    Funny bios

I like reading people's bios when I have spare time in game (usually waiting by the mission door), and if I see one that catches my interest for one reason or another, I save it. Unfortunately, I find many more that are funny because they are bad, and much fewer that are funny because they are funny. Does anyone else do this, or am I one of the few. And if you do, by all means share!
  2. A shame Samuraiko didn't make it, a darn shame. And in my opinion it was a toss up between Leandro, 8 baller, CollegeJem, and Samuraiko. All amazing videos, really great work everyone.
  3. Love Harley Quinn in that one, and all the rest are great too.
  4. I have several screenshots of my character Scarlet Sentinal, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on doing something with them. I was thinking something along the lines of a comic, although the only picture software I have is MS Paint and OpenOffice Draw. Or if someone was inspired to do something with them, let me know and I'd be happy to see something.

Here they are! Thanks for any advice.

    Costume help

Thought I'd throw out another option for you. Just made a simple version you could draw off of if you wanted, tech wired with leaf gloves and boots. IMO, it kind of looks like vines sprouting through the wires. Nature + Technology?

    Here you go

And good choice on Bot/Trick Arrow Mastermind. That's my first and currently only 50, Scarlet Sentinal.
  6. Well, Poisonous wasn't very popular, only got 3 entries this time. At least we got a good range of poisons, the poisonous plant, spider, and frog.

    EnnVee: Poisoned EnnVee

    SlickRiptide: Lady Hesperus

    Bubbawheat: Poisonous Frog

Ok, now for round 4. Let's see... Ok I've got an idea. It might be a little too offbeat, but I'll go with it. Defebcer (aka healer)

So far so good on this build for me! Thanks for the time putting together the guide!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks for reading it, I'm glad you found it useful.

Not sure if I'll keep EMP Arrow or not. It is such a great hold, but I haven't really had any aggro management issues (very little debt so far). May keep is as a panic button, or take Stamina just for the QoL, or take Tactics, mostly to use against Night Widows and Succubus as I don't have accuracy issues. Any thoughts on that?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Personally, I don't use EMP or Tactics. I don't seem to come across either Succubi or Night Widows often enough to take a power just for them. And I almost always have a yellow lying around just waiting to be used in those occasions.

Any keybinds/macros you have found especially useful? I have a few simple macros, one to put everything in bodyguard mode, one for passive, one to put the assault bot only in aggressive, one for the battle drones only in aggressive, one to tell them all to go to a spot.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I haven't really messed with keybinds/macros, but I know there's a lot of useful ones out there. I know there's at least a couple guides just on keybinds for MMs.

Was poisonous just a bad choice?

  12. Well, it's been over a week for part two, so I thought I'd gather up the entries myself, if Chisoku or anyone else wants to judge this round (Slick seems pretty active in this thread ) And, I'll throw in my suggestion for round 3 to get a change of pace going.

    Round 2
    Aquatic

    Memphis_Bill:
    Coral Crusader
(My personal favorite here, but I always love the bio costume set)

    ArticPathos :
    Lady Goldfish (Alt pic)

    Hectic:
    Emperess Tide

    Bubbawheat:
    Fishy!

    SlickRiptide:
    'Lectric Eel

    ddgryphon:
    Three pics, and the Bather
(My personal #2 and #3 here, with the bather and Lumerian respectively. Who doesn't love old timey swimsuits, and Lumerian is simple, but effective)

    PeteyCat:
    Pacific Storm

    Next up, round 3:
    Poisonous

    Have fun!
  13. I come here to look at art and funny/cool screenshots. I post when I have an interesting/funny screenshot to share, or occasionally to comment on some art that I really like.

Or if I see someone offering free art, recently I've been trying to jump in on those too. Looking at art is great, looking at art of my own character (especially if I don't have to pay for it) is super great.
  14. Ok, I decided to try my hand to see what I could pull off. No name, as I don't have a concept to fit with her, but I was trying to see how close I could approximate a fish.

    Fishy!

I got to the point of "you know, if you squint really hard, then maybe a little bit".
  15. I'm always game to help artists with inspiration, especially if I can see one of my characters fleshed out in the meantime.

Cerulean Archer (link to origin story, not to pic):

Celina Artemis, a respected scientist and archery enthusiast never thought she would end up fighting crime during her many days and nights holed up in her research lab. Her free time was spent either at the archery range, or once again in the lab creating her own, special arrows. It was after the typical lab accident so common in Paragon City that she could now control the power of ice. The explosion also turned her hands light blue, giving the idea for her name: Cerulean Archer. The shock also turned her hair white, still kept in double buns, which she used along with the blue to form her costume, white accented with blue frostwork. Taking charge of her newfound powers, she relishes the opportunity to incapacitate formerly horrifying villains.
  16. A fairly simple one created from a fun observation that there is one word that is both a badge title and an origin title (and now also a VG name): Ghoulish. She is an undead ghoul with the power of wind and storm able to call upon her fellow fallen bretheren for aid in her fiendish deeds. AKA a Necro/Storm Mastermind.

I'm drawing a little bit of a blank on minion names though, I've currently got Zombish, Deadish, Bone, and the grave knight Skeletish. I wouldn't mind going in an altogether different direction though.
  17. It's a good thing this section is mostly off the radar, your post is quote pyramid-ing, a sure-fire no-no.
  18. Wow, I changed my mind. You just keep churning out quality work, so I've just got to add my character to your to-do list and see what you can do with her. Ghoulish. I'm sure when you get to her, you'll make her look great.
  19. This is a fun challenge to post a screenshot of yourself with the most pets under your control (I don't mean only mastermind pets, just that your name shows up under their name). The rules: no demorecords. You must have the in game display of your name under each of your pet's names. Interesting poses are a plus. This is just for fun as I can't really offer any reward, I just thought it would be an interesting challenge. Although I might send it to someone from perc, but I have no idea if they would be interested.

Opinions and comments on this idea are appreciated. Have fun!

    Satisfaction

I popped into this thread not knowing what it was about, and it took me a little while to figure out what was going on. But now that I have, I'd like to add that I think this is a great thing you guys are doing. Good luck with it!
  21. Agreed, very beautiful work, and while I would like to, I won't add to your increasing workload. Have fun!
  22. Flash Arrow is also useful for stealthing the altars, as its -perception doesn't suppress. That tip should be useful to... well, probably just me.
  23. Here is a post you're looking for. It's in the Mastermind forum and there are at least 3 bot/FF guides there. You can also post in the Mastermind forum with your current build and ask for suggestions, or look through the mastermind forum to see if anyone else has asked for tips before.
