Yeah, just now saw the latest video after my last post, grabbed some screenshots of the gloves and boots, didn't account for the hairstyle.

Figured, I'd post them for those folks who want to see the pieces and can't see the vid.
  2. Thanks for the updates folks. I didn't know while in CB they couldn't release any info, so that is new to me. I really wouldn't want anyone to compromise their spot so they can deliver pics. I'm just a really big costume nut who likes to view the costumes ahead of time and visualize what my suit will look like.

I had checked the Going Rogue website closely like a hawk; still nothing other than the environments and such.

I appreciate all the feedback you all provided.
  3. Hi there folks,

I'm feeling really disoriented as to the layout of the forum since my visit last year. I'm trying to find out if there is currently a thread out there that happens to show screenshots of the new costume sets from GR and I18 Shades of Gray. I used the search feature here on the forum and turned up nothing.

I was hoping to catch a glimpse of the new costumes since it's less than a month away and nothing has been shown on the DEVs part; even though previous issue release almost have costume previews two months ahead of that. I have seen what the GR website displays, which isn't enough in my opinion.

I understand that they went into closed testing recently and was hoping someone got screenshots of the Alpha and Omega costume sets, the Shades of Gray costumes sets, stances or generally any new costume piece that would be appearing.

If there are any other folks like myself, then you know the itch that you have struggling to scratch by just viewing these new costume pieces.

Thanks for any heads up info.
  4. Nicodemus, I too use a game pad and have since I started playing CoH. I had a few recommedations since I've been using the same game pad since. I use only Saitek controllers as they are the only ones with two additional buttons on the normal (x,y,a,b or square, circle, X, triangle) buttons are. On top of which, I have been able to rock out both Analog sticks and still use the directional pad for additional actions. I went by the Saitek website and apparently they don't sell usb pc controllers any longer (only flight sticks); you can still find them on Amazon. I posted them here for you to take a view.

Also; if they were to drop pad support, I'd have to stop playing; only because I have a severe case of carpal tunnel and the pad helps extremely.

This is the one I use with no problems thus far since I started playing in '07

    The next one I'm considering

    Hope it helps
  5. I'm inclined to mentioned that after the winter event patch was installed on my system, I now am getting crazy lag when there was none the night before. I have 4gb of ram in my system and a pretty decent video card that runs smoothly and I can even run 3 other programs with no problems. Then right after the patch, the game is the only thing running and still lag. I even turned down my graphics and the same lag kicks in. It's getting seriously annoying as I want to play and I cant.
  6. I was just telling my friend that there was not enough costumes. Good to see this show up.

All of you griping that the hardsuit should be available to all need to realize that NCSoft will be hosting events that will give "goodies" to those that attend, and since some of those events like the one at PAX are paid for by the attendees, well why shouldn't they get the goodies? It's just like having to pay a bit extra to get the wedding outfits. Those that attended both PAX and the meet and greet in effect paid for the privelage.

My only gripe as you call it, is that, while we the people, are very far away from these events to consider going. I am furious what some of these folks are doing on ebay with them. It seriously gets me upset to the point of yelling why CoX isn't smart enough to just have a Kiosk ready to simply enter the code onto their NCSoft accounts?! Why would I be mad? Because these idiot's are taking what should be a great joy to sport this costume and selling them for well over a hundred dollars on ebay!! No Joke! DEVS, LISTEN UP PLEASE!

On your next con, setup a computer kiosk to have that person enter their code there. No hording of the code, no selling on ebay. My god, the only thing that pisses me off worst is the people actually paying good money for this code. We are the folks who desperately want this to sport this costume on the game and we have to sit here and take it while some punk a$$ kid pockets cash out of this. It doesn't seem fair and I'm calling shannigans on this. Please figure out a system so this does not happen. Perhaps a new method where the code is produce and has an hour time limit to be entered. More than enough time for that person who claims they don't know their account info to call home and get it and enter it in at the kiosk.

Getting a headache just writing about this. Please folks, if you agree let me know, it's been an issue I have been meaning to address since I saw this happen after Comic Con, freakshow passes.

Please keep in mind that the little sweepstakes and fun contests are great when they are free, but when folks start taking advantage of this for profit, you know you are opening a larger can of worms.
  8. YAY! New Costume sets! I don't mind forking over 10 bucks for that, but I'm not so sure about giving 5 bucks for a temporary jetpack, even if it is for 30 days. That sounds buju. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful before any of you retaliate, just stating that they should just add it to the Cyborg costume set and increase to 15 dollars but make the pack on a permenant status. I'd still fork over that amount assuming that the costume set is awesome.
  9. I'm not sure how to react to that. The fact that's that far down the road and the length of time I have already been with the game and my patience is wearing down; I am really looking forward to obtaining my anime sleek armor but I still have to wait for another year. Still, it's that far down the road, and with Champions Online coming around the corner in 2009, I might start consider looking elsewhere. I'm just a costume fanatic and the lack of new costume pieces (aside from the roman armor, that I did not want and the VEAT costumes that only a villian can sport. Which all I wanted from that set was only the BOOTS.) has definitely influenced me to join up with them if only for just the costumes alone.

Between now and June a good answer?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, it's probably an accurate answer. But "Between now and April 20th" would be a *good* answer.

    [/ QUOTE ]

A few SG members of mine believe it may be somewhere along the line of May 12th. I think that is more reasonable for the release of Issue 12, after all, we still need to have it tested before being released.
