you would 'pwn' them like you did to a small team at the weekend (I saw you)

But for some reason you are offering protection for free, but will you still kill any unsigned mission teams?

Don't know the exact figures but in I5 I think about 2 to hit buffs replaced the need for accs in your powers

Things are different now in I6 though. Not that much

I was kickin about this morning facing some reds and purples and I wasn't hitting as much as I used to but I still didn't die
