  1. My first toon was a dark/dark/dark defender and I had a lot of fun playing him. I currently have a Dark/Dark/Soul blaster up to lvl 47. After I finish my blaster I cannot decide if Iwant to play a dark/dark controller or a dark/dark dom. They are both going to be made but, I just dont know which one to play first...lol

    I have suggested this idea a long time. I thought it would be nice to have the following:

    1. Gleaming Bolt/Shadow Bolt
    2. Summon 3 Human form Kheldians (one pet will use Glowing Touch)
    3. Gleaming Blast/Shadow Blast
    4. Embrace the Light (Pet Buff)/Embrace the Dark
    5. Luminous Detonation/Dark Detonation
    6. Summon 2 Nova
    7. Summon Photon Seekers/Dark Extraction (can only use on a defeated pet)
    8. Summon 1 Dwarf
    9. Luminous Empowerment/Umbral Empowerment
  3. I am having a blast playing a DP/Psi Blaster. I can solo a +2/+8 AE missions with no problem at lvl 44. I have never played a DP corrupter so I dont know if there is a big difference in damage.
  4. I just got done lvling a Dark/Energy Blaster and a Psi/Poison Corr for PvE. Which one of the two would be better for zone PvP and arena?

    A MM and a scrapper/tanker toons always seem to be a good fight, so I would matched they up with melee.

    Is the PvP going to be a team or 1vs1? I say we start off on a 1vs1 and see how that goes. I do think we should do 2 different ladders. One for melee and the other one will be for everything else. We can call it Melee Mondays and Fire Power Fridays...lol At the end of the season the winner of the two ladders will duel for the final rank as best over all.

    This is just an idea....
  8. Thanks to having up to 3 builds per AT and I used them all on my Arachnos Soldier. My first build is for teaming and it is my Huntsman build. When I play this build I enjoy staying at a distance and debuffing the target while using my Call Reinforcements for additional damage. My second build is my Bane Build and I mainly use him for Task/Strike Forces and Incarnate Trials. The heavy ST damage for AV's with the addition of some cone attacks for the adds are great and I like not having to redraw my weapons. My last build is my Crab build and I use him when I solo since he is able to get the most pets and is one tough SoB. I currently have 8 pets to include my Arachnos Lore Pets that help a great deal when soloing.

    I am game and it sounds like fun. I like the idea of a boot camp and we can start off small and working our way up. I have been out of PvP for almost a year and it is time to get back into it.

  11. I have been toying with the idea of a Dark/Dark/Soul Mastery Blaster for solo missions. It has a Self Heal, cone immob, targeted AoE stun, and ST hold in the primary/secondary. Soul Mastery with Oppressive Gloom will stack well with dark pit. It will fit a theme and be effective in solo missions.

    We can do radio missions or any mission people want to do. Once we are all at the right level I want to do TF as soon as we are able to.

    I did not use any insps, geas, archmage, lore pets or judgement. I did use musculature alpha, reactive interface, and ageless destiny.

    The build has perma hasten, perma lightform, and perma inner light (with some overlap.)
    Is the damage difference noticed with the musculature alpha? On mids it shows that my damage is bumped up from around 70-100 point of dmg per attack. Just wondered if this was true.
  16. The one thing I like about my human form PB is that he is self sufficient. PB's have 2 heals, 1 recovery power, Self Rez, Tier 9 (that can be turned perma), Phase Shift, and even an Ally Heal. They can be played as a range even jump into melee when needed. In my opinion PB's are a jack of all trades, master of none and that is why I love to play them.

    When I play my Tanker, I tank, when I play my Blaster, I blast, when I play my Scrapper, I scrap, etc.... When I play my PB I can change my playstyle for to fill in the gaps in teams. PB's will never replace an AT, but they are well rounded enough to be a great addition to any team.

    Farming Dom?

    When I used to farm with a Dom I used a Fire/Fire/Mu, but when we were able to use APP I switched to a Fire/Fire/Fire. If fit my theme and was very effective as well.

    It'd be equally as unlikely for that pet to be controllable. That's still a Mastermind thing, even if Incarnates break the rules.
    A single summon without the ability to control is a more reasonable suggestion.

    I do think changing the Photon Seekers to something similar to Dark Extraction would help a great deal; however I would not like to see a clone of the power with a PB color change.

    How about using the old Light Form animation and create only one pet and name it Protostar. This new pet will be your primary pet and will have its own range attacks and can be killed, healed and buffed. It will also summon Photon Seekers the same way Protector Bots from the mastermind set creates Seeker Drones. By doing it like this, I believe some players will still be happy to have their Photon Seeker and now they have a new pet to tag along during fights.

    I would like to be able to create more than one Protostar at a time so it should have the same recharge time and duration as the Dark Extraction; however if someone thinks that more than one will be overpowered then give us just one pet and the ability to control it like the new Lore Pets. By doing this I believe being able to cast one Protostar at a time will be enough.

    I really like the changes to the survivability of the PB that were made. Now all they need to do is somehow bump up the damage. Any ideas on how to bump the PB damage without making the AT Overpowered?
