Knowing nothing about the character or story or anything... Basically just going off my knowledge of comics and their devices... I'd say he's punching his fists together to create some kind of shockwave or some such?

It's amazing, there is an unlimited supply of time and yet we never seem to have enough of it.
But no worries man, I already got one totally unexpected birthday art, I certainly can't be greedy and demand more... (or can I???? mwuahahahahha)
As for guessing your intentions... Well I don't know about your fART entry, but a hottie jumping out of a cake? No offense, but it's hardly all that original
Classic and iconic, sure... nut not original (Now, if you had gone the reverse route and planned on having Gorm jumping into the cake, and I had guessed that... Well, that would be eerie!)
Seriously though, not knowing all the particulars, I would suspect it's more a case of you spotting the comments that come close rather than a surge of people guessing the unknown.
And as for the Italian Pizza... Yeah, I was just being silly. I really hope she's been trying more native foods rather than checking out every pizza place in the area! -

Don't really get too into birthdays any more but do go to a great steak place with my mom and brother and have a really nice dinner. It was actually my mother's birthday as well (Yep, born on mom's bday - I am god's gift to women!) so we got to celebrate 2 for 1 No cake but I did get an ice cream pie earlier in the week... I guess that kind of counts?

And I will share my favorite gift so far... This comes from EuROPA777 on DA who found out about my bday and threw together a sketch for me... I was floored by this since I knly know him through working with him... But it was amazingly cool of him to do!

Simple answer: Yes.
Of course, part of the problem is that a lot of the artists, and a lot of the quick deals that pop up, are strictly pin up in nature...
But besides that... In can be difficult to think of a cool scene or pose or situation, specially if a great artist just opened up X spots and you are trying to be quick enough to ensure you get one of them! Some ideas I've had to help this, which I have taken to varying degress myself, would be:
DA Favorites - Favorite poses, scenes, etc you like which you may eventually like your own version of, and keep in a seperate folder to reference later.
Image Folder - make a folder on your comp to save other types of images - magazine covers, album art, whatever, for the same purpose.
Ask others - Be it the artist themselves (a lot of artists like the freedom of going whatever way they want, others like everything spelled out) but seek input from friends and such whose opinions you trust. Sometimes it can be a real eye opener to get input on how other see, or would like to see, the character.
Anyway, yeah.. sometimes it can be tough to think of exactly what you want to see... You are not alone
