ahhh pre-ED days on my scrapper spines/regen, hell pre I4 with instant healing 5 slotted for heal.
those were the days of fun (for me)

short of PMing a hero or villain on completion of a mish to find out what the buff is at (or debuff), is there a way to find out myself?

Thanks guys will check out those threads now. Just wondering though about your comment on Bitter Freeze Ray, is it really that pants? Thought havign two holds would mean I could stack them madly to hold tankers? lol or is that wishful thinking?
One of the key things I wanted was 2 holds in the set, although with all the other debuffs I've realised it won't be a MAJOR loss, but would still like it.
How does it compare to the first hold for duration/magnitude wise? I see it does a touch more damage but them, what is the activation time on it? (I use Electron Haze a lot on my Rad/ lol and thats an insane activation time, can't be worse than that can it?) -
Wanting to make a PvP character, got a Rad/Kin lvl 38 corruptor and whilst fun, just doesnt seem to do enough for PvP.
Just this second made an Ice/Ice one but is that overkill? /Ice seems nice as it has pbae stealth, -fly, and a hellalot of slows, but is it too much when stacked with Ice/?
Was also lookin at Ice/Kin, but leaning less toward that as I've done a /Kin to 38.
Or is there another powerset combo that is great orientated towards PvP?
Oh and btw, I guess Acrobatics and Combat Jumping are a must? And if I take Ice/Ice then Aid Self and Aid Other are a must also? Will make for a very very tight set if I need Stamina, Aid Self and Acrobatics.

SO how are these two sets, never used Ninjitsu but have had a Regen Scrapper (pre I5, when IH, was godlike), but wondering which fits more nicely? Gonna choose Claws as a primary if that helps decide matters. I see QR has been replaced, which was oen of the three big ones from Regen, so deters me from it, and also a Stalker isn't really about taking the damage to regenrate it now is it? But as far as PvE and PvP goes, which woudl be the most versatile/fun?

ok, AS is good, but is hasten really my next choice? with LR i dont have any probs with my attack routine, jes wonderin, got my sights on lightnign field, but, meh, denno, meh :P

btw is there a limit ont he numebrs of respecs you can achieve? or can you do the task multiple times per lvl range to get them? -
Righty, stomped through 28 and 30 to get combat jumping and superjump, and had a thought, why not take air superiority over one of my current attacks (jab or punch, yes also have haymaker and KO blow) to get fly as my travel power, thus freeing up one of my 28 or 30 slots for another power?
Don't have a builder so cant paste a funky pretty thing but atm I look like this:
SS: Jab, Punch, Haymaker, KO Blow, Rage
ElA: Charged Armour, Conductive Shield, Static Shield, Grounded, Lightning Reflexes
Also: Stimulant, Aid Self; Swift, Hurdle, Stamina; Combat Jumping, Superjump
Now, I'm told AS is a great attack, only reason I didn't get it before was because I liked the smashy effects and sounds of my SS attacks, call me a girl later :P, but when I respec and grab AS and Fly, which one shoudl I replace, Jab or Punch? Would be more inclined to replace Jab as that's the lower damage of the two, can fill in with brawl but with LR and rec.red in them punch comes up pretty damn quick anyway.
So let's say I do that, which power should I take? Was thinking of taking Lightning Field, but how is it damage wise? With fury and all that does it make noticeable damage? Or is it just an endurance drain for no noticeable effect? Was thinking about Handclap but no idea at all how that is, haven't heard about it much on the forums so can only imagine no-one takes it, thus it isn't too good (or there's a better choice at any time out there).
Of course I could replace both Jab and Punch, for Boxing and AS, leading the way to Fly as well as Tough.. but that seems, I dunno, a bit, well, dunno lol, thoguhts please?
Already have 32, 35, and 38 mapped out for Footstomp, Power Sink, Power Surge.
Tried going withotu a travel power using sprint+swift+LR, but really a bit meh for my liking, used my temp travel powers til I hit 29 when they all ran out, rest of 29 til 30 only running ghetto-superspeed just felt a bit meh, I wants my travel powers!
Anyhow, any particaulr power I should chop and change and not miss out on?

the run speed is nice, mine are all single slotted for run speed, dashing around nicely, just ran out of my temp travel powers, picked up superjump. however im gonna ditch the jumping line for AS and fly, means i can ditch jab or punch to free up a skill for something else, tight build and all that.
but just legging about with LR+swift+sprint has done me fine since lvl 22, only used the temp travel powers for vertical movement. only problem is if you do happen to charge through a purple con spawn they will agro you, unlike SS and SJ if u land in them for a pslit second :P -
didnt wanna regret dropping aid self over health if it wasnt all that, such a tight build tho with these two sets bu havign fun for now nevertheless.
think tough will have to wait a while and i may not get conserve power at all, but still keep stamina and use power sink whenever.
bad thing is i still took jab, punch, haymaker, KO blow, bu wil substitute either jab or punch with Boxing when the time is right leading into Tough nicely.
I don't get all the fuss about AS though -

Just properly gimped up my SS/ELA build by getting Hurl, sure looks funky but never use it for real with that draw time.
So I'm gonna get Grounded instead, always intended to.
However, was just wondering, a 3-slotted Health is how effetcive? Never tried it before, was wondering if a 3-slotted health could be better to have over Aid self as it allows me to get Tough a lot earlier..
Spose it all comes down to damage mitigation, Tough and 3-slotted health over Aid Self? Experiences, raw numbers, any advice really wanna use this respec ASAP :P
Also tempted to dabble in Conserve Power and Power Sink to replace Stamina ... :P but that's for another respec.
So should I keep Aid Self, or get Health.
