If I look at the numbers on the program, I've got a 15s recharge FS which is enough for me.I also hit the softcap for S/L along with a decent Endurance Recovery Bonus. I ''KNOW'' there is room for more improvement but I can't seem to figure out WHERE I could improve?! Different slotting in Fire Imps? Add +Heal to Earth's Embrace? Also, do Hasten stack? It has a 110s recharge but a 120s effect :-P

If you have any advices, please let me know :-)

P.S : Do the numbers in the program reflect the real thing?
15 second on FS is good, have you been about to test it yet? I've got mine at like 19, and by the time I can use it again, most of the group is gone. So is the recharge enough on it, to use it twice in one group? I've been wondering if it is possible.

Edit: Oh and on the imps I got the Call to arms set on it, all except the def IO.

And on hasten, back in like when dr first came out, they changed it so that hasten couldn't stack, and you couldn't perma it....( until IOs came out).

All constructive help is welcome, but keep the flaming down to a minimal...

    Thanks ahead of time.

Side by side his build is inferior to mine and +4/8 even gave me some problems with some of the dmg spikes the 53 bosses were putting out.

But all things being the same, I would find a slot for the +rech proc in fissure. It's glorious. I really dont know how I managed for so long using Fireball before making the switch to stone epic. It kinda eliminates the need for siphon speed and hits more often than you would think.
Hey War what is your opinion on psi then? My guess would be good for running farms without bosses, but other than that it doesn't do enough damage.

Which server do you play on, I can log my plant/kin, and do a few farms together, I've been trying to use her, just have really got anyone to play thur with.

So in short, wait for his contest, show him your builds.

The only time I like to compete is if it's with a friend/s and we are just trying to see who is more use to their build.

The funny thing is I don't like to use earth, and I'm going to stand by psi as the best epic for my fire/kin. I got earth on my 50 plant/kin, guess which toon I don't play.

I only see bosses as a way to slow your farm down. All the baddies have the same drop rate, all the baddies have the same drop rate if they are +1 +2 +3 etc.

50s/x8 that's all I need to get purple drops. unless I'm pling lowbies, I run nothing higher.

That'd be fun. Especially if you could use Group invisibility on FFG.

Ice/Traps would be fun too. Arctic Air in group, plant Trip Mines and Time Bombs at your leisure.

Oddly Enough, I don't see Fire/Traps being too fun.
Ya somehow I see the traps blowing up with the fire setting them off, will if I think about it in real life terms that's what I see. XD
  12. lols this is a great way to spice up christmas day, I needed this, now off to work.

I will say this, where is the proof? I can say I have the highest IQ on the forums, and keep boasting about it, but without proof, people would just point and laugh at me.
  13. Let's break it down to easy concepts.

    1) Plant/kin technically has more pets, and can do more damage than a fire/kin.

    2) Plant/kin can be cheaper on the wallet, and easier to get the IOs needed.

    3) Fire/kin is easier to use since you can pretty much use it out of the box sort of speak. I've seen many people just use SOs on their F/k.

    4) Fire/kin require very little planning to use, as long as you got ff, fs, and aoe attack, and a little resist and/or def and your set.

    5) There are more builds out there for f/k then plant/kin. (that maybe due to not many posting there build.)

In the end I think neither one is any better than the other it's just more on how you feel about each one and if you like one or the other better. On the other hand, I would pick neither one, I'm more for the combos that people think don't stand a chance against f/k. But if I had to choose, I would pick f/k for the solo fact of out of the box ready.

    1) I would replace Manuevers with Combat Jumping. You could still put that LotG in it, but it's actually useful with the additional vertial movement. Or even Hover..same benefits, but can keep you out of all melee range as well. Both provide some defence as well..which is really useless in your build as it's the only defence you have.

    2) Radiation Infection: here's what I think is the perfect slotting for it:
3 Enzyme Exposure HOs, 1 Achiless' Heel proc.
With those, you would soft cap the Tohit debuff, the Defence debuff, AND End Redux too, and still spare a slot..which I would fully recommend it goes into Combat Jumping/Hover/manuevers and put a Karma KB protection IO in. You don't have any KB protection IO in the build.

    3) Switch Hurdle for Health, find an additional slot from somewhere you can spare, and throw in the Miracle and Numina's unique. You're gonna need all the Recovery you can get. (maybe use the third generic End Mod IO from stamina for this, you're replacing a 4% recovery bonus with a 10% one, fully worth it)
Ya can't believe I forgot kb pro, thanks for that and I must have pressed the wrong button for hurdle for health, must have been tired, thanks for the help.

This is my build I will use, I've got it at perma hasten and perma am, so the builds good, and I think not only for farming, but av soloing would be good as well.

i know your going the defense route but strictly from a farm build...its not needed..the mobs are easy and trying to soft cap defense on farm builds is fine on shield tanks but on a fire/kin is just a waste

you wanna maximize recharge not maximize defense..this way mobs die faster and your xp skyrockets..not cause you dont wanna be hit
The weave and maneuvers was for the extra recharge for lotgs, really nothing more, I know what ya mean by the def not needed, I seldom need the def when I farm, unless I'm doing 54s with bosses, and man if a boss hits it's still like a ton of bricks coming down, so the defence helps a little.

So yea I was wondering if anyone could post me or make me a nice farming build for 3bill..
    using mids :-)

    Thanks in Advance,

I'll humor you, and make the best build possible.

Yes, my first build had FS 6 slotted with 3 Accuracy and 3 Recharge but someone told me it was way too much.

Huh, you do realise I am here to ask for help? That might explain why my build isn't as good as it could be?!

Lucky drops and having friends helps a lot too...

I can't seem to get it to work in Mid's Designer...

    I'll choose A & B.

It seems everyone is 5-6 slotting it in this thread so far. How is it a bad thing then?

I'll take those tips in consideration when I'll respec my Fire/Kin. Thanks

It takes me usually 1-2 hits to hold bosses. Also, I had Fire Cages slotted for damage on another build and the damage gain is ridiculous. I don't think slotting it for damage is really worth it.

It is way over the cap because I didn't know what to put in there at this very moment and had 2 spare Hami.Poor choice of slotting but I'm respeccing soon.

This is all I can think of at the moment. Thanks to everyone for the information. Keep on posting, I'm always glad to learn new stuff.
Patience has been something I've been without for a long time. XD
