Bad_Influence - You always know just how to put me in my place. By being SO COOL that you don't care. About anything. Ever. But still post about it... how you don't care. About anything. Ever.

It tickles me that you seem to spend a lot of energy wondering and worrying about what various forumistas including myself, think of you and your doings.

I can predict with a fair certainty of accuracy that the favor is pretty much not being returned. I don't think anyone is burning the midnight oil going "CURSE THAT PHILOTIC KNIGHT!!!! HOW CAN I MAKE HIM STOP POSTING HE DRIVES ME IIIIIINNNNN-SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!!"

I know that this is your fondest wish, but.... no. We're busy leveling up.

This. I really don't give a [censored] in RL so why would I attempt to here?

I love that the PvP forums have completely ignored this.

He actually posted his goodbye and a link in the PvP forums some time ago.

    Old news is old.

Jeeze... I need to get some of that then. Thanks for the replies.

Now I need to find out some cheep IO sets to get for this.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not as "necessary" as it used to be since they removed the damage buff from Domination and gave it Dominators full time with Issue 15.

The mez mag and duration increase, mez protection, and end bar refill are still nice, though.

edit: I don't think it can be done "cheaply." The lowest cost perma Dom build I have seen runs close to a billion infamy.

    [/ QUOTE ]

With a lot of penny pinching, working the market and lucky drops, I managed to get a perma Dom build for less than 11 mil.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    This.

It isn't nor has it ever been expensive to get perma dom. I do believe it took 60mil to perma my Fire/Elec and that was splurging on Soulbound's for my Mu pet. If you only tried to get things from the market and paying full price for it then I could see it being expensive. There are way to many venues to get what you need without the market.
  5. Just do like I do. I play on every server and have 2 accounts so my 50's are here and there.
  6. Not to sure but perhaps stealth and combat jumping with accrobatics would be a good fit.

Good Heavens...this thread has a lot of me on it...
Never used a bind (but cheese is still all good for me..whew)
Speed boost kills my react time...I hate superspeed for travel.
I could go on but its depressing...no wonder that kid was calling me gramps on that team in the Hollows yesterday

On the bright side I dig the song quote Steelclaw...I am a big fan of both kinds of music...country & western (Fans of the funny Belushi brother will get that one)

  8. I'm gonna try out the Earth/Nrg. I rolled one on lolVirtue since the only PvP toon I have there is a Rad/Son def. I got it to 13 earlier, so it may be awhile before I can see how it does.
  9. Elec/Therm in PvP is a nightmare to fight if you don't have any end. It does an excellent job at flooring end so it just may suit you're needs. Rad/ is a good one since you're going for a support toon.

My 2 cents: I know that's what you're going for but it pains me to see "healer' builds.

Add to it the -Res from the AH proc, and I'm taking BS so I can hit them with Poisonous Ray, I think it'd be a solid build.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Could go Lev for water spout(which takes AH proc), shark skin and hibernoob.
  11. I keep finding myself logging into either my Stone/Stone Brute when I play villains or my Rad/Sonic defender when I play heroes. Honorable mentions go to my Fire/Elec dom that I gutted to fuel the purples for the Brute.
  12. With the recent changes /EA does near /Elec dmg plus it has knockback. I'd say Mind/Elec and Fire/Elec have more burst dmg thanks to BU but Earth/EA does look nice with all that kb, Stoney and -Def.

Damn you Mel, now I have another toon to add to the list of ones to PL/IO.
The question is should I lvl my Psi/Em first or the Earth/EA?

A more mobile stoner in battle with enough recharge IO to counter granite penalties, thus not having to rely on a kin corr all the time is quite useful and deadly. Especially since there are some kin corrs that just dont understand why a stoner is always calling for SB, and some kins that refuse to apply the SB.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    This.

I've got my Stone/Stone set up that way. It can run at 20mph with granite or rooted on, has no -rech penalty and has tons of +recovery. The only thing it needs a kin for is Fulcrum Shift.

id skip both fire melee and stone armor..... Fire melee doesnt have enough pbaoe unlike the tank version and stone armor is slow, and very reliant on others or binds to get around (which means people will generally ask for a nerf because they are morons)

    [/ QUOTE ]
    K

Fire/ has very good ST dmg with some AoE thrown in while /Stone is nearly unkillable(with exception to psionics). Put both of them together and you get a pretty good combination. If you add a few IO's into the mix and you have a solid toon that requires no help from anyone with the exception of AV's and ranged flyers.
