  1. Very sorry I missed this.
If anyone saw me on Thursday or Friday, they would know that I didn't sleep for 29 hours, and when I finally did sleep, I woke up at around, 5 mins ago.
  2. Telepads for one, but since your vil, that can be done in no time...

Big bases are usally great for Raids.

Heck no. I just want people to stand or sit in an area in my base and say something when someone walks up to it.
  4. I'd say at least by issue 20.
  5. This is..... AWESOME
You are 10x the Base maker I am.
  6. 1-Wentworths Coorespondant
    2-Icon Coorespondant
    3-AE Tower
and if I could have a fourth
    4-Customizable NPCs
  7. You know what:
I'm going to Apologize for what I had said earlier and will replace my Jargen with the more apropriate:
    "To Each their Own"
  8. Okay, sorry I was late. Lost track of time.
I'm on now though. Is there anyway i could join up with Ya'll?
  9. I'd have to agree, but only in some places.
  10. My Character's Name will be Giygas. Assault Rifel/Dark Miasma.
  11. Well... I need to do alot of these now.
Given me quite a bit to think about and ideas to use.

I use the accent lamp occasionaly. Ironicly I use it for stacking stairs most often, but I use the safe because it's nice and rounded at the one level. Now, maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me, but everytime I compaired Safe and accent stacking, I've found that they stack differently from each other. But I will say this, the accent lamp still is a viable source of stacking, I just find the small neck and size to be a little harder to use.
Of course really once you bring in the floor tiles, does it really matter what is used?
  13. My recent base is pretty tiny, yet it's coast me at least 900,000 prestiege so far.
  14. That looks really good
  15. You could use Lighting to your Advantage and use the lighter Bookshelves. That way they can have a greenish tone and seem dingier. You could also use the Cubicle and the floor tiles and use the white cabinet or another wall cabinet.
  16. Well maybe it's the Hover that seporates the men from the Boys or have you.

Yeah, but they stack at weird Heights.
A Safe is a nice unit of measure. But I guess it's like the Metric System and all. It doesn't matter if the Meter is a better increment of measure, you're just gonna stick to your Foot.

I'm all for more tools, and placeable wall sections, two sided floor sections etc...

But I'm not holding my breath, lol.
I almost think Placeable walls would ruin base building.
Maybe that's the ego in me and that special feeling I get knowing that I'm one of the gifted few who can make great unique multi layered bases.

    1. Accent Lamps stack on top of each other. I find that a stack of 3-4 is usually as tall as I need.

    2. The floor tile will interconnect with the lamps. You can then "slide" the floor tile up and down the lamps to your desired height (sometimes adjusting the camera angle helps with this).

    3. Once you have your floor tile at the desired height, you can actually move it around horizontally a bit. This is a little tricky and may take some practice. Think of moving it into an overlapping position. As long as you don't hit a wall or floor with the mouse, you should be fine.

Using the floor tile will allow you much more surface area to work with for setting up your bookshelves, floors, etc.,. Way more efficient than just using floor safes!
I used to use Acent lamps, but god how much I hate them. Safes and Floor tiles are easier because a safe is the same height as a Floor section, and I know that two floor sections can fit one person, thus it is possible to have up to 5 or even 6(With a Tight fit) Floors in one room. The Accent Lamps on the other hand make it harder to keep track of that way.

That's why you use accent lamps instead of safes! Safes are pointless without Tiles.

Hover is a Must, Flight is the second best thing. Mainly because Hover gives you the stability that flight just doesn't have.

    Ever try stacking safes?
    They can stack on themselves.
  21. To be honest, it doesn't bother me in the least. It did at first, but I've done this for so long that I don't even notice an issue, even when I switch over and play the sims or something, because I think we can do alot more with what we have here than one could do with say the Sims or something. Now I would like to have new tools, that would be awesome, but so long as they don't mess with what I have built.

Well I gotta say, that's Really Impressive, though I do say, why not try to use safes, people say the acent lamps are better, but I'll be honest, they coast the same and are harder to keep track of height, I don't see much of an upside. Now they are taller, but not by enough that it matters.
Anyway, this is some great work, and for someone who's doing this on your own, it's really impressive.
  23. Anyone who uses the Infinity Based AE Anonymous Channel knows I'm ALWAYS trying to get base tours out. I love having people see my base, and god knows I spend 50% of my CoH time there.
  24. I'm willing to do it Today or Tomorrow, just give me a PM in game on on the Forums next time you're on and I'll help you the best I can.
I'd also like to say that everything bit of Inf I get goes to getting more prestiege for a bigger better base, and with that I learn new tricks and try out new things.
