  1. Has anyone done the math to figure out if the Performance Shifter: Chance for +End does more for your endurance than an end mod slotted into Stamina or Quick Recovery?

Additionally, I ended up putting four Numinas in all my heal powers. I've got an extra 26% heal bonus to each because of this and it is noticeable.

Finally, and I know I'll get some hate for doing this, but I took Slash out of my build so I could fit in Revive. I like to play on the edge and a late click of MoG of SM means I faceplant. I like to be able to jump right up, smash the MoG button until it fires, shield back up and go at it. I don't use it much, but when I do I, and my teammates when teamed, appreciate it. From a single-target attack chain perspective I go FU -> Strike -> Focus -> Strike -> FU -> Strike -> Focus, etc. I have enough recharge to make this happen with no delay and it seems to be working for me. I haven't tried to solo any AVs so I don't know if the lack of Slash and accompanying Achilles proc will be detrimental or not yet.
I have toyed with all the epic pools in mids, and the only ones that I ended up seriously considering were Blaze and Soul Mastery. When I asked, I heard that melt armor for scraps pretty much stinks, so I dropped that idea.

I'm steadily building up my recharge, which is lowering my def, but I have up to 128-138% rech depending on the build. Soul is giving me the 138, but I'm thinking its worth dropping 10% rech for 3% def, 5% tohit, 40% regen, 20% max HP, and some added perception (which works great against those stealthy npcs).

For the numinas vs panacea, I'm looking at a loss of 30-37.5% rech, depending on the build, if I were to switch those out.

I am still willing to try out Soul for Shadow Meld though, I just don't have the experience with it atm that would make me feel comfortable grabbing it, while this toon has had Focused Acc for a good 2 years now.

With that, you can put one slot in both focus and follow up, each with a BU proc (decimation and Gaussian, respectively). They work much better in claws than anywhere else if you can manage to cram them in.
Also, slash doesn't have an Achilles heel proc.

I decided to trade the gaussian set for 5 adjusted targeting for the 5% rech, and added the last one on to slash for Achilles heel proc.

Well, with focused acc plus a little extra +acc set bonuses, I'm pretty good as is on my tohit/acc....I very rarely miss.

Thanks for your input. I'm probably going to sit with a few Doc' Wounds until I have the Panacea I need.

The Panacea rech and LotG are read differently, if you look at your rech bonus in the power attributes section, one is defined as "Huge Rech Bonus" and one as "LotG" (or something like that). So you can have 5 of each.
  6. Here's what I've finally come up with, after a whole lotta tinkering. My focus is on recharge with a side of S/L defense.

I know I have quite a few extremely expensive IOs in here, but I also have at least 75% of what I need.

Does anyone have any experience with the Melt Armor epic power for scrappers? If so, how well does it work, and is it worth the 47% tohit that I lose from not getting focus acc?

You should ensure both memory modules in the same bank match - you can mix speeds/sizes between banks but they will all run at the slowest rated set's speed.

There's not much difference between manufacturer's but branded memory may be more reliable than generic and not much different in price. Unless you plan on overclocking stick to standard speed memory - you can install faster but it won't make any difference (can sometimes be cheaper though)

    RAM Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my computer's RAM, which currently has 2 GB (2x1GB). I was thinking of adding 2x2GB, for a total of 6GB. Would that cause any problems?

I'm also thinking of doing similar for my father-in-law's computer, which has 1 GB (2x512MB). I was thinking of just adding another 1GB total. Does it matter what type of RAM I use, so long as it's 2 identical sticks for each 2 slots? I just want to make sure that I do this right, and don't screw up either of our computers.

I'm at his computer right now, and ran the Crucial scan to see what I'm dealing with. These are his current specs:

    Maximum Memory Capacity: 8192MB
    Currently Installed Memory: 1GB
    Available Memory Slots: 2
    Total Memory Slots: 4
    Dual Channel Support: Yes
    CPU Manufacturer: AuthenticAMD
    CPU Family: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+ Model 15, Stepping 2
    CPU Speed: 2400 MHz

Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-6400, DDR2 PC2-5300 with a maximum of 2GB per slot.*

*Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory.

He also has Windows Vista atm, so he can only use up to 3 GB anyway.

A couple of specified questions, in case I didn't make anything clear:
    1) Can I have something like 2x1GB and 2x2GB installed into one machine without it causing any problem? (I didn't think so before, but a friend told me it might cause trouble down the road, so I'm second-guessing myself)
    2) Does the specific manufacturer of the RAM itself matter? If not, what does?

You don't need Physical Perfection with Regeneration's Quick Recovery, now that Stamina is Inherent. I don't see any slots in Stamina, but you enhanced Physical Perfection.

Shadow Meld from Soul Mastery makes a much better addition to Regeneration Scrappers. Getting your recharge high enough to run the Moment of Glory >> Shadow Meld >> 10s delay >> Shadow Meld >> repeat combo can be expensive, but probably produces the most survivability possible for a Regen Scrapper.
I already have all the purps, plus a full set of Panacea. I just need another 3, for powers that I currently have Doc's Wounds as placeholders. I'll look into Soul Mastery, but I'm not sure I'll go that way...I like my FA a lot.

I solo a lot, so I'm usually not fighting one enemy at a time. And the way I'm slotted, spin does more damage than focus. I usually go FU>Evisc>Spin, or FU>Spin>Evisc, with no downtime. I use the others when it suits me, which usually leaves Slash for EBs and above.

I had the debuff proc in Slash for a while, but realized that I use the power so rarely, I would be better off using the slot to find a set bonus I could grab. I'll look into putting the MoG slot somewhere else.
