I gave my WP/Fire tanker another try and fixed his build and such and he is a pretty good farmer, but he is a bit slow and the build is pretty cheap. I got alot of help with his build but again, it is cheap. Now that I have done alot more with my tanker, I am looking for a better build for him to solo farm with, no matter the price. I am willing to take/drop any power if there is a good reason for it, I only really care for Fire Sword Circle, Combustion, and Fire Ball from the Fire set and Pyre Mastery set. For primary set I would say fire or spine, which because you don't want spine, you should definitely go fire. As for secondary I suggest the big three defensive: SD, WP, or Invulnerability. Scrappers have their natural talent of hitting bigger numbers with their +crit rating so have a few AoEs with decent recharge and your good on damage, but if you are going to be farming, yea IOs do wonders but you still want a balanced base so you dont have to rely on purps all the time. SD is good but is more team reliant, invulnerability i hear does wonders with resistance. I personally love Willpower (I have tankers though), Willpower not only gives the defense and resistance to basic attks and immobile etc, but gives massive regeneration and recovery that are always on. Just make sure you have rather good money to keep him enhanced to defend and/or use a good base defense like those major three.

Would anyone recommend Fire as the secondary pairing with electric armor? Yes, stone and electric do look like a perfect match but stone is so single target. Paired with fire, the +recharge in electric would give fire pretty constant Fire Sword Circle along with Combustion (And Fire Ball if you if you went Pyre mastery) for those pesky mobs. Plus fire does have some pretty powerful single target attacks with decent recharge speeds along with fire DoT. Fire doesn't have KD though. Not a perfect match but a pretty good one, though i am not an expert on these build mechanics and such i just play with whatever looks fun, what do you guys think?

I was looking and twinking with the build, took out hasten to put in Manuevers for the extra defense, took slots off of Indomitable Will (Or w/e it called) since it only defends against Psionics and put them in others for set bonuses and such. If you have time, or if anyone else viewing this page has time, take a look at this build and see what is good/bad about it, revise it, and post a better one.

The set enhancements you put on powers like Fire Sword Circle for example, you have all six Obliteration. Was it for the set? It does have a nice bonus for six but Armaggedon has a larger buff. For example Obliteration has 42.4% damage, Armaggedon has 53% damage buff. Was it for the defense buff? I am still getting up to date with all these new enhancement classes they added to the game...

Wow thanks, was just about to ask about enhancements, clicked back and your new post was there! I do see there is a MASSIVE difference in the stats, I am analyzing the build, experimenting with some other ideas and such but yours seems very rock solid. I am going to give it some time though to see if any other ideas pop up in here since i only have one respec and don't feel like doing a respec trial quite yet. Thanks alot!
Btw, i pick Melt armor because I figured it would be better than another single target attack and the defense debuff could make it a little easier on me. Best of a bad situation in my opinion. -
Alright, now it isn't well thought up, made him more for defense and I didn't buy many good enhancements because I am no good at them. Here is my current build and enhancements, I have a respec that I will probably use because of my slotting. The Pool powers I am willing to change but the ones i have are pretty standard. This is going to be a farm character so I don't really need a travel power. Please take a look, revise, and reply with ideas and such.

I just came back to City of Heroes from a break and I started to pay more attention to my Willpower/Fire tanker. He REALLY needed work, I have been doing the best i can but he needs IOs. Im planning on having this character farm mishes primarily and I am not great with slotting and getting IOs by myself. I am going to respec him but I only have one respec so please post your builds and ideas and such below. I do have Mid's Hero Designer so do put up custom builds from that here.
