  1. Efranof grunted at Pious Hunter, "Yeah. In here you say?" he pointed to the warehouse. Without checking, he takes a charge for the door the kicks it down, drawing his sword he looked around. From the black mist came several tendrils, enveloping the entrance as he walked through, an aura of fear and pain seeping from the darkness.
  2. Efranof quickly turned to the television as it flickered. "Damn thing, never get a good reception h-" he was stopped as the screen started to change, he frowned, "Mechano again?" But his thoughts were taken when the song played, when the figure on the screen stepped back, his hand tightened, his heart in his throat.

He watched on, suiting up in his body armour, grabbing whatever weapons were at hand and concealing them within his protective costume. Then the hostages came on screen, he gripped his Katana as the crazed villain sat between the couple, his eyes darkening and an eerie black mist filling the room.

He carried on watching, all up to the point that Mr Maniacle said his location. His stare towards the television caused the screen to crack before the ending, he fell back into the ground, disappearing in the darkness, only to appear in Kings Row to start the manhunt.
  3. The great robot fell over from being tampered with, hitting the ground with a great slam. A great brass arm reached out from the fog, pulling the wreckage away. Shortly afterwards, the fog cleared. The collatoral damage was clear, broken walls, destroyed cars and foot prints crushed into the road but no sign of the creations.

The storm continued but with the fog cleared the chaos started to wane. Thunder could be heard high in the clouds as bolts of lightning flew accross the sky, they must have retreated to their storm haven.

Chopped it down to ones which can be done imo... And they would ALL be awesome
  5. The creation shook from the assaults against it's head, raising both arms to knock off the hero.

Meanwhile, the other robots returned to the platform within the storm, concealed from the fog.
  6. The storm continued to fill the area with a thick fog as screams came from nearby buildings, great crashes of rubble hitting the ground rumbled through the air as the robots started aimlessly destroying walls and cars, all the while hidden in the abyss.

One brass mechanaut tumbled onto it's knee as one foot fell into a crack in the ground, scanning the area, an arrow harmlessly deflected off it's shoulder whilst it's sights came upon Whirling Dervish. Getting to it's feet, it started to charge towards the Hero, one arm raised as a club to strike her down.
  7. Efranof would use any and all abilities he had to scare them off and make them wish they had never been there.

Underthrow would likely turn himself into a magic 'bomb', throwing all of his excess magic at it in hopes of at the very least wounding it so someone else could pitch in and finish it off, although it'd proberbly kill him in the process.
  8. The storm roared upon the depot, great clashes of lightning shooting the doors down, surrounding the entrance in it's great black cloud.

The fog began to seep out around the area, thunderous foot steps could be heard but their origin could not be seen, the storm had landed.

    I13 screenies!

Frying pan (novelty size), half a barrel, wok, stop sign, piece of a brick wall.. All possible shields which'd be awesome
  10. On the subject of no heal and problems with the charge power, perhaps replace it with a +regen power? Am thinking a power called Battle Rest or something akin to that, basically works like normal Rest without the -def (still got the immob and -res), while active you also have a Rage crash effect with -dam so you can still tank/gain fury while in battle rest but you cannot really do any damage.
  11. The sound of metal hitting metal could be heard inside the storm as the hero landed inside a large, shined metal platform inside the storm. On the platform stood five great brass machines, each turning towards the single hero and raising their lightning guns.

    They fired..

(( Edit: this is my last for the night, current situation is that to everyone outside of the storm it looks like the storm is just firing bolts of lightning and causing fast winds. After shooting the hero, they're going back to randomly shooting out of the storm and heading towards the Vanguard depot. Nobody jump in til tommorow plesh ))
  12. The bolt hit the vines, setting them ablaze. Seemingly angry, the storm started to glow, firing several bolts towards the hero and any other heroes or civilians in the area,
  13. Barely before she landed, a great brass arm thrust towards her. With little time to react, she plunged the sword into the arm and used it to swing onto the metal behemoth, raising the sword again to slash at the mechanical creature when another arm hit her from the side, throwing her into the maelstrom. Spinning, she lost conciousness and was flung out to a nearby building's roof.
  14. The arrow flew it's course strait for where the object was seen, flying strait into the abyss of the swirling cloud. It disappeared, an audible plink could be heard beneath the rushing air, it hit something hard without effect.

The pillar carried on it's destruction strait for the Vanguard depot, members of Vanguard evacuating from the inevitable disaster.

Meanwhile, water levels around the city began to lower.
  15. The fog thinned, the pillar fully visible as a swirling mass of thick black clouds and debris. Gradually, the black clouds became clearer and a visible shape could be seen at it's base. It began to glow, the clouds darkened again as a great bolt of lightning flew towards the weather controlling hero.

Could you call it the Geode Shield? If I remember right, geodes are composite minerals (crystals imbedded in rock).

[/ QUOTE ] I like this suggestion. I think I'll go with this one.

    Elemental shields... <3
  17. The swirling mass stood it's ground, filling the area with a thick fog, thunder crashed from within it's core. Many did not believe what they saw but the churning pillar forced it's presence to be known.

