My opinion.
I support the idea that previously gain souvenirs should be used to ensure higher level characters will gain the rare invention drops they have earned by finishing arcs.
This may torque off power-leveled characters but I do think the devs made it apparent that there were costs to power-leveling.

What about my Controller who didnt get Power Leveled but couldnt solo or complete his own Missions, so he has hardly any contacts, no souveniers and is just SoL on his completed Story Arcs? -

Much better system but think there should be a very small chance for to get stuff from other pools. Something like
Doing Pool A stuff 97% of the time you get Pool A; 1% from Pool B; 1% from Pool C; 1% from Pool D
Doing Pool B stuff 97% of the time you get Pool B; 1% from Pool A; 1% from Pool C; 1% from Pool D
Doing Pool C stuff 97% of the time you get Pool C; 1% from Pool A; 1% from Pool B; 1% from Pool D
Doing Pool D stuff 97% of the time you get Pool D; 1% from Pool A; 1% from Pool B; 1% from Pool C
This way you could always have a small chance to get something without having you "Must do X to get Y'.

Instead, how about Spreading the Story Arc into the Defeat Pool. Think about it, 95% Chance for Normal Defeat pool item, 5% Chance for Story Arc Pool. Leave the others 100%. The reasoning being that you defeat *hundreds* if not thousands of Mobs during a characters lifetime. Having that small % Chance *along* with the guranteed drop from story Arcs keeps the Flavor, but still gives 50s a reason to sweep Missions or assist others: For the 5% chance. Or if its too small raise it, to maybe 10%. -

The logic behind buffing consume is that its in a defensive set, and specifically a defensive set that relies on high endurance output to reach comparable performance with its peers on average, both for tankers and brutes. In many cases, that is because many of its peers have significant endurance recovery and/or endurance management also.
[/ QUOTE ]
What about /Fire blaster's Consume? /Fire blasters fit into both of your justifications, as far as my experience goes. They suck down endurance to reach their potential and other blaster secondaries have endurance management powers as well.
[/ QUOTE ]
The difference is, the Dark Melee set is a complete utility set, With Fear, Healing, AoE Buffage and AoE Damage that restores endurance. As is its quite a strong set and does not need any sort of extreme buffs to make it able to sustain massive endurance costs. Compared to Firey Aura that is still somewhat lacking with Resistances and Some Mez protection, boosting consume to be in line with other defensively based Endurance Restorative powers might not be such a bad idea. -
It doesnt hurt, and Id REALLY like one to Fix my controller.....again.....for the 6th Time....

How about the ability to Trade more then 99999 Inf at once? That wouldnt be game breaking would it? For costume contests or just shuffling some Influence to your lowbie Characters, why does something like that have to be a pain?

NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Will some Triumph Pie make you consider otherwise? -
Guantlet? Rely on that? Riiiight, Cause with guantlet I can keep AV agro just fine, With Guantlet I can make sure Every Mob Stays on me, With Guantlet I can keep my team safe.
NOT.
Guantlet is completely useless if your fighting anything thats +2 or Above, simply because the taunting effect doesnt last at all, So Unless Im spamming Taunt and using footstomp every 10 Seconds Its damn hard to hold Agro.
And try to use Guantlet on an AV now and see how long they attack you before your squishy defender gets 1 shotted. -
Its been said before, PC vs PC and PC vs NPC health Bar status means different things.
I can be fighting mobs and be at half health, eh no big deal I can handle myself, I can continue fighting mobs and I know when to pull out and avoid debt.
Now Im fighting, at half health, still no big deal then all of a sudden I get gang banged by a lovely group of PvPers on the opposite side. Normally where I dont get debt Im looking at a lovely 50% that I should NEVER have gotten.
Before this change, either way, Id not have gotten debt, cause I wouldve either ran, or simply not gotten debt through a PC kill. Now because of the uncontrollability of the zone (Which I actually enjoy. a Little chaos doesnt hurt anyone) I am more likely to recieve debt for my casual PvP while fighting in the hotspots.
Wow how long did you take to think this one through? -

You can whine all you want F but at the end of the day they still haqve more HOs than you.

Since I don't ever PVP, I'm not quite sure I follow how it would matter to me how many HOs they have.

They are better in PVE too and will b3e universially choosen over you both for their skill, their powersets, and their HOs.

What will be universally chosen over me?
Are you saying that the players who own these characters will be "universally chosen over me" to do something, like a Hami-raid? Or a pickup group?
* I don't do Hami-raids
* I don't even play my level 50 because RP-wise she was killed and resurrected as a (now 30th level) Kheldian
* I don't play on pickup groups, ever.
* No one in my SG has any HOs, nor wants any. We don't play level 50 raid content... we have 50s, but mostly retire them and start over with alts.
* Even if I played my level 50, I can do so on Invicible without any HOs. The game's already too easy -- why do I need to make it easier?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
If you don't play the game, you might as well be in There!

Your such a bundle of joy, theres more to this game then that and you know it. Its my $15 a month, Ill spend it to play how I want, if I dont want to do some of the things (For example, PvP) that the devs have put in the game you cant attack me for that, its how I choose to spend my time and money. -
Once every 24 hours versus once a week, Shall we do the math or are the numbers obvious?
Congrats on completeing this, a reward well earned.
