I loved this one! The Vindicators were awesome, lots of personality packed into that little scene! And Clamor was duh bomb! Very cool "Zombie roundup" with the freaks, it was a very fun read!
And as for repetitive plot, you can take any story ever written and bring it down to a cliche, it's how it's delivered that makes it good or not. -

..Dr. Phillis of the Future? *CACKLES*

*Scribbles oddly spelled name onto his hit list* -
More cryptic babble of destiny and fate! Bah! My destiny lies in my own hands, fate will bow to my will! No entity, tangible or cosmic, has a hold over my future! I'll play Lord Recluse's game for now, but let him know that I'll never serve him, and my first goal is not the downfall of Paragon City, but his own defeat!

While this would fit better in the screenshots section, I'm glad you posted it here, because that was absolutely awesome!

"Nice imbecile talk." Amos snickered, agreeing with his sister. "I can't wait til he devolves into speaking with grunts and gestures!"

I've got my character already planned.

As do I! Bwahahahahahahaha! *cough* *evil grin* -
It was hilarious to see this guy again, though he did nearly get me killed by agroing all three bosses standing at the prisoners cells! He died for me, but I just thought it was cool to see him again. It would be really awesome to see the prisoners you break out again later in game, though, maybe even fight against them!

The bloodlust began to depart as she saw her true opponent escape in the drop ship as a hero held her from giving chase with gravity. More heroes assaulted, but none were near as skilled and she slapped them away with ease. Ah well, her fun was over, no reason to stay any longer, Iron Fist said they were finished.
She looked straight at Psychic with a maniacal grin. "It's been a pleasure crushing you, we'll meet again. Don't forget Jord, or Iron Fist. This isn't over."
With that, Jord pulled off her visor and her hologram immediatly dissapated, leaving all the heroes to stand in wonderment. She spent several hours speaking to Iron Fist that night, and then several more not talking. She knew they would rule, they just needed to find those worthy to be ascended. She'd make sure they found the right people.
(OOC: It's been a pleasure, I'll cya all around!) -
Jord shrieked angrily and kicked Nightblade as he landed, causing him to roll a bit but doing little damage. He was interrupting her fight, and now he'd angered her. She was going to kill him quickly and get on with fighting Sullivan. Rushing forward, Jord backhanded Nightblade as he oriented himself, sending him sprawling back. He quickly regained his footing and started another feint, but Jord simply leapt back and pulled a chunk of cement out of the ground, throwing it at him with all her might. He ducked it, but she'd expected that.
She ran to him and jumped at him, planning to take him to the ground and overwhelm him in too-close combat. He wouldn't be able to get his sword into play, and she specialized in crushing skulls. -
Jord yanked the shrukin from her thigh with an angry hiss and chucked it right back at Nightblade, a throw that would have pierced him straight through if he hadn't deflected it with his sword. She rushed forward and jump kicked him in the face, sending him stumbling backwards. As she dropped, she lifted her hands above her head and slammed them into Sullivan, causing him to curse as he was thrown several feet by the blow.
Jord panted from effort, sweat pored down her and her right arm hung limply, but she was having the time of her life. -
Jord tried to jump aside, but she wasn't the most graceful of women and the radiation came on too fast. She avoided most of it, but her right arm got nailed and the radiation sunk in, causing her to scream with agony as he muscles seemed to twist themselves. She was going to lose!
