Yeah, so i found the Shooters, mostly I just sit outside it's window.. watching..listening..learning?

I love the podcast, great introductions and fun! I was wondering if there was anywhere you were going to have, to perhaps, post upcomming show content/times or even a place to ask you questions for your podcast down the road? I know you say people can leave an IM or email, but we also enjoy you telling us stuff, rather than just bombarding you with hair-frazzling tells!

Sweet, I had already found the podcast before you posted this, I was trying to find any currently active CoH podcasts, and it's actually been interesting, can't wait to hear more of them!
As far as what makes Protector so great? I can't say much as I've just started the game, but I'm loathe to leave the server atm since I've found a wide variety of people who've just grabbed me for PUGs and forced me to go out of my way to experience new things and have tons of fun! It's been awesome, and most everyone I've met has been so helpful and full of advice for noobs! I love it!
Keep up the good work on Off the Cape! I didn't understand some of the references, but I managed Durn noobness....

That's not so bad, you just probably aren't going to want to tank much for a while. And, as I understand it, Dual Blades will cause trouble for your endurance. Just watch your blue bar and don't ever let it ever drop to zero (and detoggle your armors).
I did find the Wiki, and that helped alot with basic info I needed to play game, and answered a bunch of questions that I had, so it's great! (and kudos to whomever is working on the site!) -

Because no one has mentioned it, when you view the server list the top most one will be the last server you had logged in to, immediately followed by the 'currently' least active, down to the most active.
Now, it was mentioned that Protector is the 'smallest server', that does not translate to 'least active'. It's usually in the top three (list-wise,) but I've also seen it hovering down in the middle of the pack, and as far down as 4th (from the bottom.)
It really depends on whats going on.

Like Gray said, it's kinda hard to muck up a character. But out of curiosity, what are you rolling with as a main right now? You said it was a villain of some type?

Welcome to the game, AstralRune.
A big help is joing some of the various Global Chat Channels like Jello Shooters, Protector Vigilance, and Protector TF's. Those a good starting points in finding out what's going on and what people are up to.
Definitely announce yourself in those, it's much easier to hook up with people than just relying on Broadcast. I've also gotten on N P C, which is helpful.
RP is just fine, I enjoy RPing villain, havn't really tried with hero yet, not 'in the zone' for a hero mindset yet

I've been playing for about a week and loved the game enough to buy full version. I made all my characters so far on Protector and thought I'd give a shout here.
I prefer to play my (one) villain I've made, but I have a handful of heroes as well (which I do enjoy). I'm looking to meet up and join a group that stays kind of active, as I'll most likely be playing at least a couple hours everyday if I can. I'm interested in missions/PvP/raids or whatever I can do with a team.
There's so much I have to learn (I am very much yet a noob) and so much I want to do.
I'm not interested in powerlevelling up to 50 asap, I am solely here to enjoy the story and the grouping. Most of my characters are pathetic by the few guides I've read online for high-power PCs, and for that I'll apologize now. I pick what interests me for a theme of the character, min-maxing can come later if I need it!
If you can put up with my noobness and have an interest in having a (low level) eager to play person in your SG or just a team, let me know?
If you see me in game, all my characters so far start with the name "Starlight" <something> just because... idk why...

I've been playing the free trial this past week, and have decided to upgrade to full game within the next couple of days. I've really enjoyed being in Teams running missions or just having fun, and am now looking to find a SG that has members who like to team up for whatever (missions, raids, PvP, it's all in good fun!).
I have been playing on Protector, but am willing to start a character on any server (my highest level is only Lv 11, I'm not very far yet).
If anyone is willing to put up with some newbie with alot of questions and willingness to play the game (I'm planning on being in game at least a couple hours per day as I can be atm) let me know. I've played a couple heroes, but made a villain and am really enjoying that too, but either works for me atm to learn how to play the game!
My global handle is @Starlight Nova (I believe- my first character) or reply here with suggestions/offers and I'll check it while I'm installing fullgame!
