1. I must pay more attention to the forums! Claws/Invul was my first ever CoH ALT with Tridento, and my only Lvl 50 so far.

When I reached Level 50 my build was...

But since then I've respec'd to a more PvP build. Basically, I dropped Spin for PvP, but in PvE it is definitely worth having. I've dropped the EndRdx in my attacks and replaced them with Rechg. Have taken the medicine pool to get Aid Self, replaced Energy Torrent with Laser Beam Eyes, and changed my travel style to SS with 3 slotted CJ & Hurdle.

Probably a bit late as you have done your build, but maybe some food for thought there.
2. Hmmm, we may need to use this thread again - website problems?

Just as Sin said he was having a break as well

3. Tremendous fun, fast paced, and having two teams doing the TF did add that competitive element to it!

All in all very enjoyable! Well organised

4. If it's not too late to throw my hat in the ring for this....

All three of my main heroes have yet to do this TF, so which ever one best fits the team, I will be

6. And gratz from me too! Glad I was there to see it

7. I was on the same OotCS base raid - defending with the heroes. I don't think the medi pad was destroyed, it was more a case of the villains gaining control of it. Unfortunately the villain spawn point appeared right next to the medi pad, so when the villains did gain a foothold it was one of the first things the heroes lost use of.

With no medi pad the hospital came into use, and then we discovered a minor flaw. We hadn't started in the same zone when we entered the base originally. That made co-ordinating entry into the base (as the villains were now set up near the entry portal) a bit trickier.

The end result was that the heroes won as the villains didn't have their pylons set up in time. It helped that the heroes managed to destroy a couple once they were in place.

8. Trust me to choose claws/invul when I first got the game

Still, it worked for me, but regen does seem to be the most popular choice for secondary powers for scrappers.
9. Shall try and be online at the time with Tridento.

10. King of the Hill still booked in for this evening?

11. Fantastic!

Great effort Sin. Let's get everyone using it now (and I should be able to do that from work as well - yay!!)

12. Count Tridento in, time to sharpen the claws to "jell-o mode".

13. Somewhat similar to FB...

During the week I read the forum at work, but cannot post at work due to our websense filters banning any game related sites (odd that I can view the forum, but not login to the forum).

Definitely a dropper off of enhancements as well as a taker Though I have noticed that some people still persist in dropping off TO's > 20 (what's the point?). These may as well be sold as you should be concentrating on DO's by then.

I've never been one to ask for influence/infamy, making the hard slog myself. Not so much a problem with low level alts, but does become a pain when prestige takes away from inf. When in this level range I tend to do a bubble in SG, then a bubble out of SG. Maybe it would help to have a list of SG financiers who can be the "go to" guys when people are in need. Thus allowing them to stay in SG mode.

As far as the bases are concerned I'll take functionality over looks. That's the purpose of the base, the looks can come later when the extra prestige has been earned.

Whilst I can't admit an undying love for Plight, he has got my utmost respect for the work put in to the SG/VG.

14. Am happy with base raids, when i can get there!

We also need to practice some 6v6 for KotH. Would be ideal if we can get 12 on at the same time to try out different tactics, team builds etc.

Evenings from about 1830 to 2100 are best for me.

15. I hope to be at the base raid, but this depends on the family bbq (weather permitting).

Shall definitely be on for KOTH.

See you all then

16. Congratulations FB!!

Scary that we joined the SG at roughly the same time, and Tri was approaching Lvl 40 then. You've done uber well and it's definitely deserved. Have fun with the PB!

17. Gratz matey! Glad I was there to join in the celebrations. One of the nicest tanks I've teamed with and good luck with your PB.

18. and there's me who just pops down to the local PC World and says, "I'll have that one please".

Stay tuned for more "Pimp my PC".

BTW Sin, I take it that the vehicle letters are bought and not just pinched from local cars

Although not too big a thing the 3 kills of the swords where mine

[/ QUOTE ]

*cough*

Tridento did get one of our three, and I'm sure we all chipped in on all three

I spent a few minutes chasing down a defender (or troller - can't remember) but it was like trying to hold down a greased up piglet. The tactics had to change quickly when our team lost a few lives early on - the safety in numbers approach was adopted as we tried to pick off indviduals.

Strategy will be revisited as the OotCS prepare to take Retribution's hard earned title.

20. It was fun! Would have been complete mayhem as a six team event, and more fun

Keep it going Hidden, people will slowly come around to the idea of it. If enough teams get involved you could do it in a "ladder" style. Any new teams have to challenge the bottom of the ladder and work their way up to the top.

21. Oh yes, am definitely up for it!

64 way FFA

Okay, slow start to this concept as 6 people turned up (and the level 10 brute was slightly underpowered). So we ended up doing a 3v3.

Spread the word! Hopefully we can make this a regular weekly slot on defiant and more people will turn up each week. The challenge is to get 64 Lvl 46-50's (heroes & villains) in one arena. It's for a bit of absolute mayhem & fun. Keep an eye out for it - broadcasts on the Arena chat when it is happening.

Join in, even if it is just to satisfy your curiosity
