    Good point.

Yay for the 7th anniversary of COH!

Sane could also help. Which a lot of the heroes portrayed in this game aren't.

    Villains I expect it from.

You have a verrrry strange definition of what a hero is.

But that really doesn't surprise me.

I said it could be an I20.5 release, as filling out the new slots with extra stuff would be like filling out the Alpha slot in I19.5 - or I said it could be I21.

The next content release after I20 is either I20.5 or I21 - what I said was totally correct.
    We'll see.

If you're right I'd be very happy.

Nemesis pets are even mentioned, although only as they start to make Nemesis jokes, so who knows if that was real or part of the joke. Regardless, since he does specify "next content release," I'd guess no additions in any Issue 20.5, but it sure sounds to me like Issue 21 will have more Lore pets.

    d
If it were a joke, it's a bad one to make.

Hopefully GG is proven right, and me wrong.

Additions to Incarnates would be cool to come that fast.

The answer you're looking for starts around the 2 minute mark, but I'd suggest you watch the whole thing - there's quite a lot of interesting info in it, as well as some story hints for the future
No need. Look at the post above you. You claimed that it was coming soon. You named an issue. That's false.

They simply said they want to do it. Not when.

Spreading things like that around leads to "devs lied" idiocy that comes when folks don't get things exactly when they think they should have them, cause they read on the forums "that the devs said so!!!!!!!elventy11111!!!!"

    Yeah, not buying it.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

The recent Issues are just the meta-story coming back into focus - GR was more about the details of Tyrant's dictatorship - I19 and I20 are about the bigger picture of Tyrant's dictatorship.
What I was referring to was the complete lack of any moral decision we make in Prae from levels 1-20 mattering when it comes time to choose a hero or villain, linked with that fact that Loyalists ARE IN FACT villains, which makes allowing them to choose heroside even funnier.

    Link please.

Where did they say they are adding new trees to existing slots in the next issue or mid-issue?

My understanding was that they would like to expand the slots later on, later as in issues down the line, and NOT anytime soon.

I'm asking so we don't spread such a rumor around.

    OMG, this!!!!

This thread has seriously depressed me, as I had assumed that it's only a handful of people who were this stupid. I thought it was just my bad luck on lambdas (one of the MANY reasons I've started avoiding Lambda like the plague--I'd rather use my own inf to open those slots than spend time with further idiocy I've seen on some of those lambda runs--and folks like Snow Globe wondered why I was so opposed to the Queue during beta). But now I see it's a universal issue.

To me it serves its core purpose: It's just vague enough that it allows people the CHOICE as to whether it's something that's important to them or not.
GR was heading in this direction even more but the recent issues made an about face on that.

I honestly no longer care about the Goatee Universe story.

I'm eagerly awaiting the Coming Storm when it finally arrives in issue 45 or something.

Áll the zones are co-op, Steve Sheridan has already linked up with the Wardens, Arachnos has linked up with the Crusaders, and the co-op-friendly Vangyard are setting up a forwards base in Praetoria - a new 35-50 Paretorian zone set outside the sonic barrier with co-op Vanguard content as well as separate Hero and Villain content might be one possible way of expanding Praetoria and continuing to tie it in with the normal 1-50 path on Primal Earth.
That level 35-50 content is looking VERY far down the line.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's anytime before Issue 23.

And Praetoria was really always a looming threat. The arcs is 40-50 in Peregrine didn't just magically vanish. They make it clear that the praetorians are NOT actually outright defeated.

EDIT: I STILL say they need a revamping of the older content, because RIGHT NOW players are going from the new and shiney 1-20 Prae into a game that really needs a new shiney coat of paint. Those 20-50 arcs are no way near coming soon enough for players to ignore the glaring differences between Prae and the legacy content, especially in COH.

No, they could have allowed high level TFs to drop threads or allow players to bump up the diff to +4 to earn those threads. SOMETHING would have been better than NOTHING.
Before this goes off into a mod-smackable argument, I will note for both sides that the devs have said they are going to intro more STORY ARCS and TFs that aren't trials, for Incarnates.

I would also bet money (based on their history of how they respond to player comments) that an Incarnate Mode for older content (recent suggestion, look it up) might be in the works. That they haven't actually confirmed yet though.

I . . . don't entirely agree with that. Especially since the decisions you make in Praetoria have no bearing whatsoever to whether you become a hero or villain. You could be the nastiest of nastiest of Cole supporter and simply click "Hero" when it's time to go to COH. I think there are other ways they could have handled it.

The also could have still intro'd endgame WITHOUT prae, even if they wanted to use Tyrant's crew. GR IS NOT our first intro to him and his baddies, so using them as villains for Endgame could still have been possible without the starting area of Praetoria.

Sure the NEEDED an expansion, I'll agree with that.

How they went about it is another issue.

Also all of this doesn't get them off the hook, folks STILL want a lower level revamp. Especially for COH, which is starting to look archaic when compared to the rest of the game.

Everytimre I take my Alphas out for a couple hours of 50 solo play but return yet again with Zero shards, it all makes me very, very angry and upset with this dev team. I've gotten exactly 3 shards in my last 12 hours of game play - just enough to be aware of the total disrespect and contempt this dev group has for their solo content paying fan base.

But, however angry I may be, I am not quitting. I will continue to give the majority of my time to all my lower level characters in the hope that within a couple of years the devs will return to their senses and get this game back to its roots of providing its entire paying player base with content and advancement that is reasonably doable for every play style.
I need to echo Evil. I do not agree with everything the devs have done recently, but . . .

Err they could have added the trials while allowing threads to drop during Tin Mage/Apex the revamped Praetorian Arcs in Peregrine, and on the high level tfs.

Sooo, no, it's not one or the other. It was a CHOICE to only allow threads to drop from just two pieces of content, just like it was a CHOICE to REDUCE the reward on tin mage/apex.

    I love Issue 20, but let's call a spade a spade.
