Great! Now get back to work!! :P
(While I go figure out if it's this darn morality mission that's broken or just me!) -
The Virtue channel many of the peeps around here use is: Forum 606
And yeah, I forgot to mention that that piece totally rocks!I jumped right to your DA page to check to see who did it...
My main advice is to jump right in... We don't bite (much) unless we get permission first
The only place you may need to step a bit carefully is criticising/offering advice about arts, made by people here or bought and shown off here... Some people are ok with it, or even welcome it... Other would much rather you kept anything critical to yourself unless specifically asked. My suggestion would be to get a feel for the thread before doing any of that... But everything else is pretty much fair game and open to all
And since you're obviously an art appreciator, another bit of advice would be to have character references handy... On occasion one or another of our fabulous artists may ask for volunteers to be drawn, sketched, whatever so it's handy to have quick ready references since it'll sometimes be first come first served sort of thing... Also doesn't hurt to have a link in your sig to such in case they're bored and just get click happy and nspired :P But also, don't expect anything... I'm no artist but I know that kind of attitude wouldn't be likely to inspire me
But all in all, have fun... and don't take anyone too seriously. Most people take everything here as if in jest and it's probably the safest and best way to do it. Little wars do spring up time to time but you ignore them long enough and they peter out... -
Quote:When I saw the list of Daily Winners I almost thought I had won something!! Then I realized I didn't know if my piece actually got in on time, and definitely wasn't in on THAT day... So I guess somewhere out there someone has my same first name and initial...Congratulations to the local winners indeed! I didn't notice the grand prize stuff was up and saw the dailies were listed by real first name so I didn't know who got what.
Yeah, Zam.com is horrible at contests. I basically had to prod them along for a week, they ignored their own deadlines, posted all the winners late, etc. I've been active there for ten years now so I feel entitled to tell them when they're acting like suck
There was some nice stuff posted by the locals. Good job all!
At least now I know I have an arch enemy though and I can begin my plan for hunting them down and destroying them! Mwuahahahahahahaa!!! -
Well hiya! Welcome to the best part of the forums!!
Frankly, if you read this section, you really don't need the rest of 'em(honestly, I look at other sections maybe once a week... And who wouldn't want to be just like me???)

Newest newest piece is by Nojitsu. Sorry if image comes out mega huge or mega small, doing this via cell phone and will fix when I get home if need be...
Anyway, this is another pic of Fenian Wolf. She's my Arachnos Soldier (clone of Fenian's magically created doppelgänger Unrepentant Fenian - Love those comic book plot lines!) She usually has on a bit more armor than this but, errrr, it was a warm day?(she's actually the perv of the trio, compensating for having no real powers I presume ..)

I thought the fine print I kind of glanced at mentioned prizes awarded by drawing and winners randomly selected. *shrug* Dont really care though... Even if just the grand prize winner was random they got a really nice piece of art at random..
However it was done, congratulations to our local winners(and I think they do get a premium subscription to whatever Zam is, or did I read that wrong as well?)
-
Congratulations to ChristopherRobin, Wassy and Battlewraith, as well as all the winners!!! I just single them out due to their being active members of this little forum whose names/entries I recognized! If any 606'ers also won and slipped by me, big congrats to you as well!!
As I recall, someone cast aspersions on Zam following their own rules... And I must say that the quality of the winners does lead me to suspect this wasn't an entirely random choosing -
Quote:I think they let the Muppets get away with pretty much whatever they wanted back then... They had Alice Cooper on the show, they had Liza Minelli singing Lola... And of course they had a mad bomber, a guy who was way too friendly with chickens and one heck of a great drummer! Also dang Caemgen that was creepy haha how did they ever sneak that past the sensors on the muppets?
*shrug* And people wonder why I came out warped. -
I can and probably would make this one but *shrug* I do imagine a lot may want to be playing with the new shiney GR...
-
I'm making myself not look at any of it until Wednesday.
Will only have about 3 hours tommorow to play... Wednesday I have a solid 56 hours to immerse myself in it!

Quote:Trust me, putting the version you do next to this one and nobody would believe they're of the same subject matter...*promptly files boredom lawsuit against spikey headed guy for pre-emptively drawing his drawing (it's totally like a krime an' stuffz)*
All the parts are immediately recognizable, some nice work there buddy.
One question though is that an eyeslit in the front of the helmet or just a shading line that came out too dark?
I believe it's a totally enclosed helmet with somekind of H.U.D. inside and no way to look out of it.
And I'm sure I have no way of knowing the answer to your question... But I'd assume both - A shading line that came out too dark but since it was in a coincidental spot no effort was made to blend it away or anything.
I also assume it's supposed to be an enclosed helmet - I believe the lights on the side are the sensors that gather data to create whatever HUD allows the wearer to see, what with spiders also having four pairs of eyes and there being 8 lights...
No, mine!! My art!! -
The artist of this latest commission requests to stay anonymous
A couple of others are in the works but this is the first artwork of my latest favorite version of Fenian... Fenian Wolf. She's the sole surviving clone of Unrepentant Fenian's (the evil Fen) run in with Protean. Unfortunately for her, her powers were temporary... Unwilling to give up the thrill of such power though, she weaseled her way into becoming a Soldier of Arachnos until she could get the skills (and armor) she needed to escape and turn into the hero she longs to be...

More abuse... This time by the so called "Heroes" of Paragon City...
I believe we can all agree that the abuse of a person after they have clearly surrendered is a human rights violation... -
-
Never seen her stuff but I certainly love her arts!
-
"I don't do cute!"
(as much as I may appreciate it, I certainly can't risk my image by being seen with it!) -
Newest piece is by Nojitsu... Unfortunately her real life interrupted when she was supposed to do some contest prizes but she's back and active on DA so I grabbed her for a couple of more Classic Nojitsu style pieces - This is the first of them
-
Unfortunately we didn't all die in a tight enough group to get a proper team picture!
Was way fun though!! -
Does the toon actually HAVE to be 45? They can't sidekick up?? (I probably should know this by now but I don't...)
If so, Fenian needs to know if you REALLY expect her to dye her hair for this?!? If not, the other Fen'll have it hid under a helmet anyway
And who all is in?????? -
