As Swissy suggested, I think making our own threads is the most clear way. So, in this thread I ought to post 50 pictures during November....

I was lately drawing outfits for one of my character. She's supposed to go to a masquarade, and what kind of outfit would she have if I wasn't limited by the game engine? These are sketches for that, and only one of them is actually part of the 50-picture spree, but I'll post them all here for show. All are rather smudgy and sketchy - no shadows/light or anything.

Last night (or couple of days this way or that way, I got confused) Pyranha was rescued from the past and after a short shopping spree in Japan she arrived in Paragon City's Galaxy Girl-statue. There was a happy reunion with Inago after excruciating two days apart.

Pyranha also met her old friend Fenx, who apparently hadn't been doing much except dated Kitmarch. The relationship tangle confused both Pyranha and Inago, even more so when Shadowe was whisked away to Doctor Temporis' labs to be "fed" ( a nicer name to 'someone inserting huge cables into him and bursting lot of energy') and Alfred boldly moved in to kiss and hug Kitmarch after which the couple left the scene. "Swingers." was the teenager's unanimous verdict.

Veskit was looking good, despite being recently blown up. He told how life in the city had been pretty much the same while Pyr and Inago had been gone. Beating up bad guys, explosions, evil masterminds and so on.

When Doctor T returned, he was amazed, or thrilled, or something to see Inago again. After some scannings (Well, it WAS prototype that was never tested, anything could've happened, really.) he declared that Inago was fine. Pyranha got told to shut up, which for once she didn't mind. Being nervous around people makes her babble, and it's hard to keep secrets when babbling.

Bluestrike made appearance as well, more hugs were exchanged (Pyranha telling Inago, See, I DO hug everyone) and mostly fashion was discussed before Pyr dozed off and Inago dragged her home to bed.

Heya,

This is character Meadow's Vengeance, that I for some reason doodled after lectures and liked one of them enough to ink it, and then later colored it (in photoshop) too. Her outfit is somewhat like that ingame, I took some obvious creative licences with the top and details.

Strangely enough, in the Japan long long time ago, no one knows how to do a decent Totoro! And they are kind of lacking the right materials for soft and cuddly totoro's as well :<

How strange, I used to check Union board to see if anyone has posted on these threads, will I forget to check Union board at all now?

Last night: A long long time ago, in Japan Pyranha and Inago were relaxing after a long day of martial arts practice and talked about changing the history. Although they wouldn't be really changing the history (or future) as they are doing what they already did from "current day's" point of view. At least Pyranha is convinced she can't do anything that would change history and in fact anything she is going to do, she has to do, since she already did so in the past. Confused? I am. Also nifty excuse for her to do whatever she feels like. Scared? I am. Just a little.

Last night:

Chi took a refuge in Pocket D as his regular haunt Tainted Rose was overrun by a bachelor party. In Pocket D it seemed to be "Wear White" night, as when he entered, seven out of the eight persons clustered about the bar were all in white. He exchanged a few words with Shadow (I forgot complete name) and Shallow Moon but when the former turned out to be a hero-fangirl and the latter all too chuffed to share his glorious tales of heroic deeds Chi decided to go see his old pal Coile. Coile as usual was surrounded with women and teased to a deep embarassement. Chi tried to offer some brotherly advice but Coile was reluctant to even consider his advice. ('Flirt back? Nadia would kill me' might not have been his exact words, the expression was terrified enough.) Rakila and Bluestrike brought the conversation back to professional level, and Freakshow's latest antics was discussed. Then Chi left to find Coile who had disappeared towards toilets some time ago. Unfortunately Chi got distracted by offers of free drinks on the way, and didn't see Coile nor the girls again that night.

Some time later Chi was making his way from Pocket D to bed, and divine guidance directed him to a lab complex where Rakila and Bluestrike were fighting Sky Raiders. (No, he was not so drunk to have gotten the address wrong and ended up there by dumb luck. Honestly.) Girls were pleased to get his help, but even the three of them were not moving fast enough to clear the place before Sky Raider enforcements came. (Again, the failure had nothing to do with him being that drunk. Really.)

Yes, and yes, if you want. It's up to you, you can make 50 full color paintings too . For me, even 50 sketches is quite a lot, I usually draw one or two pictures a week.

Maybe: There is the game-mechanics world, that no one can change in any significant way, but there is also the Paragon City that lives in our imagination when we are logged in. It is a shared imaginary vision by many of the roleplayers, and in that world changes can and do happen.

And when you want other people to share your vision and imaginary Paragon City with, you have to write your visions and changes to it accordingly.

So that indeed, in my imaginary world where my characters live and breath, there was explosion a few days ago and one heroine was reported dead. In there was invasion by Requiem's forces. In that world there was beautiful blue flower flourishing in Steel Canyon's University's Park. There, I can find a secret door in one statue's back. In my imaginary Paragon City some characters are millionares and weird scientists, angels and demons, detectives and vampires.

