Of course, Dwarf form is the mighty Claw Shrimp. Lives in the deep. Big as a man.
Anyway, I guess my funniest is - I was on a team with a second peacebringer, we were hitting one of those lab rooms with the hallway circling the larger central room with catwalks, a balcony, and lots of cryptic machinery. Anyway, we hit the entrance, and the other peacebringer zooms in just as I say "There'll be a quantum/void boss up there."
And then he dies, because there was. -

Having played WoW for little over 3 years at one point in time, I can vouch for that. Tuesdays were generally little to no playtime for anyone depending on how badly the patches messed things up. Not my most favorite of days.

I'm unable to login.
I've already messed with my firewall to clear the necessary ports, but I still can't login.
Server status page says all servers are up, and the help page says that sometimes firewalls will block access after a patch, even if you have the necessary ports open, but I'm now kind of at a loss as to what to do next. -
My best character name (at least that I can recall):
Harsh Mistress, Gravity/Energy dominator. She was supposed to be Devnull, but that was taken. -

That's part of the larger difference that while Americans will invent new words to describe things, the Brits don't see why one should do that while there is a perfectly serviceable word already available. That's why we use the word "Flashlight" while they use the word "Torch". When the flashlight was invented, the word "Torch" was just laying about relatively unused, so they just picked it up, dusted it off, gave it a new coat of paint and there you have it.
Same with the "F-Word". It is, as has been pointed out by George Carlin, extraordinarily versatile. So it's only natural the British would gravitate to using it in all it's utility. -

Ah, yeah: I was playing and talking Dark Armor before most of them were around. Back when, god, the only names I remember are Hung Lo and Confessor, but there were others, many of whom left long ago.
I primarily focus on my DM/DA when I play, although I've tried to level numerous other scrappers over time. Right now, I'm just biding my time, waiting for the devs to admit the obvious and give scrappers access to SS, SM, and EM. -
The controller's role is frequently used in other MMOs, it's just that you don't often see it as it's own class. In WoW, for example, CC is frequently a job for DPS, with healers occasionally called on to handle it.

But yes, spelling is a quirky regional thing. There's the proper English language with the right spelling and then there's the US way of doing things.
