  1. Lord knows all my fishing trips ended in tears.
  2. Just a reminder: There is one more new Futurama episode this year, the Holiday Special! It will be Tales of Interest-like in concentrating on the 3 major holidays in the future: Xmas, Robonakah, and Kwanzaa.

It airs tonight on Comedy Central at 10 PM EST and reairs at 11 PM.
  3. I was refering to the fact that if we used the alcohol for Molotov cocktails, they would be a disturbing lack of rum.

I studied under the great Jack Sparrow, excuse me, Captain Jack Sparrow when discussing uses of alochol.

    Un-freakin'-believable.
I especially like that someone made a sign with The Swedish Chef!

Perfect zombie killin' supplies. Get a few rags, some matches and you've got yourself some Molotov cocktail fun!
    But what about the rum?

Which is why I say ex-wife.

Cause I am sure Natalie will find me annoying and stupid and leave me shortly after the usual quickie Hollywood wedding.

You guys can have the life-long love affair. I am the mistake that happens when they are young. And I am fine with that!

  9. Love the GL Corp one.

And I'd pay big bucks for a picture of just Gambit from that style in the X-Men one.

Natalie Portman is my future ex-wife.

Along with Anne Hathaway. And Allison Brie has recently entered my ex-wives territory.
  11. I want a big screen adaptation of Aesop's Toad and the Scorpion, dangit!
  12. The villain of the next movie definitely needs to have some sort of drive to find out Batman's secret identity. It would bookend nicely with Ra's knowing about Batman/Bruce Wayne in the first movie and is a natural progression from TDK where there was a (lazy) task force trying to find out Batman's true identity. Now that he is really being hunted, I can imagine the police are pressure to uncover that little nugget.

    Hmmm, interesting.

Is it December 7th yet? I want the DVD!
  17. I also like the idea that Inception is Nolan's love letter/criticism of moviemaking, with Leo being the director, JGL being the producer, Ellen Page as the set designer, Tom Hardy as the actor, Wantabe is the financer, and the chemist, uh, being the SFX guy.

Also is funny to consider that Leo and Nolan look kinda alike.

Well, there is "I'm going to kick your ***" crotchety (See: Air Force One) and then there is this type of crotchety "I'm too old and tired to be dealing with this stuff." I'd imagine that's also the type of crotchety he plays in Morning Glory.

I love it when Harrison Ford plays crotchety.
  21. I am a Lost fan. I take delight in thinking about all the possible explanations

Actually, I do believe the ending was in the real world, but clearly Nolan wanted to leave it as ambiguous as can be. And I dig.

    I hope.

Terri has grown on me since the tail end of the fake-preggers storyline (It helps her uncomically over-the-top "comical" sister is nowhere to be seen in the past year or so). I'd hate for her character and Jessalyn Gilsig to be written off the show like she was last night, with basically a single line.