It began to spiral into itself like a twister, then with a rush of air the pillar moved, crawling across the ground on a warpath towards the Vanguard depot. A lone unknown hero flew towards it, the pillar buckled and the hero disappeared into the darkness.

(( Going to sleep now, IC the air anywhere near the pillar is spinning around it as if trying to form a tornado but isn't able to, the bad weather had practically stopped except for no sunlight getting through the clouds. The pillar is moving about as fast as a normal human can sprint but the higher up the pillar you go the more it bends and twists, possibly sucking in any heroes that get too close and throwing them out again at high speeds.))
  18. The clouds churned in on themselves, a swirling mass of black and grey spinning into a single point. The lightning and sleet slowly calmed down, the storm cloud twisting into it's center.

Citizens and heroes alike could only watch as the core of the diminishing hurricane slowly fell towards the ground, a great pillar formed in the middle of Founders Falls.

It hit the ground, erupting into a thick fog through the streets. The sound of thunder came from ground zero, the storm had landed and something came with it.
  19. (( Sorry all, my internet gave up around 5, only just got it back up and going ))

The storm continued, it's constant churning caused hundred mile winds within the clouds. It seemed to create a mind of it's own, a glow appearing in it's very heart, a surge of lightning erupted covering the underbelly of the great cloud, offshoots attacking any heroes in the sky.

During this savage show of energy the weather on ground level grew thin, the wind dying down and the sleet growing lighter. The water systems all around the city started to flood, the city streets having an audible splash, constantly rising from nowhere to escape to.
  20. The sleet grew thicker, the wind grew stronger and day became night as the cloud seemed to block out all light. Pedestrians at street level caught in the air were toppled over, any vehicles still on the roads crashed from being blinded by the sleet, skidding into nearby buildings and other cars, Founders Falls was starting to fall into chaos.

The flaming building started to die out, being subdued from the constant downpour, if anyone survived the initial strike they would have been killed from the fire.

Lightning started striking rhythmically around the city, every ten seconds there was a thunderous boom, every ten seconds another cry for help. As the chaos continued, nobody noticed the water levels starting to rise. The sleet keeps coming down with no sign of stopping, unless something is done, Founders Falls will become flooded.
  21. The wind started picking up through the streets, rain turned to sleet and the lightning became more frequent. All around Founders Falls, citizens were running for shelter and Heroes were either doing the same or being thrown to the ground forcibly.

A small area of the great black cloud started to glow again, as if charging up for another shot. The sleet turned to rain again, and the rain to a slight drizzle up until the lightning struck, the bolt could be seen from most of the city zone, a great bolt of lightning struck a building causing a firey explosion. Then the rain picked up again, turning into sleet and ultimately back into the raging storm.

(( The storm can now be seen from surrounding zones, a fire has started in the west of Founders, it is not known if there was anybody in the building and if so if there are any survivors. Because of the storm, PPD, Vanguard and Longbow can't call in for help, if you want in you'll have to of seen it or already been there ))
  22. An off-duty PPD Officer stood under one of the many bridges in Founders to protect him from the rain as he drank his morning coffee. Ruffling the morning's newspaper, he sighed, "Damn Rikti, one of these days-" the clouds churned and the rain stopped, the officer stood out from under the bridge to see if it was the case.

The clouds swirled, slowly going from black to white, but it wasn't. The officer could only stare at what was happening, the clouds started to glow above him, but, before he could take cover, mighty thunder shook the ground as a bolt of lightning struck him and the rain started again, heavier than before.

Several blocks away, citizens were shielding themselves from the rain using whatever was at hand, only the lucky few who grabbed one had an umbrella. They looked up, unshielding as the rain stopped, shortly followed by a chorus of sighs as it started again with a clash of thunder.
  23. 10am, the skies above Founders Falls has been filled with a thick black cloud, light rain has started falling and the wind picked up. The clouds moved on their course, heading North-West, but something was unnatural about them, they seemed to be slowing down, setting anchor in the city zone.

The thunder roared again, thunder without lightning.
  24. Not sure about the idea of the Money pool, but do like the Arenaline pool, lets say...

Free Run: Auto, self +run, jump speed (75% as effective as having Swift and Hurdle), -20% immobilisation time

Adrenaline Shot: Click, same recharge/duration as Hasten, self +Recovery (1.2/sec unenhanced), +run speed (same % as having Swift), accepts Recovery IO sets

Parkour: Toggle, self +Run Speed (Less than Super Speed, more than Swift + Sprint) +Jump height/speed/movement (about the same as Combat Jumping), very minor stealth (halves normal aggro range)

Base Jump: Toggle, can only be activated off the ground, this will slow your fall speed and make you immune to fall damage, gives you forward flight at about the speed of Swift and Sprint, very slow turning and cannot move backwards, automatically turns off when you touch any ground, 15 second recharge
  25. (( Seeing the uprise of open RP threads left me deciding to start my next plot with open RP, this is taking place in Founders Falls starting at 6am with the sound of thunder at dawn ))

Thunder crashed, winds picking up high in the air as the population slept. Clouds loomed over the war walls from the South-East, the rising sun disappearing behind black clouds. A storm had appeared high above Founders Falls, churning and readying itself to strike.
