  2. “Another quest, it’s getting to be like Piccadilly Circus here!” the woman snorted “I assume you’re here on some sort of mission, dreadful people, no respect for private property.”

She looked at the girl Gemma, frowning thoughtfully, then with whoosh of displaced air, she whips the ridding crop savagely against the girl’s throat. Gemma looks pained, attempts one wheezed breath, before she falls off her piano stool with a musical discord as her head strikes the piano.

“Right now the witness has been taken care of, would you care to explain what the hell you are doing here?”

There isn't any other nations out there. Just Preatoria, just the people that were saved in the Hamidon war.

Infact that's the very point of the Reichsman's task force.

He's gone around beating the crap out of other dimension's Reichsman's and sucked their powers out with a machine, hence why he's invincible in the first encounter, and needs special debuffs and temp powers in the final fight.

Now I'm not certain what the correct legal response is when declared enemy of the state, particularly when you have evidence that the presidents plan to destroy the asteroid won't work...

Edit: And Luthor loses his presidency, not because of the false accusation, but because he'd been involved with slave/prisoner trading with a hostile nation/planet, for personal gain.... which he confesses to.

We don't get any information about the rest of the world. So, really, it's safest to simply go with what we know as fact. Mostly the past, general locations of stuff.
He wasn't asking about shared world stuff, just your personal take on it.

I was disagreeing because his version doesn't make sense given the game lore, nor does it make sense given real life either.

Japan has a very good army, well since it's not actually an 'army' they have a very effective, very well trained, very well equipped Defense Force (JDF/SDF) an army that is trained to defend Japan.

They would have this in CoH too, only with Mech's, ninja's, magical girls since the JDF/SDF has been around since 1954, it would of been there to protect Japan during the Rikti War.

After all, there isn't a law that puts the President above the law.
  8. I wouldn't agree with the Japan thing, after all the only place mentioned as having a lower than average level of heroes/meta humans is China, and that is due to Malta.

It just so happens Supes is ati-killing and a very good man.
Except Superman follows the law Omy, he even did so when Lex Luthor was president.

He even follows local laws when he's outside of the USA.
  10. Yeah, the way in is still wide open, the guards have all vamoosed.
  11. In the room there is a large white piano, sat at the keys is a young girl, in her tweens, she has straight black hair, darkly ringed eyes and is wearing a similar uniform to the vampire children. She plays the same song as before, not even looking up from the keys as the door opens.

The woman, that had previously been seen through the crack, is taping the top of the piano with a ridding crop, which a theatrical slash of it front of the child’s face, the music stops.

“It appears we have guests, funny I don’t remember inviting anyone over” she says with traces of scorn and an arched eyebrow.
  12. Oh if Yarg or Hells has any enhanced senses, I'd like to know.
  13. “It was very good, but you made several mistakes. Hands out girl” the matronly voice continued.

The room beyond hand dark wooden panelling, a thick plush red carpet and was warmly lit with a soft orange tinged light.

A figure crossed past the crack, a dark haired woman in a designer dress, she looked to be in her late twenties, but ‘expensively’ so.

A moment later there was swish, a crack and a girlish cry of sharp pain.

“Once again Gemma” the matronly voice ordered.

“Y-yes my lady.” A girls voice answered

    The music started again.

Yeah I mean nothing is stopping anyone from going after bounties, it'd be fun to see what happens IC when you stroll up with a bag full of heads, and no one will pay for them :P
  15. Peace talks between Pious and the Court, it was an in game meeting thing.
  16. At the first foot fall upon it, the corridor begins to change, a wave of squares spread out along the brightly lit floor, the white panels darkening as their true purpose is revealed... monitors. The first set showed a bird’s eye view of a room with a smooth metal foor. In this room two heavily robed figures were stripping one of the unconscious vampires down to its underwear, a third figure entered from off screen carrying neatly pressed clothes, which the still sleeping vampire was dressed in.

