Right, I understand that is your point now.
At first I thought you were trying to say that Hamidon damage was Resistable by Regens. -
That wasn't my point. I was just responding to the comment about Regen having resistance versus Hami, though now that I re-read it that is not what he meant.
-
Actually I think the point is no has RESISTANCE to Hami damage. But there is DEFENSE against it. There is a big difference in those two statements in the City of * world.

Is there a guide to the Patron Powers?
I don't mean a listing of the powers (and numbers), but how they work in use actually during actual gameplay. -
Which is why I'm going with Phase Shift. I have to agree with EvilGecko (even though I don't agree with all his reasoning) but MoG IS a gamble.
When it fails it sucks! But oh baby when it works, it's a lot of fun. -
did this, and I'll stick with Phase Shift.
Also, having to go to a PVP zone or buy a temp power doesn't do it for me.
Thanks for the advice though.
EDIT: Just want to mention that as a stalker, who already took stealth and invisiblity, Phase isn't a three power choice for me. So it really is either Phase of MoG. My experience on TEST says Phase Shift. -
Well, I don't completely agree with that. Back in my early days I have phase shift on my stalker, and it was pretty reliable for me as a "oh crap" power. The key was to activating it on time, which I'm pretty good at. I see "oh crap" as I just ran outta inspirations, and i'm a [censored] load of trouble with no healer nearby or person to port me out.
I was asking about Mog, because I have no experience using it and was trying to compare it to phase shift. Guess I should have made that clear. I do have experience with phase shift, and have never died while using it as an "oh crap" power. Obviously waiting to you have a slither of health to activate it is ludicris (spelling?) as is using it over those 3 green inspirations in your tray.
I meant to use it as a possible escape when you run out of them, and you want to buy yourself a few secs more to get away when you team has overaggroed. Which phase shift used to do quite nicely for me before I respeced out of it back when I was lvl 22. FYI, my stalker is about to hit 41. -
Heh, thanks but that's not a very good answer. I want to know what I should select now, not in some future year in 2008 when they finally look at Mog.
Guess I'll take Phase shift. -
So should i pick Mog or Phase shift on my spines/regen stalker?
-
Ok I was thinking of getting Mog on my regen scrapper as an "Oh crap!" power. Should I get that or phase shift? (I would need to get invis first, but at my next lvl up I can get mog right away)
So which is better Mog or phase shift for the "oh crap" power? -
Although, I love this game and want to see it continue . . . I'm not too optimistic about the Korean market for one simple reason: Superheros are more a western concept.
I'm not so sure how well the Asian market will grasp a "superhero" MMO. -

"Btw....do you have Build-Up? "
Heh. I know I do. Getting Stealth next also. lol -
Simple: block access to the villian hospital by heroes. they already do this with villians not being able to go into the hero hospital. The devs are looking into this.
I just want to point out that no matter what we discuss it looks like the Devs WILL be doing some nerfs soon. Why not discuss how they should do it (without gutting Stalkers) instead of deluding ourselves into thinking they won't happen?
The red name that posted earlier already confirmed that SOMETHING is coming. -
here's a suggestion:
why not allow us to have the option to make a PVP ready character (up to the max level for warbug)? that way all who want to PVP can pick powers that can compensate for what they find most annoying (one-shotting, tp-foeing, stealth-hidden opponents mezzing, etc), and those that only want to PVE can just make characters for PVE?
just wondering aloud. -
One suggestion: Add unlimited missions, (a feature like a police radio that tells of random acts of vandalism you can stop through the city) and keep raising the level limit each issue, add new epic archtypes that you can only get at level 60, 70, 80, etc. Ofcourse I see the counter argument in that you eventually STILL do hit a wall.
But not with unlimited missions. Have the missions give presitge on the level of the way influence is given out now or maybe even at half of the level that influence is given now. One advantage of this is that people might stop complaining about base building costs and would be more inclined to make PVP raidable bases.
Just some suggestions. What do ya'll think?
