I am an idiot who forgot I could block those invites.
Thanks for the pointers! -
Hilarious--this was the very guy I was referencing in the other thread. He usually gets me before the 10-count has finished when I appear in AP.

Since I came back to game at the beginning of the month I've found something new to me. I'm used to blind invites to teams, but constant blind invites to SGs? I can't walk through Atlas Park on an 'unaffiliated' toon without this.
Does anyone else have this problem, or know of it? I figure the next time it happens I'll start stocking my global ignore list. Only after consideration is offered to publishing said globals here and embarassing the players.
Come on guys. If you want SG mates team with them, show em what you got and maybe they'll join.
But this is annoying. Enough, please! -
Hi all!
I know Shay was doing this a few months ago but didn't have much luck (what with emergency server shutdowns and not a lot of interest then, etc) so I'd like to offer it again, in conjunction with Shaytanah.
Could you add the following to the calendar?
Monday, Jan 25th: Atlas Accolade Hunt
Monday, Feb 1st: Freedom Phalanx Reserve Accolade
Monday, Feb 8th: Portal Jockey Accolade
These three combined grant +15% on your health, and +10 on your endurance. Hunting what's needed for them is pretty quick and easy in a group. Each hunt begins at 10pm Atlantic (9 Eastern); meet under Atlas.
I know Shay is doing her thesis and is strapped for time these days but drop her a line in-game if you're interested (@Shaytanah) or drop one to myself (@Aurelius.). I'll pop up a sign up sheet if there's enough interest.
Thanks! -
What makes me sick, Witty, is I got that.
Happy Birthday, Angie! -

Oh, I am going to buy some of you.
Four words: Summoned. Illusionist. Decoy. Farm.
Oh yes. And since one of you told me how much you hate farming illusionist decoys guess who I'm saving my money for. -
Great story and lots of heartfelt congrats to M and A!

Nice.
What is it about spouses? I made a new account due to wifely pressure and now, after exploring what the new (to me) issues have to offer I can't believe I ever left. She too said 'Champion server or GTFO'. -
Well, I moved out at a pretty young age--I was 15. A year or so later I moved from the suburbs into the city and scored myself a passable little apartment. A small building, inhabited mainly by the young (and constantly smelling like a Grateful Dead concert).
Right under me was a young lady who had also moved out young. We got to be pretty good friends while I was living there, although I certainly didn't approve of the sad excuse for a man she spent her time with.
Flash forward a few years.
I'm strolling past a local park with a buddy of mine, feasting our eyes on the young lady sashaying in front of us. "Hey", I said to him, "That girl's got curves like the freakin' moon! Wow. She's gonna be the mother of my kids!"
She turned around and, of course, it was my neighbor, who had overheard my remark.
Didn't see her for about a year after that due to moving about.
One fine day, I'd come out of a relationship with a nutjob of epic proportions. I'd learned a lot about what I *didn't* want in a woman, which made narrowing down the search a lot easier.
Out of the blue, I ran into this lovely young lady, formerly my neighbor. We got to talking and it came out that we'd both had a thing for the other for a good long while now. One thing led to another and now she's my wife, favorite game-mate, best friend and the reason I get out of bed in the morning (and also the reason I get right back in at night!).
And of course, as I prophesied, mother o' my offspring.
I lucked into the best woman ever to grace the face of this planet (no offense to the other ladies here). She's smart, incredibly tough (she's taken down more men with her right hook than Ali), fiercely devoted and just stunning. I don't deserve her--I've yet to meet the man who does--but I thank the powers-that-be daily for her presence in my life. -
Hi again Champions!
I'd like to thank you all for the warm welcome. Especially Amygdala, for dropping me a line in-game about how to get on BMT; to Cobalt for the channel invite, and to Shaytanah for the influence, Hallowe'en salvage and answering all my questions about the new issues--new to me, any way.
Champion server feels like home already. A very good crew of people. I'm glad to be among you all. -
Well then, at least you know things can only get better.
-
Not a new player, just newly returned.
But I've read through the forums and was prepared for this:
I believe that once Ash adds some popcorn, my Champion initiation will be complete! -
Hello, Champions!
I'm just coming back to the game after quite an absence (stopped playing sometime between issues 9 and 10). A little bit of poking about and so on regarding the state of the various servers these days has lead me to believe Champion is the place to be (rather than my former stomping grounds on Freedom).
I'm looking forward to some good times in Paragon again. I had figured I'd never come back to the game (or MMOs period) so I foolishly gave away my old account. I'm starting from scratch.
Hope to meet many of you in-game over the next little while.
Cheers!