The next set of panels had their views split in two, showing mirrored versions of what appeared to be the same room, rows of open coffins, each next to a wardrobe, a desk, chair and little lamp. The only difference noticeable difference in the two views is that in one the coffins had sleeping boys, in the other girls.

The third view showed a room with several rows of desks and chairs, all facing towards a large table, where a hooded figure sat, shuffling some paper work.

The corridor ends in a double door, from which a muffled matronly voice says

“That was very good Gemma” as the music ends.

Oh I agree, the only reason the Lawful tag exists is to give bad DM's an excuse to make Paladins fall.
  19. There is nothing Lawful about Vigilantes, one mission has you gas a council base, then blow it up with the council inside!
  20. “What’s my most cherished wish?” the little girl laughs crassly.

“Nosey aren’t you?” she picked up a tumbler from the table, knocking back the single malt whiskey with a grimace that made her look just like a normal child.

“I guess, if I’m honest... I wish God was dead.” She smiled frowning down at her lighter as it failed to light the first time, the second time it lights and so does her cigarette she takes a deep breath then blows smoke from her nose, cigarette held casually between her fingers.

“Now don’t get me wrong, I love what’s he done with the world.” She leans back on the chair thoughtfully

“But his rules are ****, he’ll let evil mother ******* live for centuries, and take good people in the prime of their life.” She laughs chair legs hitting the floor with a thump as she leans over the table to pour more whiskey from the bottle.

“And that’s when he’s not y’know actively trying to ******* kill us, earthquakes , tidal waves, floods, tornadoes? The guys a bit of a **** with those.” She frowns as she sips.

“He deserves to die, and sooner or later someone will find away to do it.” She drains the rest of the glass, dropping the dog end of her cigarette into to the still wet inside.

“My turn to ask a question, where do you want the bullet, chest or head?” she drew a pistol from inside her jacket.
  21. Hero doing good for good reasons. Because you can or because its the right thing to do. Superman or Captain America.

Vigilante, doing good for bad reasons. For revenge, or because you are mental. Batman or the Punisher.

Rogue, doing bad but with good reasons. Rob from the Rich to give to the poor. Robin hood, occasionally Deadpool.

Villain, doing bad for bad reasons. Hate, greed, desire for power. Most world conquering villains.
  22. I'm open for suggestion.

The mythology I go off for Vampires, has a staked vampire rapidly becoming its natural state of decay, so a staked 9 day old body would return to the state it should be of 9 days decay minus preservatives and the coolers prior to the funeral, a ten thousand year old vampire would be come dust however.

So I'd go for these leaving a body, unless you'd prefer them not to Wolfram.

And, again, for the umpteenth time; MMO stories///!= Comic Book story, for the very simple reason that all the stories in a certain comic universe are controlled by one person/group, i.e. the writers.
In an MMO setting, you simply cannot do the same things. Yes, CoX is a game based on comic book super heroes, but it does NOT work on the same principals in practical terms, because it CAN'T.

You see I disagree, we aren't writing stories for the CoX verse, we are writing them for for the unionverse, in which case we are the same as the marvel writers, where we can write what ever the feck we want as long as it doesn't disagree with what our editors tell us (in this case the editors are the devs.)
  24. To further steal Mechanos point, human trafficking is so much more likely to happen with metahumans.

Sex slave? they are a dime a dozen, city leveling mutant? They are going to worth so much more.

Not really sure what you're arguing here I got to admit. Other than that overstepping boundries leads to all kinds of problems, which we get! Believe me we get that and have been trying to point out quite a bit!
That's the thing though Fans, why does the first one result in a long ***** topic, 'poo pooing' the idea, with various people giving long explanations why things should change IC to suit their OOC apathy and views on what is acceptable.

Yet when the people who 'poo pooed' the first idea, do the second idea, and complaints are brought up they are told to ignore it as it 'does not affect their characters', but surely twisting a canon group and its information, is effecting everyone's characters, because we are supposed to be sharing a world, no?

I could get even more venomous, but I'll try not to, especially since you're not one of those people Fans.