Her vision went red, just as before, and she embraced her bloodlust. She ran forward, letting out a wordless howl, and flung herself at Sullivan, her right arm still hanging limp but her left making up for it as she directed a punch at his head, which he backstepped, but she made up for it as she landed and swept her feet out in an arc, knocking Sullivan's legs from under him. He hit the ground hard and Jord leapt into the air once again, spinning several time before straightening and streaking downward with her foot outstreched, planning on driving it through the Wolf Spider Warrior's chest. -
(OOC: Oh yeah, I know, but Jord sure as hell thinks of herself as a goddess!)
-
(OOC: Sorry, I sleep in really, really late when I've got a three day weekend!
)
Jord saw the Wolf Spider Warrior and giggled with glee as she rushed forward, looking intent to knock his head of his shoulders with a single blow. A bunch came faster than most men could possibly counter, but Sullivan wasn't an ordinary man. Bending backwards to allow the blow to sail over him, he used one leg to kick Jord in the stomach, which she hardly felt through her armor. She lifted her other fist to strike him into the ground as he was bent in that awkward position, but a blast of radiation from Sullivan's shivan arm forced her to stumble backwards for a moment, enough time for her adversary to scramble away to a better position.
Jord rushed again, coming on faster than it seemed possible with that armor on, but Sullivan wasn't surprised and already had a mini missle streaking toward her from one of his shoulder pads. Reflexes that seemed impossible to even a super human allowed Jord to grab the missle and throw it behind her, where it smacked into an Arachnos troop with a loud and resounding explosion.
"You're very skilled for a mortal." the goddess laughed with a manical grin, "But I doubt you can keep this up for long!"
In truth, she hoped he could, because this fight was giving her a rush greater than any she had ever known. She struck at Sullivan again, sending him stumbling backwards as she punched his chest with a forced that would liquidize most men's ribs. -
Jord looked slightly skeptical, she couldn't see how these worthless pieces of metal could possibly make an accurate copy of her raw power. Still, she wanted to fight, and slipped into them feeling rather ridiculous. She clenched her fist and was surprised the metal didn't turn to powder under her grasp, this equipment was made of tough stuff.
"I feel like a fool. What am I supposed to do now?" she said dryly. -
"Freak boy?!" Billyboy growled as he flipped off the game and threw it to the side, standing up his full height and a little more as he lifted slightly off the ground to look imposing. He wasn't about to get walked over on the first day of school, no way, he'd never be able to show his face if he just turned tail and ran. "Listen up, buddy, I've got this room marked on my schedule card, so either you're half retarded or just a stupid [censored]! I'm not leaving, I'm already unpacked, so just walk away with your tail between your legs before I have to get rough with ya!"
His lanky figure became several times more frightening as his eyes suddenly seemed to set aflame, radiating a hot white energy. He slammed his fist into his palm and his hands lit up as well, looking like small circular storms of whirling energy. That should be enough to scare the guy off. He hoped. -
"More than anything." Jord said grimly as she stood. She wanted to crush those idiots. She wanted to destroy those heroes who dared to oppose a goddess. She wanted revenge! She would have it!

