But is it just me or does it not mention when the ocntest ends or when things have to be submitted by or... *shrug* Maybe it's in the fine print. I refuse to read fine print.

FD - Liking this second piece better, just works better for me for whatever reason. My one specific comment would also be on the raised hand - I think it needs to either be interacting with the creature more or posed in some kind of magical Ta Da! kind of way or something... My first thought would be to kind of have it cupping/petting the creatures body as it flows through/past the hand.

All are awesome... My thoughts:

#1: It's less messy if you swallow.

#2: It looks like she got gassed by the Joker! The evil delight on her face is very Joker-esque...

#3: This immediately made me think of the Indiana Jones scene where the guy does all the fancy swordplay... Then Indy just pulls out a gun and shoots him Not saying she can't avoid a shot or anything, just saying I get the sense that she just showed off a bit more than really just sliced someone up... Though I imagine that could change with color

Like I said on DA, I really like these both but I agree that the Liberty one is a bit better... I think it being a bit of an action pose really helps

It's kind of just your style, I think, and I kind of dig it... But isn't Sentry a hero, basically? The paleness with heavy shadow on him gives him a bit of a villain aspect, I think...

Then again, it seems as if he's at least gone a bit rogue here so I guess it works in that way anyway...


But it's looking pretty cool.

I added the "believe" to my explanation of what CR said because I think it arrogant to state that I know what is going on in someone elses head is all... I think his words were quite clear.

I would comment on his use of parenthesis and whether it was a run on sentence of not but since I have no advanced degree in English I am not qualified to do so...

Let me go jump into the costume creator....

ok, I suck at costumes but since it's for you I figured I'd try. Here's my attempt and some small explanation afterwords...



I thought you would want to maintain a mainly "heroic" look but I tried to go a bit darker than the normal brightness one expects...

I envision the blue section of the top to actually be a singlet or such, a single piece with the skirt. I do have her wearing tights but with this over it in a nod to a bit more modesty... I would envision this ideally showing off the curves but not hugging them. Ideally I would also envision the skirt a bit longer, but not so long as to hinder movement and agility...

Personally, I like putting the symbol on the belt in this case... A bit of a nod towards WW nut not too much of one, I hope...

I pretty much tried to stay with solid colors until the boots... I like there being a little bit of intricate design but not too much. I thought the boots would be the perfect place to throw it in.


Anyway, that's my stab at it... Who knows, maybe I'll actually get inspired when you write up the bio but heh... You've seen what I've come up with for myself - Don't expect much from me! :P

JohnnyKat - I think you need to reread CR's first statement a bit closer...

This is looking really, really cool... And it's great to see you doing something for yourself - Nice job by GW on that!! Though I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of expression on LJ's face... The mask covers a lot but perhaps the mouth strained a bit due to exhertion? Cannot wait to see the final piece!

Thanks, Wassy. That's not an uninteresting suggestion... But, except for the hours (which may change soon) I like my current job - Good pay, little actual work to do.

Besides, at least if the stereotype is true, politicians too often say things they don't mean and that is something I do not do.

No worries... I'd have probably been a little chattier and such and obviously less snarky and just informative but I was checking in from work on my phone and I do my best to rein in the rambling when I don't have an actual keyboard to use....
