Ha ha. Very well done guys. =D

I'll pop by the Hollows once I've checked which of my heros still need this. Shall make myself known when I get to Karsis. Just in case any of the multitudes don't turn up!
-
Phew, thought it was just me with the problems accessing the site!!
Get cracking on it Sin, we need them communications, especially with them pesky PD's planning to raid our base
Looks like my spare time at work will be on the official forums in the meantime. -
Hmmm...
Blasters
Blast now, die later.
Killing the enemies that other's can't reach
Tanks
We die harder
Scrappers
Let my claws do the talking.
Reach out and swipe someone
A regen is forever
A focus a day keeps the enemy at bay
Defenders
Don't leave home without me
We bring dead heroes to life
Nothing says loving like my buffing
How do you spell relief? E M P A T H

Just seen this thread!
My Thugs Mastermind is Captain Wombat and his minions are:
Thugs: Dingo, Croc & Redback
Enforcers: Funnel Web & Taipan
Bruiser: Stonefish
All the nice cute cuddly Aussie animals -
I should be there with Tri. Have also linked this to the swords forums, so hopefully will have a good turn out from the OotCS.

Sorry if I haven't spotted this yet, but are you US, Canuck, Aussie or from the Best Bloody Country On Earth (Kiwi)?

...and there was me thinking that the Best Bloody Country on Earth & Aussie were the same thing!
Welcome to Defiant! Good to have another cobber on.

Definitely add three Damage to Follow Up. It then means you can disregard Strike, as Follow Up will cause the Damage, and give you a ToHit Bonus. And FireKitty is spot on with the Acc - PvE you can get away with 2 slotting. If you can then choose it, Spin is worthwhile considering, especially for PvE.
As to the regen side of things - pass. I've never taken that well worn scrapper path. So I shall leave you with the comments of those that have been there. -

Inspired by the regen brute idea I rolled up a dark/fire yesterday. 2 heals and (later on) 2 endurance recovery powers with dark consumption and consume. Level 11 and so far it seems pretty good, be interesting to see how long it can maintain a full head of steam later on.

My dark/fire brute is currently Level 24 and I'm still loving it! With the recent changes, and I already had Healing Flames 3 slotted with reduced recharge, I rarely have to pop a green or a blue (courtesy of aforementioned end recovery powers).
I deleted my stone/stone brute as I found it very boring - I only got to level 18 with him.

I think it's safe enough to say "happy christmas" to someone without implying any religous meaning to it

No it's not.

Agreed
Have a wonderful winter festive period all! (Unless you are from the Southern Hemisphere - Have a great summer holiday!)

Hope to be there, and I shall link this to the swords website as well

Am ok for the 2nd, but the 8th clashes with the good ol' company Christmas Dinner!! Hami jelly just does not go with the Turkey and cranberries.
As Junior is being slack with his levelling on Onion, I could always see if he wants to try out a Hami raid on Defiant - so Tridento may still be there.

Big pat on the back for the organisers - chaos is a hard thing to organise and you guys did manage it!
Gratz to all who took part - please be considerate of the requests, they happen for a reason!
So, that's 7 Hami Raids so far for me, with 5 wins!! Must get Robo up to 45 so I can try the tank team for a change -
Shall be there as part of the Swords GM clearing team!
-
Gratz Elixa! Sorry we couldn't get it done on the Sunday, but good to see you got there in the end

I would have to agree with Empath - the clue is in what the channel is called - "Arena". That being the case you'd expect there to be mainly Arena/PvP related chat in there.
The hard part is to wean people away from using Arena as the global chat area. A hard line tactic will more than likely alienate people and cause disharmony. When something like this is being self policed, the approach has to be considered. A "hi" in the Arena channel does not mean you are out of order, but I would have thought that requests for TF's, teams etc would be better served elsewhere. The more experienced users should be able to use common sense when it comes to determining what is misuse of the channel - and maybe adopt a "three strikes and your reported" approach?
At the end of the day, I don't PvP enough for this to be a real concern for me. But I'd hate to think that something like this causes a rift in the community.

From Cowards Hill the first we knew was when the shout went out that two GM's had entered the bubble. By the time we had responded I think the defender team supporting the tank had been wiped.
Meh - it was going good til then. Spectacular mass death ensued. It was well organised, and definitely not as laggy as before - I was able to keep Odins Son targetted no problem at all.
Next time Hami, next time! /em shakes fist -
Was there to see the whole thing - what a way to ding - a 7 hour Shadow Shard TF.
Gratz again Foresight! -
As often as possible is good
The last raid went well, would it be of any benefit to have two Mito clearing teams to help speed that process up? -
hmmm, has he tried setting up another profile? Just to see if that works? Or is it his IP that is blocked?
-
is this when the creepy soundtrack kicks in, with Hami cackling in the background, "the fools, they fell for my trap".....
Stay tuned for the next exciting episode, next week....
btw - does Hami cackle? or is it a squelchie sort of laugh? -
Another "useless" scrapper reporting in! The mito clearing phase is where we earn our keep, that and telling jokes when the hold phase has begun (and invariably clearing up any GM's that get in the way).