This is what he got for being honest with his parents. Shipped off to Paragon to train his powers. For gods sake, hed been fighting crime since he was thirteen when his powers developed, before his parents had even a clue! He did not want to be here, he knew what he was doing, but his parents absolutely insisted that he was too reckless. Too reckless! Hed like to see them stare down an evil genius and an army of killer robots, fight ancient monsters from the depths of the earth, or battle radioactive thugs! He didnt need some old fart to tell him how his powers worked, he could do it fine! Hed been trained, after all! Well, the training had been cut short when his mentors were both killed the first week, but still
Well, he couldnt entirely blame his parents, he supposed. Politics had had a hand in this too, somewhere. Hed been getting tips from a military organization called STUDS for a while, and theyd made the deal with his family to send him here. That proceeded to make him angrier, why would they think he wasnt good enough when hed been doing missions for them for three years!?
Billyboy just shrugged and clicked on his mp3 player, turning on an angry song to fit his mood. These clothes were totally lame, he wanted to wear his costume if he was gonna have to do this, but noooooo. He was being forced to work with amateurs! Nobody else from the Caper Brigade had been forced to come!
He found his room after a little pointless wondering he made look like a perfectly normal stroll. One side of the room was already decorated, but he didnt even bother to examine his room mates stuff. He just plopped down on his bed and began unloading his things, throwing them to the floor, in the closet, under the bed, and on his bedside table, then proceeded to take a portable game system out of his pocket and begin playing, not even bothering to organize it. If his roomy complained, hed set them straight!
(OOC: This sounds like itll be a ton of fun, Blarg! Cant wait to see where it goes!
For anyones info, Billyboy is an invulnerability/energy melee tanker. Hes strong and tough, but a bit of an idiot when it comes to fighting right. Hes basically a free energy generator, but he can wear down if he tosses too much around, which tends to happen when he uses his flashy fighting style he call Raz Mataz. Think of the power unstoppable, he can take a lot of damage and dish it out, but all the sudden hell found himself worn out.) -
Jord watched the chaos with interest. She wondered how he had gotten double agents on both sides, it was like he had been planning for the breakout. It didnt look like it would really mean anything, however.
The spiders are about to scuttle away. She said angrily. Theyll take the Arachnos loyal men and yours, youve wasted your time. -
Jord smiled and walked back to her quarters, feeling the wonderous material that made her armor the whole way. She was amazed, she'd never imagined her life would lead her to such greatness. Before she had lived for money, now she lived for power. And so much power she had!
The goddess entered her room and stripped off the prison garb, happy to be rid of the disgusting thing. She leapt into the lake and washed herself of the Ziggursky's rancid stench. She got out and let the air dry her, she was in no hurry at the moment, she was contemplating too many things. Her mind was buzzing with new notions and ideas the former mercenary had never brought to mind when she was an ignorant mortal.
She walked out in her armor, letting her hair fall to her shoulders instead of her usual ponytail. Nothing was the same with her anymore, it was like she wasn't even the same person. And she really didn't mind, Vim had been a fool. Jord was strong. She wouldn't be beaten by a foolish young man with an undeserved sense of self appreciation.
"Let the plan begin." she smiled to Iron Fist. "I'd like to hurt them." -
Yes. Jord whispered as she walked forward, examining the room from every angle with more than a passing interest. Shed never dreamed of living in such a wonderous place. It sure beat her old apartment, which she had never liked. In fact, this room seemed a hundred times more beautiful now that she looked back at the homes in Paragon. She never wanted to leave again, she wanted to stay here with Ares for the rest of her life. Of course, they were immortal, so that would be a very long time. She could be unopposed forever.
The vision of the hated hero, Billyboy, floated to the forefront of her mind. She growled ferally, causing Iron Fist to look at her inquisitively. Jord wanted revenge for the embarrassment heroes had caused her. Revenge for the villains who used her. Revenge for all of Paragon City and their stupid Ziggersky!
Clothes. Jord said angrily. We'll go back to Paragon and take over. First, fitting clothes. -
(OOC: Hope I remember Atlantis accurately, send me a PM if you want me to edit anything about it!)
Jord, formerly known as Vim, stared out her window with almost child-like wonderment. The city was beautiful, it shined like the sun, with spires and elegant structures dotting every bit of it. The vehicle closed in and she could only watch.
"Atlantis?" she finally gasped. "We live here? Amazing. King and Queen." -
Vim smiled, why would she care for the life of a weakling? No, she was impressed with Iron Fists display of mercilessness. She liked watching people get hurt, though most of the time she was the one doing the hurting. Watching people fall miles into the ocean was just as good, and twice as funny. She looked to Silver Skull and wished he had pushed him off instead, he was useless. Maybe she would do it herself.
She giggled and rubbed up against Iron Fist dreamily, she had never thought anyone could make her this happy, before only her solitude and money could do that. No, that had never come close to this. She vaguely wondered if she was falling in love, contemplated if that was a weakness, and came to the decision that Iron Fist would make a wonderful husband to a goddess such as herself.
Name. she said.
Whats that? Iron Fist asked.
Whats the name. Of the goddess. My new name. -
Vims chest heaved with battle lust, her eyes looked glazed over, yet she was more aware of everything around her than she had ever been before. Iron Fist didnt need to cast any spells to convince her, she was absolutely hooked on power. She looked at him with a wicked grin and began laughing as she shoved Skull out of the way and put her arm around Iron Fists, looking into his face with a lustful expression.
More. She said simply. -
Aint going nowhere?! Vim laughed. What is this, cowboy hour?! Im gonna freaking kill you!
She leapt forward angrily, swinging her fist with enough force to send the heros head rocketing off his shoulders. Luckily for Wraith, he could teleport, and disappeared in a flash before Vim could connect. She stumbled into another nearby hero and took the opportunity to give him a vicious uppercut, sending him flailing into the crowd. Her eyes were alight with fiery passion as she turned and attacked again, barely missing the hero again and nearly taking down one of the towers as her fist connected with stone.
(OOC: Id write more for this, but Im not really sure what Wraiths powers are, so go ahead, Gideon.)