The game mechanics world doesn't have secret doors, nor hidden laboratories, no exotic flowers. In game mechanics world the vampire is just a scrapper, the demon is a fire blaster and the millionare is level 18 character with 200k influence.

Now, I'm not expecting everyone to play like that. We all should play in the way we enjoy. This is how I like it, and in my Paragon City changes happen.

I am a dreamer, after all .

Heya,

Coile has been talking about the Novel Writing Month and that has made me think how something like that would be nice. But I don't really want to write 50k words. But I would like to draw.

So I thought: A picture is thousand words, I could draw 50 pictures in a month. And that is what I am going to do. Not fully colored pictures, though, pencils and inks if I got the time.

Anyone else who want to join in my crazy idea? It's not as demanding task as writing the 50k words, because even if you write total rubbish, typing it up will take time but you can draw crappy pencil pictures rather fast.

The rules: Simple. Set a limit of pictures that must be drawn during November. No using previous pictures that you finish up now, though can use old sketches as ideas and models. I am going to go for 50 pictures.

I will probably be doing mostly CoX pictures, and posting them here for everyone's amusement and enjoyment

I ment from our point of view . We thought she was dead and there was much sadness. Then we found out she wasn't and there was much rejoicing. But of course she never really was dead.

Although, if this was Marvel universe *), I bet Sword would have died and the "Sword" we have now is just a copy, and then later on we'd find out that the real Sword hadn't died at all, but the Justice power had kept her alive and cocooned somewhere in the mountains and one day she just suddenly awakened. Then Coile would have the hard choice of deciding between the woman he had married and loved for years and had a baby with and his boyhood sweetheart and it takes him all five minutes to dump his wife and boy (yes, the "Sword" we know today apparently is pregnant or will be very soon) and fly off to the sunset with the woman he barely knows. Then the fake Sword gets taken over by alien hostile force and commits suicide, only she's not really dead but transported to different reality and will come back little later to win back that ******* of a guy, only everyone would think he's a hero and great guy. Oh, and great leader. And then from alternative reality comes his other daughter, and son, and nephew, and niece's dog and auntie, and they all die, get cloned, resurrected and die again.

... oh phew, this ain't Marvel.

A few weeks ago Subaiku showed interest on Samuel Blayne's non-hero profession and true love - football. He then invited her to observe and even participate to one of his practices. Subaiku was happy as a kid at christmas to throw the ball and hop along the team patterns. The well-oiled team that could move together as one reminded her of her past in relaxing and rejuvenating way. Even if afterwards the contrast to the current people around here was even starker. Opinionated, flimsy inviduals making decisions hastily and impulsively.

Then Sam had invited her to come watch one of his games and she had gladly accepted. However, during the first match she was busy with Tempest work, but yesterday Sam suggested the match on the coming saturday. The game would be played in NYC and it would take a whole day, travelling and all. Even if it ment spending hours holed up in a car, Subaiku agreed. Cars were a human thing to do, so she would do it. And she wanted to see the game.

Now Sam's dreamcatchers are placed carefully near his bed, even if the threat from Grim Shade and Grinning Nightmare seems to have passed. It was not so much of a threat as she had anticipated at first anyway, but better safe than sorry.

Last night:

Subaiku had finished constructing her dreamwards and dreamchimes and delivered a pair to Coile's apartment in Talos, another two to ment for Samuel Blayne that she left to his doorman with instructions to hang them near his bed. Also the Tempest base now sports several new handmade ornaments weaved from twigs, feathers and other nature's materials.

After that, she sneaked back into the shadows to do whatever she is doing when no one is looking. The always private and reclusive hunter seems to have withdrawn even further into her fortress of politeness and solitude since the Nightsparrow episode.

Since the question was posted on Roleplaying forum and not Creative forum, I am assuming the story in question would be part of characters current (or back) story. IE. ment to be such that is able to mesh with other characters.

When you are writing just in your own bubble, yeah, what Stasis says is exactly true. Do what you want, it affects no one else. When you write and want to incorporate your story and character with others, you can STILL do what you want. But the less blatant the events are, less The Most, The Best, The Whatever, the easier it is to accept for others.

Blowing up a skyscraper, well, that already has happened with FA at least. So if someone comes up with story "There was explosion and a 'generic building' was destroyed yesterday/last week/three years ago", personally I see that as something that could be widely accepted.

Pyr is indeed in Japan, a long time ago.
Subaiku, after Odurson healed her back to shape, has been keeping busy with constructing dreamcatchers and dream chimes to help her friends to sleep safely.
Animania is still investigating the mysterious scheme of using rats and parrots as spies.

Rest are up to no good.
