Of course, Dwarf form is the mighty Claw Shrimp. Lives in the deep. Big as a man.
Holy crap, someone else calls dwarf form "Claw Shrimp!"

Anyway, I guess my funniest is - I was on a team with a second peacebringer, we were hitting one of those lab rooms with the hallway circling the larger central room with catwalks, a balcony, and lots of cryptic machinery. Anyway, we hit the entrance, and the other peacebringer zooms in just as I say "There'll be a quantum/void boss up there."

And then he dies, because there was.

And that would TOTALLY go to my head. Pretty soon I'd be passing out fish and loaves of bread by the dozen, walking on water, and turning lead into gold and water into wine. In my head at least. So yeah, time to put that idea out of it's misery before it's too late.
Hey, at least you're modest, right?

Somewhat unexpectedly, today was, in fact, a major release patch day for WoW.

And we're still raiding with broken UI mods.

    Thank you.

Now I'll leave my beleaguered modem alone.
  7. I'm unable to login.

I've already messed with my firewall to clear the necessary ports, but I still can't login.

Server status page says all servers are up, and the help page says that sometimes firewalls will block access after a patch, even if you have the necessary ports open, but I'm now kind of at a loss as to what to do next.
  8. My best character name (at least that I can recall):

Harsh Mistress, Gravity/Energy dominator. She was supposed to be Devnull, but that was taken.

All this whining (whinging) about slightly different spellings is pretty silly, considering.
I doubt anyone's seriously complaining about spelling.

When the flashlight was invented, the word "Torch" was just laying about relatively unused, so they just picked it up, dusted it off, gave it a new coat of paint and there you have it.

Same with the "F-Word". It is, as has been pointed out by George Carlin, extraordinarily versatile. So it's only natural the British would gravitate to using it in all it's utility.
But you see, torches are on fire and all you British people are confusing the issue by calling an innocuous not-fiery light source a torch!

    Muah Ha!
Now it's just a simple matter of debunking the rumors that you spend 35 hours a day farming purples. Care to comment?
  13. And so many who left while DA was given insufficient buffs and excess nerfs! I don't think a lot of them have come back.

Katana/DA is my favorite combination in the game...been playing it for the longest of any of my other characters. Build has gone through multiple changes from beginning of not understanding the game and not picking up stamina until lvl 30 to its current incarnate that has little room for improvement IMO.
    I am shocked and appalled.

Ah, yeah: I was playing and talking Dark Armor before most of them were around. Back when, god, the only names I remember are Hung Lo and Confessor, but there were others, many of whom left long ago.

I primarily focus on my DM/DA when I play, although I've tried to level numerous other scrappers over time. Right now, I'm just biding my time, waiting for the devs to admit the obvious and give scrappers access to SS, SM, and EM.
  15. The controller's role is frequently used in other MMOs, it's just that you don't often see it as it's own class. In WoW, for example, CC is frequently a job for DPS, with healers occasionally called on to handle it.

Gone for nearly two years, were you?

    Welcome back.
    Thanks...

I was gone for nearly two years, with a single month last June that a friend paid for while I was dealing with a lot of stress and very little money, but it appears none of the posts I made then survived.
