Not to the extent it would be if the cool down timer was shorter. As it is now the 6+ hour TFs you will be able to use it maybe 3 times. Im guessing maybe once. It may save you 2-3 minutes of travel for the team. Big deal, 5 minutes is nothing when you are running a 6+ hour TF.
Again, it would server a better purpose if it had a shorter recharge timer. And would be well worth me spending 40.00 for it for both my accounts. Right now its not worth 9.99 for my account. -

As for the entire costume thing, I got the cyborg pack and didnt use the full set on any one character. I used pieces on many many characters, though. And I already have in mind certain of those pieces for some of my characters too. I'm getting it because for 5 bucks, even if the teleport is 2 hours, its darn only 5 bucks and I also get costume pieces I want. Heck, I'd do it only for the wings!

Organized and Veteran (enough) players may be able to teleport every 25 minutes making the shard TFs actually interesting.
You just got to alternate the teleport to missions and make sure everyone in the team has the vet team teleport power, if not Teleport Friend or Teleport Team. Could drastically cut on completion time of those Shard TFs, and you bet your @#$ you will see optimizing teams running perma teams (groups of people always teaming together) doing this.

My reference to the Shard has nothing to do with speed runs, that is happening now, I'm doing them now as well. The power is more of a convenience to the player who do not have the desire to team or run the TFs, there are still contacts out there that offer mission. So this power would be nice to have for those who don't have flight or hate using the geysers. -

Nothing in this game is a must have, as EvilRyu has already said. A 30 minute timer would have been a much better cool down timer than 2 hours.
I find some mission on average take about 30-40 minutes unless of course you are skipping most of the mobs and doing it for speed.
I think with a 30 minute timer it would serve its purpose a lot more. And it may entice people to run more of those long so called epic TFs in the Shard.
The power only does one thing, gets you to your mission faster, it does not earn you xp, it does not kill the mobs for you, so there is no way you can call it overpowered just because it can get you to your mission faster, otherwise, you may as well say the Ouroboros Portal is overpowered as well. Hell even bases with Telepads could be considered the same thing. -

Please, this game is a [censored] time sink and thats all it is, this power would not hurt a damn thing if the cool down period was shortened a great deal.
You can post anyway you want when it comes to zoning to other zones to get to missions, this power saves you what a whopping 1 minute by putting you at the mission door.
Yeah, I can see how this can be used to gain a lot of XP. So please increase the timer to 5 hours, we need to slow people down even more. -
You know, I was just thinking. If this power's recharge was a lot less than what it is now. We would probably see a lot more people in the Shadow Shard.
Just a thought, cuz I know how the devs like us to play the "content" they make. This power would entice more people to use the zone. -

Providing you are a costume junkie, sure its great. But for those of us who could care less about sporting the same costume around as about 500 other people on the server, I would like ot spend my money on the temp power. And with the way the timer is set now, NCNC will not get any extra money from me.

I'm sorry but I think the entire PvP change is a well lets say I will refrain from saying what I think they are.
You lose almost ever good PvPer in the damn game and then when you realize how much you lost you give free activation weekend and now all of a sudden arena gets a choice on the pvp changes. Looks to me you lost quite a bit of people and now you are desperately trying to get them back.
Well what about the zones, if you are doing this for the arena then the zones should have that option too. I mean what the hell is the point of these changes in the first place if giving a option in the arena.
Seems to me ya'll doing what you can to get these players back. Well sorry to say it but these pvp changes should have never happened.
PvE'ers do what they want to do and that is PvE, PvPers do what they want and that is PvP. Now you are just showing favoritism to the arena players and telling the rest of us who enjoy pvp zones to screw off, use the arena.
You seem to want to slam the PvP system down everyone's throat trying to get more people in the zones, yet all you are doing is hurting the existing players who did not leave the game already due to these changes.

Time consuming, and now, I will have to rely on taking from members personal storage to contribute to the SG. WIth the old base salvage no one used it except for empowerment buffs, the rest was given to the base. Now personal salvage will need to be requested of the entire group. But as a SG, everyone contributes, its just the thought of having to ask for it now.

Ive personally been paying the Scrapper version of Shields.
I can say, I feel it is ok, not as good as the other sets, but the only thing I think would be a good start for the set is allow the Team Buff to be applied to the Shield caster as well.
Sort of like Mind Link, it effects you and your team. And now that I think of it, are there any AOE team buffs out there that does not effect its caster? I can't think of one.
As for the endurance, I would always feel more comfortable with a bit more, but for the most part I find it ok, I just find myself resting more with this set than any other. -

Beta testing normally last about a month maybe a month and a hald max. So we wouldn't even get to test any of the accolades at all. Unless of course you lower the numbers or say beta will last more than 2 months. -
I love badges, but to me this is dissapointing to me. 30 days is just a tad bit long to earn a single badge. it was bad enough with the other epic badges. Wereally don't need to go down that road again.
2 Weeks to me seems more or less a better time than 30 days per badge. Which would equal 1 accolade per month. -

I've been here since day one and I agree that the epics should be lowered and that earning prestige for your SG also counts towards the Influence badges...I had my hero badge character (Energizing Ion) in SG mode all the time until about 2 months ago when I was trying to get all the badges...It doesn't make sense that prestige shouldn't count towards the badges....unless they made new prestige only badges... :P
I would really like for them to lower the epic badges (influence, damage and healing....and the pillbox one in RV)

Well as much as people say they would like the prestige to count for the Influence badges. I would have to disagree with this, as the prestige is earned for the SG not your personal hero or villain.
As for the prestige badges, I believe this was in the works and was scrapped after further review of the way the system works. So I highly doubt we will see these badges, but I can only hope
As for the others like Healing and Damage taken, I could see these being lowered to make them more realistic, as for the influence badges, I feel these are fine, they are far fetched but they can be earned by normal game play. -

Absolutely not, I welcome them. That is my fun in the game I enjoy the most and thats the badges. Of course the content is a major part but the most of it comes from the badges and being with friends while earning them. -

Yes, I have all the influence badge now. Yes, they were very hard to get and took loads of missions and TFs for this. Will I try to get this on another hero or villain, Hell no, too much work for a shiny to be honest.
I can say this as I have all the badges, I would not object if the devs were to lower these requirements for others. I have been here since day one and recently obtained all the badges and its been a little over 3 years now, and it is a great achievement, but at the end of everything, all you have is a lot of time in the game with no extra powers or anything other than to say you have them all.

Just to let you know out of all of these epic badges, there is only one badge that I truly feel has any worth to me and that is the Leader badge for the 2 billion influence.
Next would be the Bug Hunter, but thats a different topic.
