  1. Today is Towel Day. Time to honor Douglas Adams.

    Quote:
A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have.[3] Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapors; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-bogglingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.
More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

    Thanks for all the fish
  2. Of all places I would like to see some Light Houses on the Rogue Isles. It would be fairly boring to have a mission of running up the stairs... but the outside appearance would be nice.

We need some of the Homeless(and Lost) to have signs like: Will work for food, My Porsche is in the Shop, Archnos/Longbow Disabled Vet...
  3. What was life like actually knowing the Keatons in the '80's?
  4. See you next Week same Brute Time, Different Brute Place
    May 28th... Ice Mistral
  5. Don't forget a little over an hour away. I think I am gonna bring Meteor Freak INV/SS @Hell Bob

I'd say a part-time farker, I don't check the set religiously or anything.
  8. Does this break Blizzards NDA with Beta... Most NDAs are like Fight Club, don't talk about it.

    Attack sloths!!!

They move faster than I thought they would. But maybe it is because they are young.

    So.....

The updater is patching... Maybe patch day moved from Tuesday to Wednesday
  12. I had it once last night where a pet did not spawn after summoning. It was very laggy and a few mapserver messages in there, I just though it was because of a connection issue. But there may be more to it.

I have in the past month or so have seen where temp pets would not show up. ie Loa Bone mostly.

    'allo?

Hi there, long time no see. Saw Prof Malice earlier...

But I was sitting on the thinking throne awhile ago and was wondering how ironic it is that Trig Palin is named after a math class he'll never pass.

Personally, I never cared for Dio's music, and didn't know anything about the man. I know he influenced a lot of people in the music industry, but that's it.
Personal tastes I guess. But I never cared for any of MJ's music, I tolerated the Thriller Video because it was cool.
  15. Scott Ian of Anthrax post on Twitter..

Congrats... I am numbered somewhere close to that, I quit counting at 10. Now if I could get all my 40+ toons to 50 that would be something... an MM, 3 Brutes, 2 Tanks, Corr, Stalker... and a scrapper at 39.8 round up he is 40

    Message from Wendy Dio
Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.

  20. Why do villains have to clear out the back room in a Newspaper mission and Heroes don't in Radio missions?

  23. The game currently has the Round "Jewel" one uses 2 colors and the other only uses one. I's like to see some of different shapes, Trianglem Trapazoid, Square, etc.
  24. I play mainly Viallains, and don't use waypoints for stores and trainers, because I know where they are. Even on the Occassion I play a Hero, I still know where all the old stuff is.
