It was only our third event (if memory serves)...so we're still learning.
Rikti invasion was nice...Halloween worked well...and the Winter Lords had some good stuff.
We noted our errors and will rectify them next time.

I just love the fact that there will BE a next time!
Thanks States!
Regardless of whether or not it's a good/bad experience, just having that little "extra" is worth it. -

Being helpful here...
GM & CS openings will be posted at this link:

Thanks Gilgamesh.

/em runs off to be second in line to apply for anything. -
Oh, and gratz to your friend working on Lineage. Being in the game industry is one of my dreams ... glad to see that there are people who are living theirs (I mean, who doesn't want to work in the game industry?

Oh, no no, I was being serious. I mean, I would literally like to hold the job position of a Game Master in CoH.
Where's Cryptic's support staff located at? I'm able to relocate
[/ QUOTE ]
look to the bottom of this board.
click on the Cryptic link.
go to their homepage.
find the "opportunity" link.
Pray that they have a GM opening.
and FYI, they are in San Jose, CA, and relocation is a requirement.

Austin, TX. Good friend of mine worked there as a GM. Now she's working on Lineage.
[/ QUOTE ]
gotcha.
I did the cryptic link / jump through hoops / to see the info.
So I'm just repeating what I was told. They mentioned San Jose, so I repeated it.
But there's nothing stopping them from having more than one location to do business from
Cryptic's homepage with Job Openings -

Thanks for the great post.
I've always wanted to make a transparent bubble with a white border/text.
Sigh, if only they'd let us use different styles (TNR, Comic Book) of text. -

Thank you for responding to my PMs, Statesman! And thank you for being understanding, CuppaJo!
[/ QUOTE ]
yes, thanks to Statesman for replying.
I almost wanted to print my reply off and frame it ... show it off to my friends saying "this is the creator of the game I play taking the time to reply to my question"
Then I realized how geek-ish that was and instead giggled like a schoolgirl while doing a happy dance around my computer when I saw that I received a PM from Statesman.
the much more mature thing to do, i assure you. -

You should find that the Cape and other "protect object" missions are now completable, whereas last week a bug existed that made them FAR harder than intended.

Thanks Posi!
I'm getting ready to attempt my cape with my alt, and hopefully we'll be able to see your changes. -

Anyone know why there isn't a Praetorian version of Blue Steel?
Wouldn't it be easy to make an evil, "opposite" villain of him called something like Red Iron?
Insignificant I know, but it bothers me
[/ QUOTE ]
Blue Steel is not a member of the Freedom Phalanx, nor is he one of their sidekicks.
[/ QUOTE ]
Thanks Positron!
lol, I was thinking the same thing as the OP.
still, it's a shame ... -
absolutely outstanding effort!
This is an extremely comprehensive guide to make me spend more time tweaking CoH
thank you CurveBall! -
Thank ye.
I thought the same thing when I first saw it a while back.
LoL, I sometimes catch myself staring at it to this day ...
*you are getting sleeeeepy* -
Just with they could do /dance# like they do with /flex.
you can /flex2 or /flex3 ...
lol, I always end up getting the hokey dance on my first try. It would be nice to pick my favorite every time.
but great post!
thanks for the summary.
